Removal and Replacement
Procedures
This section describes how to remove and install components from the device.
Tools Required
The following tools are required to perform maintenance on the device:
• Phillips screwdriver
• Tweezers
• Plastic pry
Service Considerations
Do the following prior to performing any maintenance procedures:
1. Unplug the AC adapter and remove all cables connections.
2. Turn o the device.
3. Place the device on a at and stable surface.

Removing Battery
1. Slide the release latch to
unlock the battery cover.
2. Lift the battery cover to
remove it
3. Lift the battery pack to
remove it.

4. Disconnect the cable
from the interface board
connector. This releases
the lower case completely
o the upper case.

display.

1. Unfasten the 4 screws
securing the interface
board to the lower case.
2. Disconnect the speaker
cable.
3. Disconnect the Fingerprint
scanner cable.
4. Disconnect the camera
cable.

5. Remove the interface
board.

4. Disconnect the 4G
antenna.
5. Disconnect the GPS
antenna.
6. Unfasten the 9 screws
from the rear board.
