Parts and Their Functions
Displays a zebra pattern inside the viewfinder.
ON :Displays a zebra pattern.
OFF :No zebra pattern displayed.
The details of the display, such as the type of
zebra pattern, will differ depending on the camera
used with the viewfinder. Refer to the instruction
manual of the camera for details.
ZEBRA (Zebra Pattern) Switch

Controls the front tally lamp.
ON :Turns the tally lamp on.
OFF :Turns the tally lamp off.
TALLY Switch

Adjusts the outlines of the images in the viewfinder to
make focusing easier. The setting of this control has no
effect on the output signal of the camera.
PEAKING Knob

Adjusts the contrast of the screen inside the viewfinder.
The setting of this control has no effect on the output
signal of the camera.

This lamp functions when the TALLY switch is at the ON
position, and it lights while the VTR unit is recording.
Also, flashes on and off as a warning indication, in the
same manner as the R C lamp, inside the viewfinder.

Cleaning the Eyepiece
If dust has accumulated on the CRT screen or mirror, open
the eyepiece and remove the dust.
<Note>
Since the mirror surface has been specially treated, it is
recommended that a blower or similar device be used to
blow away any dust which has accumulated on it. Bear in
mind that using tissue paper, etc. to pick up the dust may
scratch or mark the surface. Stubborn dirt should be
removed with a piece of flocked fabric such as a cloth used
to clean spectacles available from a pharmacy or
supermarket.

Press the lock button.
To close the eyepiece
Close the eyepiece by pressing it until the lock button clicks
into place.
<Note>
In outdoor locations, do not leave the assembled camera
standing or carry it around with the eyepiece pointed up at
the sky. The inside of the eyepiece will be damaged by the
heat and light of the sun.

Position Adjustment
1. Loosen the crosswise position anchoring ring.
3. Tighten the viewfinder crosswise position anchoring ring
securely.
2. Adjust the viewfinder’s position by moving in the
crosswise direction to the left or right.

3. Push the viewfinder down into place.
4. Tighten the stopper screw firmly.
2. Insert the plug into the connection jack of the
viewfinder.
<Note>
Be sure to insert the plug all the way into the connection
jack.
1. Confirm that the POW R switch of the camera is “OFF”.
3. Pull the viewfinder straight up and remove.
4. Disconnect the plug from the connector used to connect
the viewfinder.
2. Loosen the stopper screw.
1. Confirm that the POW R switch of the camera is “OFF”.

Mounting the Microphone
The microphone supplied with the AG-DVC200 or that of the AJ-MC700P microphone kit (optional accessory) can be
attached to the unit.

1. Open the microphone holder.
<Note>
OWhen attaching the microphone to the unit, ensure that
the screw is tightened securely.
OSecurely tighten the stopper screw attached to the
crosswise adjustment section of the viewfinder. The
viewfinder may fall off if the stopper screw becomes
loose.
3. Plug the microphone connector cable into the MIC IN
jack.

Les co andes et leurs fonctions
Permet d’afficher un motif de zébrures dans le viseur.
ON :Affiche un motif de zébrures.
OFF :Aucun motif de zébrures n’est affiché.
Les détails de l’écran, comme le type du motif de
zébrures, varient en fonction de la caméra utilisée
avec le viseur. Pour les détails, se reporter au
manuel d’utilisation de la caméra.

Ce voyant fonctionne lorsque le commutateur TALLY est
placé à la position ON, et il s’éclaire lorsque le
magnétoscope est en train d’enregistrer.
Il clignote également à titre d’avertissement de la même
manière que le voyant R C à l’intérieur du viseur.

Nettoyage de l’oculaire
S’il y a de la poussière sur l’écran cathodique ou sur le
miroir, ouvrir l’oculaire et enlever la poussière.
<Remarque>
La surface du miroir ayant subi un traitement spécial, il est
recommandé d’utiliser par exemple une poire soufflante
pour souffler la poussière qui s’est accumulée. Noter que
l’utilisation d’un mouchoir en papier pour enlever la
poussière risque de rayer ou de marquer la surface. nlever
la saleté rebelle avec un chiffon, par exemple un chiffon de
bourre de coton pour nettoyage de lunettes en vente dans
les pharmacies ou les supermarchés.

Appuyer sur le bouton de verrouillage.
Pour fermer l’oculaire
Fermer l’oculaire en appuyant dessus jusqu’à ce qu’il
s’enclenche.
<Remarque>
A l’extérieur, ne pas laisser la caméra montée en position
verticale ni la transporter avec l’oculaire dirigé vers le ciel.
La chaleur et la lumière du soleil risqueraient
d’endommager l’intérieur de l’oculaire.
Réglage de la position
1. Desserrer la bague de fixation de la position
transversale.
3. Serrer la bague de fixation de la position transversale
du viseur à fond.
2. Régler la position du viseur en le déplaçant en sens
transversal vers la gauche ou vers la droite.

3. Appuyer sur le viseur pour l’insérer en position.
4. Serrer la vis de butée à fond.
2. Brancher la fiche dans la fiche de raccordement du
viseur.
<Remarque>
Bien insérer la fiche à fond dans la prise de
raccordement.
1. Vérifier que l’interrupteur POW R de la caméra est
placé à la position “OFF”.
3. Tirer droit sur le viseur pour le retirer.
4. Débrancher la fiche du connecteur auquel le viseur est
raccordé.
2. Desserrer la vis de butée.
1. Vérifier que l’interrupteur POW R de la caméra est
placé à la position “OFF”.

Fixation du icrophone
Il est possible de fixer le microphone fourni avec l’AG-DVC200 ou celui fourni avec le lot de microphone AJ-MC700P
(accessoire vendu séparément) sur l’appareil.

1. Ouvrir le support de microphone.
2. Monter le microphone. <Remarque>
OLors de la fixation du microphone sur l’appareil, vérifier
que la vis est bien serrée à fond.
OSerrer la vis de butée fixée à la section de réglage de la
position transversale du viseur à fond. Le viseur risque de
tomber si la vis se relâche.
3. Brancher le câble du connecteur de microphone dans la
prise MIC IN.
