FAILURE TO FOLLOW CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS MAY VOID WARRANTY
Cleaning Instructions for Rover Stretcher Crib
Use a damp sponge or soft cloth with mild soap or detergent. Rinse with clean water
and dry.
To disinfect Stretcher Crib: Be sure to follow manufacturer’s directions for diluting
cleaning solutions. DISINFECTANTS ARE CORROSIVE IN NATURE AND MAY
CAUSE DAMAGE IF USED IMPROPERLY. Care must be taken to thoroughly rinse
with clean water and to thoroughly dry the Stretcher Crib. Failure to properly rinse and
dry will leave a corrosive residue which may cause damage to critical components.
Do not steam clean, hose off, or immerse any part of the Stretcher Crib.
Clean the Staph-Chek mattress with mild soap and lukewarm water. Rinse with clean
water.
To disinfect mattress: Remove mattress from Stretcher Crib. Use disinfectants
recommended by Herculite, either phenolic type or quaternary type. Iodophor type
disinfectants are not recommended as staining may result.
Clean Velcro (attaches mattress to litter) by saturating with disinfectant and allowing it to
evaporate.
Cleaning Instructions for Rover Easy Access Top
Do not expose to temperatures higher than 140° F. Do not use window sprays, all-
purpose surface cleaners or abrasive scouring cleaners. Do not use any cleaner if
the label advises against use on acrylic plastics. Do not use solvents such as
acetone, gasoline, benzene, toluene, chlorinated hydrocarbons or lacquer thinner for
cleaning any acrylic products since these will permanently damage the acrylic surface.
Use a damp sponge or soft cloth with a mild soap or detergent solution.
Residue from adhesive tape may be removed with mineral spirits. Use with caution and
with strict attention to manufacturer’s directions. Any residual film left behind should be
washed off immediately.
Minor surface scratches can be removed using a good automotive cleaner/wax product.
Apply to scratched area with a clean, soft, slightly damp cotton cloth. Work the
compound into the surface with firm circular motions until almost dry. Allow to dry
completely, then buff with a clean, soft cotton cloth.
