Before installation
1. Determine the model and car configuration before installation.
2. Connect a security system to PC via a USB cable. Windows (XP, 7, 8, 10) operating system must be
installed on your PC. The PC must have a connection to the Internet.
3. Enter the programming mode on the system.
4. Run Pandora Alarm Studio (it can be downloaded from http://pandorainfo.com/support/alarmstudio-
firmware/ )
5. Make sure the actual version of firmware is installed on your system. Update the firmware if it is
required.
Carmaker can make changes in electrical schemes of cars and CAN commands. Therefore, test whether reading
of CAN statuses and CAN command execution are performed correctly before installation. If any CAN status is
not read or any CAN command is not executed, make analog connection and disable CAN status or CAN
command in Alarm Studio.
WARNING! This installation manual has the status of recommendations. The system must be installed by a
certified technician. Wires connections and insulation must be carried out in accordance with the
requirements of the automaker. It is prohibited to place wires near sharp elements and moving parts of a car.
Wiring through the holes must be carried out using special rubber bushings. The car electrical scheme and
color of wires can be changed by automaker, so suggested connection points should be checked before
installation.

Base unit location

The unit must be securely fastened with double-sided
tape and plastic ties.

System-settings after installation
All settings are performed when the system is in programming mode.
Enter the programming mode
Enter programming mode by entering ‘Service PIN-code’ (factory preset is 1-1-1-1). PIN-code should be
entered using external or located on the base unit VALET button.

PIN entry
Press the “valet” button the number of times
equal to the first digit of the PIN code (in this
case, 1 time). Each press will be confirmed with a
green flash of the LED. Pauses between presses
should not exceed 1 sec.
A pause of more than 1 second and a red flash of
the status indicator indicates the confirmation of
the first digit and the transition to the next.
Enter the second, third and fourth
PIN number.
The system will confirm entering the correct pin
with red and green flashes of the LED and goes to
the programming mode
If the code is entered incorrectly, a long red flash of the indicator will indicate this, and the system will return
to the previous state. A new entry can be made only after 5 seconds.
Idle speed recording
Enter the programming level №3
Press the valet button 3 times. Each press will be
confirmed with a green flash of the LED. Pauses
between presses should not exceed 1 sec.
The system will confirm entering the level №3
with 3 red flashes of the LED and 3 sound signals
of the LED
If the number was entered incorrectly, there will
be no confirmation of the number, after a series
of green and red flashes, the system will go to
the beginning of the programming menu.

Start the engine
The engine must be warmed-up, RPM values
should be same as normal idle RPM of the
engine.
Saving
Press the valet button.
The system will confirm recording with:
1 sound signal of the siren –success
3 sound signals of the siren –RPM was not
recognized
The system will confirm entering the correct pin
with red and green flashes of the LED and goes to
the programming mode
If an analog lock is connected, the engine will stall
Immobilizer bypass learning procedure
Enter the programming level №17
Press the valet button 17 times. Each press will
be confirmed with a green flash of the LED.
Pauses between presses should not exceed 1 sec.
The system will confirm entering the level №17
with 17 red flashes of the LED and 17 sound
signals of the LED
If the number was entered incorrectly, there will be
no confirmation of the number, after a series of
green and red flashes, the system will go to the
beginning of the programming menu.

Turn on ignition
Learning
The LED will be flashing green, then in case of:
Success –the LED will be green and siren will
sound a beep
Fail –the LED will be red and the siren will sound
4 beeps.
Saving
Press the valet button.
Exit programming mode
Turn off ignition. Then turn on and off ignition
again
The system will confirm entering the correct pin
with red and green flashes of the LED and goes to
the programming mode
