INSTRUCTIONS WHEN RECEIVING THE THOR250 ENGINE

When receiving your paramotor with the
Thor250 engine you will have to reinstall
the radiator on his support tight in the
6mm bolt (fig 1).
Then you will have to connect the long tube
to the pump (fig 2) and the other one on
the Top of the head cylinder (fig 3): take
care not to loose or damaged the O ring
gasket (fig 4).
Everything is connected so now you have
to fill the circuit with aluminum radiator
liquid which can be found in gas station and
motorbike shops.
The amount is approximately 1,2 L.
You will have to fill until 1/3 of the small bottle
(fig 5) which is on the top of the radiator.
After starting the engine, open the bottle to
control the cooling liquid level.

Like this we receive the engine.
We place the central bolt for the propeller support.
We leave the screws loose for the next step.
We place the central bolt for the propeller support.
We place the 6 propeller screws without tightening them.
We use a tubular bent key of 19mm. which is the only key that
will let you fasten with strength without damaging the central bolt.

Fasten *anti clockwise while we hold the propeller with our other hand.
Fasten the 6 screws of the carbon propeller at 0.8 Kgm (8Nm).
Serial number of the Polini engines
Ready for flight. Its normal that there is small space no
bigger than a millimeter.
DO NOT USE ANY OTHER KEY TO FASTEN FOR NOT DAMAGING
THE CENTRAL BOLT AND BE ABLE TO TIGHTEN WITH STRENGHT.
THOR200
The tightening will be clockwise for the engines
with serial numbers from 783 to 1591.
The tightening will be anti clockwise for the
engines with serial nº 1592 onwards.
THOR250
The tightening will be clockwise for the
engines with serial nº until no1689.
The tightening will be anti clockwise for the
engines serial nº 1690 and onwards .

These starters are a little more fragile than the conventional starters if not used correctly.
The strong dry pull is absolutely prohibited the movement should be a stretch of the arm in two times.
Pull the pulley slowly until bringing the piston to its point of compression, let the pulley go back and immediately
pull the pulley to unroll completely. It’s possible to have to repeat this various times for the engine to start.
