Introduction
Information about these operating
instructions
Congratulations!
You have purchased a high-quality product.
Familiarise yourself with the product before using
it for the first time. To do this, read the following operating
instructions thoroughly. Use the product only as described
and for the specified range of applications. Keep these
operating instructions in a safe place. Please also pass
these operating instructions on to any future owner.
Proper use
The product is used exclusively for emptying containers
such as whirlpools, rain barrels or garden ponds. It can
also be used to transport service water or waste water up
to 40°C. The product can only be used in combination
with a standard drill with a round shank and a power
output of at least 600 watts.

Before use, the product must be mounted on a wooden
board to prevent accidental twisting of the drill.
Commercial or industrial use is not permitted. No liability
will be assumed in cases of improper use. No liability will
be assumed for damage caused by misuse or improper
handling, the use of force or unauthorised modification.
The risk is borne solely by the user.
Safety
■ Check the product before every use to make sure it is
in perfect condition. Do not use the product if it is dam-
aged in any way. The drive shaft of the product cannot
be turned by hand. This is not an indication
of damage.
■ Do not allow children to use the product unless they
are being supervised. Children are not always able to
correctly recognise potential dangers. This product is
not a toy.

■ This product is not intended for use by individuals
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory,
or mental capabilities. It may also not be used by
individuals who lack experience and/or knowledge
unless they are supervised by a person responsible for
their safety or have received instructions on how to use
the product from such a person.
■ Some of the supplied parts can be swallowed. If a
part is swallowed, seek medical advice as soon as
possible.
■ Use protective equipment. For
your own safety, always wear
ear muffs, a breathing mask/dust mask, safety gog-
gles and safety gloves.
■ Operate the product only if you have mounted it on a
wooden board using the supplied mounting material
to prevent it from flailing around, twisting or canting.
Otherwise, there is a risk of injury!
■ Make sure that you use a wooden board that is large
enough to fit the entire product and the drill.

■ Please observe the operating instructions of the
drill when you are using the product.
■ Disconnect the mains plug before assembling or
disassembling parts or when the tool is not in use.
■ Do not leave the product unattended when it is in
operation.
■ Check that the connected hoses are attached tightly.
■ The product cannot be turned by hand.
■ Make sure that no liquids can get onto the
drill you are using to power the product. If this
does happen, remove the plug from the mains power
socket immediately.
■ Avoid sucking up coarse dirt as this could damage the
product. If necessary, use a filter on the intake hose.
■ Do not pump any flammable, explosive,
toxic or corrosive liquids or drinking
water!
■ Operate the drill only in a clockwise direction.

Assembly
NOTE
► In addition to the supplied product, you will need
a drill with a round shank adapter, a 4.5 mm drill bit
and an AF 7 mm open-ended spanner.
► In addition, you will need a wooden board that the
product and the drill will fit on completely.
♦ Place the product and the drill on the wooden board
so that they rest completely on the wooden board.
Mark out the drill holes.
♦ Use a 4.5 mm drill bit to drill two holes in the wooden
board.
♦ Secure the product using the supplied screws, washers
and retaining nuts.

Use
Preparations
NOTE
► You will need two garden hoses ∅13 mm(½").
♦ Connect the drill to the drive shaft 2using a suitable
drill chuck and lay the drill flat on the wooden board.
♦ Connect the suction hose to the connection 3.
Pay attention to the direction of the arrow .
The water can only be pumped in the direction of the
arrow.
♦ Connect the pressure hose to the connection 1.

Pumping water
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► The product is self-priming and may only be allowed
to run dry for a maximum of 30 seconds.
► The maximum speed is 2800 rpm.
► The temperature of the pumped liquid must not
exceed 40°C.
♦ Place the open end of the suction hose into the liquid
to be pumped. At least 1 metre of the suction hose
must be free of liquid in order to be able to pump the
liquid optimally. Make sure that the intake hose does
not draw in any air. The maximum suction height is
3 metres.
♦ Place the open end of the pressure hose where the
liquid is to be pumped. The maximum delivery height
is 15 metres.

♦ Switch on the drill to drive the product and pump the
liquid. Do not leave the product unattended. Make
sure that the drill is running clockwise. If the speed of
the drill is adjustable, you can use it to regulate the
flow rate.
♦ Switch off the drill after you have finished pumping
the liquid.
Cleaning and storage
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents,
as they can damage the surfaces of the product.
♦ Clean the surfaces of the product with a soft, dry cloth.
For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth with a little
mild detergent.
♦ Store the product in a clean, dry location out of direct
sunlight.

Maintenance
♦Oil the product at regular intervals using
biodegradable lubricating oil. To do this, put
a few drops of the lubricating oil into the
connection for the intake hose 3.
Disposal
Dispose of the product via an approved
waste disposal company or your municipal
waste disposal facility. Please comply with all
applicable regulations. Contact your waste
disposal facility if you are in any doubt.
Your local community or municipal authorities
can provide information on how to dispose
of the worn-out product.
The product is recyclable, subject to extended
producer responsibility and is collected
separately.

Dispose of the packaging in an environmen-
tally friendly manner.
Note the labelling on the packaging and
separate the packaging material components
for disposal, if necessary. The packaging
materials are labelled with abbreviations (a)
and numbers (b) with the following meanings:
1–7: plastics, 20–22: paper and cardboard,
80–98: composites.
