29 •Inserire su ognuna delle due parti dell’assale che
fuoriescono dalle ruote una rondella grande e
una piccola. Fissare tutto con un dado. Nota: per
facilitare l’operazione di fissaggio, tenere fermo
con un utensile il dado opposto a quello che si
stà avvitando.
30 •Applicare a pressione i quattro tappi.
31 •Ruotare il fermo dietro la sella in posizione A (A:
sella sbloccata; B: sella bloccata).Togliere la sella.
32 •Collegare la spina della batteria alla spina
dell’impianto elettrico.
33 •Riposizionare la sella inserendo le linguette
anteriori nei fori della scocca. Chiuderla
ruotando il fermo dietro la sella in posizione B. Il
veicolo è pronto all’uso.
• NOTA IMPORTANTE: Prima di utilizzare il
veicolo per la prima volta, caricare la batteria.
CARATTERISTICHE E USO DEL VEICOLO
34 •LEVA CAMBIO. Il veicolo è dotato di 2 velocità
di marcia avanti e una retromarcia.
ATTENZIONE: quando viene estratto
dall’imballo, il veicolo viaggia solo in 1ª marcia e
in retro. Per poter utilizzare anche la 2ª velocità,
agire come descritto nelle figure successive.
35 •Svitare la vite del fermo.
36 •Ruotare il fermo sino alla successiva posizione.
37 •Riavvitare il fermo. Le marce ora sono tutte
disponibili.
38 •PEDALE ACCELERATORE/FRENO ELETTRICO.
Tenendo entrambe le mani sul manubrio,
premere sul pedale acceleratore. Il veicolo
viaggerà ad una velocità di 3,5 km/h (in 1ª
marcia) e a 7,4 km/h (in 2ª marcia).
• Sollevando il piede dal pedale, il freno entra in
funzione automaticamente arrestando il veicolo.
Nota: prima di utilizzare il pedale acceleratore,
eliminare il cartone di protezione.
39 •RETROMARCIA: a differenza delle due marce
avanti, la leva cambio in posizione retromarcia,
necessita di essere tenuta in posizione.Appena si
rilascia la leva, questa ritorna nella posizione 1ª
velocità. Per procedere in retromarcia spingere in
avanti la leva cambio e premere
contemporaneamente il pedale dell’acceleratore.
Completata la manovra, alzare il piede dal pedale
acceleratore e rilasciare la leva cambio.

40 •Aprire la sella, come descritto in precedenza.
Svitare la vite del fermabatteria. Estrarre il
fermabatteria.
41 •Scollegare la spina della batteria da quella
dell’impianto elettrico premendo le spine
lateralmente come mostrato in figura.
42 •Estrarre la batteria e sostituirla con la nuova.
Riposizionare il fermabatteria e riavvitare la vite.
Collegare le spine, riposizionare e fissare la sella.
CARICA DELLA BATTERIA

Scollegare la spina A dell' impianto elettrico dalla
spina B della batteria premendo lateralmente.
44 •Inserire la spina del caricabatterie ad una presa
domestica seguendo le sue istruzioni allegate.
Collegare la spina B con la spina C del
caricabatterie.
45 •A carica ultimata staccare il caricabatteria dalla
presa domestica, poi scollegare la spina C dalla
spina B.
46 •Inserire a fondo, fino allo scatto, la spina B nella
spina A.Ad operazioni ultimate ricordarsi sempre
di chiudere e fissare la sella.

to use the vehicle and teach your child to drive it
properly and safely while enjoying it at the same

Before using the vehicle for the first time, charge the
battery for 18 hours. Failure to do this could result in
irreparable damage to the battery.

DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY

Battery charging must be carried out and supervised
by adults only.
Do not allow children to play with the battery.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
• Charge the battery according to the instructions
enclosed with the battery charger and never for
more than 24 hours.
• To avoid damage, the battery should be charged as
soon as the vehicle starts to lose speed.
• If the vehicle is left unused for a long time,
remember to charge the battery and to keep it
disconnected from the electrical system. Repeat
the recharge procedure at least once every three
months.
• The battery must not be charged upside-down.
• Do not forget about the battery which is being
charged! Check it from time to time.
• Only use the battery charger provided and the
original PEG PEREGO battery.
• The battery is sealed and does not require
maintenance.
• Do not remove the battery charger from the
socket by pulling the cable.
• Do not move the toy by pulling the battery
charger cable.
• Do not cover the battery charger cable, as this
would cause it to overheat.
• Do not place the cable and/or battery on hot
surfaces.
• Take care on how and where you wrap the cable
to so as not to damage it or compromise its
operation.
WARNING
• THE BATTERY CONTAINS CORROSIVE TOXIC
SUBSTANCES.
DO NOT TAMPER WITH IT.
• The battery contains acid-based electrolytes.
• Do not create direct contact between the battery
terminals, avoid strong impacts: risk of explosion
and/or fire.
• While charging, the battery produces gas. Charge
the battery in a well-ventilated environment, away
from sources of heat and flammable materials.
• The flat battery must be removed from the vehicle.
• It is not advisable to bring the battery into contact
with clothes, as it could damage them.
• Only use batteries or accumulators of the
recommended kind.
IF THERE IS A BATTERY LEAK
Protect your eyes.Avoid direct contact with the
electrolyte. Protect your hands.
Put the battery in a plastic bag and follow the
instructions for battery disposal.
IF SKIN OR EYES COME INTO CONTACT WITH
THE ELECTROLYTE
Thoroughly rinse the area concerned with running
water.
Consult a doctor immediately.
IF THE ELECTROLYTE IS SWALLOWED
Rinse the mouth and spit out the water.
Consult a doctor immediately.
BATTERY WARNINGS
• Do not disassemble or try to repair the vehicle on
your own. Contact an authorised Peg Perego
customer support centre.
• The toy should not be left anywhere with a
temperature below 0°C. If it were to be used
without being warmed up to a temperature above
0°C, irreversible damage could be caused to the
motors and batteries.
• Check the condition of the vehicle regularly, paying
particular attention to the electrical system, the
plug connections, the terminal protectors and the
battery charger. If defects are identified, the
electrical vehicle and the battery charger must not
be used.
• Always disconnect the battery charger from the
toy before carrying out cleaning, maintenance, or
any type of intervention.
• For repairs use only original PEG PEREGO spare
parts.
• PEG PEREGO do not accept any responsibility for
cases of tampering with the electrical system.
• Do not leave the batteries or the vehicle close to
sources of heat like radiators, fireplaces, etc.
• Protect the vehicle from water, rain, snow, etc.
Using the vehicle on sand or mud may damage the
buttons, motors and gears.
• Lubricate moving parts like bearings, steering, etc.
periodically with light oil.
• The vehicle surfaces can be cleaned with a damp
cloth and, if necessary, with non-abrasive domestic
cleaning products.
• Cleaning must only be carried out by adults.
• Never dismantle the vehicle mechanisms or
motors, unless authorized by PEG PEREGO.
MAINTENANCE AND VEHICLE
CARE
For the safety of the child, before starting up the
vehicle read and carefully follow the following
instructions.
• Teach the child how to use the vehicle properly for
safe and enjoyable driving.
• The toy must be used with caution, as it requires
substantial dexterity in order to avoid falls or
collisions which could cause injuries to the user or
third parties.
• Before starting, check that there are no people or
objects obstructing the vehicle’s path.
• Drive with hands on the handlebars/steering wheel
and always watch the road ahead.
• Brake in good time to avoid collisions.
ATTENTION! The item is equipped with a brake
system which needs to be appropriately illustrated to
the child by an adult.
2nd GEAR (if present)
Initially, use in 1st gear is recommended. Before
enabling 2nd gear, check that the child has learned to
use the handlebars/steering wheel, 1st gear and the
brake correctly, and has become familiar with the
vehicle.
WARNING!
• Check that all the wheel fixing studs/nuts are
fastened properly.
• If the vehicle is overloaded, as can happen on soft
sand, mud, or very uneven ground, the overload
switch will immediately disconnect the power.The
power supply will be restored after a few seconds.
UNINTERRUPTED FUN: Keep a spare set of charged
batteries ready for use.
THE VEHICLE DOES NOT WORK?
• Check that there are no disconnected cables under
the accelerator plate.
• Check the operation of the accelerator button and
replace it if necessary.
• Check that the battery is connected to the
electrical system.
THE VEHICLE LACKS POWER?
• Charge the batteries. If after charging the problem
persists, have the battery and charger checked by
an assistance centre.

