After ANY adjustments, re air or service, and BEFORE use, make sure that all hardware is tightened securely
When working on wet surfaces lease use EXTREME caution.
Users with limited hysical ca abilities should be su ervised or assisted in bath and commode areas, even
when using Grab Bars.
Grab Bars are NOT designed to su ort the total weight of an individual. The use of this bar is for assistance
ONLY.
Be sure Grab Bars are correctly and securely installed
Never use grab bars if any art becomes loose.

Installation instructions: (Wood Stud Mounting)
• Please note that all screws MUST be mounted firmly into a wood stud.
• Locate the center of the stud by using a stud finder or other stud locating method. (Note: studs are
usually 16 inches a art.)
• Remove escutcheon from the Grab Bar base by gently ta ing from the back.

• Note: DO NOT LOOSEN the HEX BOLTS underneath the flange.

• Place the Grab Bar on the wall where desired so that the mounting holes are ositioned over a wood
stud. Use a level, if needed.

• With a encil, mark the mounting hole locations – exam le below:

• Remove the Grab Bar from the wall and carefully drill ilot holes as marked, make sure the holes are
drilled into the stud

• Install the Grab Bars with the accom anying screws; make sure the screws are secured tightly.

• Slide the escutcheons on the Grab Bar base to the mounting lates, and rotate them into same
alignment. If desired, a ly silicone caulking to the back of the escutcheon to rotect against water
enetration.

Note: Grab Bars are to be mounted to a secure surface. The manufacturer will not acce t res onsibility for any
and all damage caused by lack of wall strength or im ro er installation.

installation check your Grab Bar eriodically to ensure all screws are secure.
