Ground motor before connecting to electrical power supply.
Failure to ground motor can cause severe or fatal electrical shock
hazard.
Do not ground to a gas supply line.
To avoid dangerous or fatal electrical shock, turn OFF power to
motor before working on electrical connections.
Supply voltage must be within ±10% of nameplate voltage.
Incorrect voltage can cause fire or seriously damage motor and
voids warranty. If in doubt consult a licensed electrician.
Use wire size specified in Wiring Chart (above). If possible,
connect pump to a separate branch circuit with no other
appliances on it.
Wire motor according to diagram on motor nameplate. If
nameplate diagram differs from diagrams below, follow nameplate
diagram.
Not to be used by persons (including children) having diminished
capacity or a lack of experience unless they have been given
supervision or instruction.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
Only service agent or qualified person should replace power cord
to avoid injury.
A complete power disconnect switch must be incorporated in the
fixed wiring.
Pump not to be installed in Zone 1 or Zone 2 where hazardous
vapors and gasses are present.
Install, ground, wire and maintain your pump in compliance with all
applicable national and local codes and ordinances. Consult your
local building inspector for code information.
Pump not intended to be connected by hose sets.