SCREWS AND SMALL PARTS ARE CONTAINED IN
A BAG INSIDE THE PACKAGING.THE BATTERY
MAY ALREADY BE FITTED INSIDE THE ITEM.
Do not use the toy if you find it damaged after
opening the packaging. Contact the shop where you
bought it or the customer support centre.
Take care in the presence of children while
assembling the toy, given the risks caused by small
parts (ingestion hazard) and the plastic bags that
contain them (choking hazard).
To assemble the toy, you will need a flat-head
screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver, a hammer, and a
pair of pliers.
ASSEMBLY
1 • To mount the upper section of the handlebar,
insert the two pins in the two holes on the iron
tube, taking care to direct it correctly (see next
figure).
2 • Figures A and B show the correct and incorrect
assembly of the components.
3 • Press the lower section of the handlebar into
place.
4 • Secure the two assembled components using the
two screws provided.
5 • Insert the handguards, taking care to insert the
handguard marked internally with the inscription
DX on the right hand side of the handlebar and
the one marked SX on the left hand side. Note:
the drawing shows the right-hand guard, marked
DX.
6 • Secure the handguards using the screws
provided.
7 • Use water and soap (or a light lubricant) to
moisten the inside of the rubber handles, to
facilitate their application onto the handlebar.The
handles may be fitted without distinction onto
the left and right hand side.
8 • Insert the key into the dashboard.The key is
purely for aesthetic purposes.
9 • Place the handlebar onto the steering bar,
ensuring the holes (A) are aligned with those on
the bar. Note: for ease of installation, place one
hand under the bodywork, level with the bar, to
avoid its descent.
10 •Secure the handlebar in place using the screw
and nut provided. Note: the nut is to be inserted
into the hexagonal hole, and the screw into the
circular one.
11 •Press the upper section of the gear lever into
place.
12 •Press the inner part of the suspensions into
place on the front section of the vehicle.
13 •Click one suspension into place level with the
fastening tongues. Repeat for the other
suspension. Note: the drawing shows the right-
hand suspension, marked DX.
14 •Hook the front bumper onto the bodywork at
position A.
15 •Secure the bumper to the frame using the two
screws provided.
16 •Place the exhaust pipe on the rear of the vehicle,
directing it as shown in the figure.
17 •Secure the exhaust pipe in place using the two
screws provided.
18 •Fasten the rear tail light on one side and rotate it
downwards.
19 •Remove the plastic plugs from the front axles.
20 •Insert a large washer on the left hand axle.
21 •Take the front left hand wheel, which is easily
recognisable as it is narrower and contains the
inscription SX on the inside.
22 •Slide the wheel onto the axle.
23 •Place a large and a small washer on the section
of the axle that projects beyond the wheel.
Tighten in place with a nut, using the wrench
• The presence of dangerous substances contained in
the electrical components of this product
represents a potential source of danger to human
health and for the environment if the products are
not disposed of correctly.
• The barred dustbin symbol indicates that the
product must undergo sorted waste collection.
DISPOSAL OF THE BATTERY
• Help protect the environment.
• Used batteries must not be disposed of with
domestic waste.
• They can be left at a used battery or special waste
collection centre. Contact your local authorities
for more information.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

