To avoid risk of electric shock, fire, smoke, burns, scalding or injury
●Never disassemble, repair or modify this appliance.
→Please contact us using the contact list in the warranty for a check or repair.
●Do not immerse the appliance, power cord and plug in water or splash it with
water.
●Do not damage the power cord or power plug.
Following actions are strictly prohibited. Modifying, touching on or placing near heating elements,
bending, twisting, pulling, pulled over sharp edges, putting heavy objects on top, bundling the
power cord and carrying the appliance by the power cord.
●Do not use the appliance if the power cord or power plug is damaged or the
power plug is loosely connected to the outlet.
→If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an appropriate cord available by the
manufacture or its service agent. Refer servicing to a one of the contact list, as described in
the warranty.
●Do not plug or unplug the power cord with wet hands.
Always ensure that hands are dry before handling the power plug or touching the control panel
on the appliance.

Always keep the infants and children away from the appliance including power cord.
Children do not realize dangers that are likely to occur because of improper use of appliances.
●Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of table or worktop, or touch hot
surfaces.
●Do not touch, block or get your face close to places where steam is coming out.

Safety Precautions
Please take these precautions strictly
WARNING
●This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
●Discontinue using the appliance immediately and unplug in the unlikely event that
this appliance stops working properly.
<e.g. for abnormal or breaking down>
󱾁The power plug and the power cord become abnormally hot.
󱾁The power cord is damaged or the appliance power fails.
󱾁The main body is deformed, has visible damage or is abnormally hot.
󱾁The handle of the glass jug is loosen or a crack had appeared in the glass jug.
󱾁There is abnormal turning noise while in use.
󱾁There is another abnormality or failure.
→Unplug the appliance immediately. Please contact us using the contact list in the warranty for
a check or repair.
●Make sure the voltage indicated on the label of the appliance is the same as your
local supply.
Also avoid plugging other devices into the same outlet to prevent electrical overheating.
However, if you are connecting a number of power plugs, make sure the total wattage does not
exceed the rated wattage of the outlet.
●Insert the power plug firmly.
●Dust off the power plug regularly.
→Unplug the power plug, and wipe with a dry cloth.
●Use a power outlet which is grounded.
The power plug of this appliance is designed for a grounded outlet.

●Do not touch the hot surface such as the warming plate or top surface of the main
unit while appliance is in use or immediately after use.
󱾁Be careful with the residual heat source especially after use.
●Do not use the appliance on following places.
󱾁On uneven surfaces, on carpet, non-water-resistant surface or table cloths etc.
󱾁Places where it may be splashed with water or near a heat source.
󱾁Near any open water sources such as sinks, or the like.
●Do not move the appliance when the glass jug is in place.
●Do not remove the glass jug, water tank and basket while brewing.
●Do not move the appliance by holding the water tank lid or basket.
●Do not put fingers into the bean hopper. The sharp blade is located inside it.
●Do not open the water tank lid while the coffee is brewing.
●Do not supply the water to the water tank while keeping warm. Never press “Keep
Warm / Cancel” button while the water remains in the tank.

CAUTION
●Do not insert any object in the gaps.
●When handling the glass jug with hot coffee in, do not tilt or open the jug lid.
●Do not use the appliance near a wall, furniture, or in enclosed spaces such as a
built-in cupboard.
(Steam and heat could damage walls and furniture, causing a change in color and shape.)
●Make sure to hold the power plug when unplugging the power plug.
Never pull on the power cord.
●Beware not to be tripped over or get caught in the power cord while in use.
●Unplug the power plug from outlet when the appliance is not in use, before
moving and cleaning.
●Let the appliance cool down before moving, cleaning or handing mesh filter.
●Place the appliance on a firm, dry, clean flat heatproof worktop.
●Make sure to clean the appliance after every use.
Important Information
●Do not put other than roasted coffee beans into the bran hopper.
●Do not fill the water tank with milk, hot water etc. Only use cold water.
●Do not place the glass jug on any heat sources or in a microwave.
●Do not use a cracked glass jug or the glass jug having a loose or weakened handle.
●Never put the appliance or part of it in a dishwasher or dish-dryer.
Do not use the hot water to wash the parts.
●Wipe water droplet inside of the shower dome, bean hopper or mesh filter with a dry cloth
if wet before use. Otherwise, coffee beans remain inside the bean hopper.
Before use this appliance
Operate as following before using the appliance for the first time or when you have not
used it for a while.
#Wash and dry all detachable parts. (P. EN14, 15)
(Rinse a charcoal filter with the cold running tap water.)
$Place the parts in place.
③Fill water in the water tank up to 5 on the scale of Hot coffee “ ” then press
to brew.

(Be sure using only water. Not using coffee beans or grounds.)
④Press to turn off the power and throw the hot water in the jug away.
(Repeat %-&one or two times.)
This symbol on the products indicates “hot surface and should not be touched
without caution”.

malfunction.)
●Make sure that the water tank is positioned toward
down to the bottom. (If not, it stops the operation, after

Brewing Coffee (for your taste)
#Press to turn off.
$Wipe a wet part of mesh filter, bean hopper or inside of the lid.
(When you use beans.)
%Brew the coffee as step 󱳛to 󱳡(P. EN8 - EN11).
󱾁Wait for 2 to 3 minutes to place the water tank after turn off the unit.
(If it is placed soon, steam may spurt out.)
●Up to the second coffee may stronger when you brew it consecutively.
●Preheat the cup, jug and others with hot water.
●We do not recommend keep-warm your coffee more than 15 minutes for its taste and flavor.

󱾁Coffee beans or ground for iced coffee

󱾁Syrup, cream, etc.
#Brew the coffee as step 󱳛to 󱳡(P. EN8 - EN11).
$Put the ice cube to the glass, pour the coffee into the glass and stir well.
●Do not put the ice cube to the glass jug.
(If the surface is damaged, it may cause fracture.)
●Making a single cup of iced coffee is not possible.
Make iced coffee 2 to 5 cups.

Make your coffee taste by using coarse/medium grind mesh filter and select the course.
●Medium grind mesh filter is attached when you purchased.

Clean the water tank with citric acid when brewing speed is slow
While using this appliance, the mineral contained in the water adheres to the water tank or
the water pipe. This is called “scale” and if it adheres, hot water goes through uneasily and
it causes the brewing speed gets slow.

made more build-up scale.
●Make sure only use pure citric acid for washing.