provided. Repeat the same operations on the
right hand side, using the narrow wheel marked
DX.
24 •Remove the plastic plugs from the iron axle. Slip
the axle through the holes of the gearmotors.
25 •Take the rear right hand wheel, which is easily
recognisable as it contains the inscription DX on
the inside.
26 •Position the driver, aligning its pins with the holes
on the wheel.
27 •Slide the wheel onto the axle until the pentagon
on the gearmotor fits into the wheel.
28 •Position the remaining driver on the last wheel
and slide this onto the other side of the axle.
29 •Place a large and a small washer on each of the
two sections of the axle that project beyond the
wheels.Tighten in place with a nut. Note: for
ease of installation, use a wrench to keep the
opposite nut still while screwing in the first.
30 •Press the four plugs into place.
31 •Rotate the lock behind the saddle to position A
(A: saddle unlocked; B:saddle locked). Remove
the saddle.
32 •Connect the battery terminal to that of the
electrical system.
33 •Reposition the saddle, inserting the front tongues
into the holes on the bodywork. Lock it in place
by rotating the lock behind the saddle to
position B.The vehicle is now ready for use.
• IMPORTANT NOTE: Charge the battery fully
before using the first time.
VEHICLE FEATURES AND
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
34 •GEAR LEVER.The vehicle comes with two
forward gears and one reverse gear.WARNING:
when first removed from the packaging, the
vehicle only travels in one forward gear and in
reverse.To use the second gear, follow the
instructions below.
35 •Unscrew the lock.
36 •Rotate the lock to the next position.
37 •Screw the lock back in.All the gears are now
available.
38 •ELECTRICAL ACCELERATOR/BRAKE PEDAL.
With both hands on the handlebar, press on the
accelerator pedal.The vehicle will travel at a
speed of 3,5 km/h (in 1st gear) and 7,4 km/h (in
2nd gear).
• The brake engages automatically, bringing the
vehicle to a stop, when the foot is lifted off the
pedal. Note: remove the protective cardboard
before using the accelerator pedal.
39 •REVERSE GEAR: unlike the two forward gears,
the lever must be held in the reverse position in
order to drive in reverse.As soon as the lever is
released, it returns to 1st gear.To drive in
reverse, push the gear lever forwards and at the
same time press down on the accelerator pedal.
When the manoeuvre is complete, lift the foot
off the accelerator pedal and release the gear
lever.
REPLACING THE BATTERY
PLEASE NOTE:THE PICTURES OF THE BATTERIES

SHOWN.THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE
REPLACEMENT AND CHARGING PROCEDURES
DESCRIBED.
40 •Open the saddle as described above. Unscrew
the battery holder. Remove the battery holder.
41 •Disconnect the battery terminal from that of the
electrical system, pushing them sideways as
shown in the figure.
42 •Remove and replace the battery. Reposition the
battery holder and tighten the screw. Reconnect
the terminals. Reposition the saddle and lock it
back in place.
BATTERY RECHARGE
WARNING: BATTERY CHARGING AND EVERY
OTHER OPERATION ON THE ELECTRICAL
SYSTEM MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY ADULTS
ONLY.
THE BATTERY CAN ALSO BE CHARGED
WITHOUT REMOVING IT FROM THE TOY.
43 •Open the saddle as described above. Disconnect
the battery terminal (B) from that of the
electrical system (A), pushing them sideways.
44 •Plug the battery charger terminal into a wall
outlet following the instructions enclosed.
Connect terminal B to the battery charger
terminal C.
45 •Once charging is complete, unplug the charger
from the wall outlet, then unplug terminal C
from terminal B.
46 •Insert terminal B into terminal A, pushing until it
clicks. Once completed, always remember to
close and secure the saddle.
