supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a

6. I stallatio
I serti g/Replaci g the Battery
The device contains a battery that powers the calendar/alarm function To
insert or replace the battery, proceed as follows:
1. Open the battery compartment [5]: turn the cover counter-clockwise

2. Insert a new 3 V CR2025 battery, with the + side facing up If you
install the battery correctly, the device starts playing a tune Press any
control button [4] to stop the sound
3. Place the battery cover back and turn it clockwise to close
Chargi g the I ter al Battery
The internal rechargeable battery powers the LED light Recharge the
battery when the LED light starts to fade Proceed as follows:
•Plug one end of the included USB cable into the light's USB port [7],
and plug the other end into a free USB port of your pc
The red indicator LED [6] lights up while the battery is charging When the
LED goes out, the battery is fully charged
Wall Mou ti g
You can place the light freestanding on a table or desk, or you can hang it
on a wall using the included mounting plate Proceed as follows:
1. Choose a safe mounting location where you cannot accidentally knock
the light off the wall
2. Fix the mounting plate [9] on the wall
3. Hook the notches in the light's base plate [8] over the protrusions on
the mounting plate
7. Operatio
7.1 Usi g the Light
1. Make sure that the internal battery is charged
2. Fold open the light and briefly touch the light switch [3] to switch on
the light
3. To dim the light, touch and hold the light switch until you get the
desired brightness
4. To increase the brightness, touch and hold the light switch again
5. To switch off:
oTouch the light switch
oFold up the light
7.2 Temperature
The display shows the ambient temperature in °C or °F To switch between
°C and °F, press the DOWN button [4]
7.3 Cale dar
To set the date and time, proceed as follows:
1. Press the UP button [4] to switch between 12 or 24-hour display
mode Note: in 12-hour display mode, the PM indicator appears on the
display in the afternoon

2. Press SET to enter setting mode The hour indication flashes on the
display
3. Use UP and DOWN to set the hour, then press SET to confirm and
move to the next setting
4. Repeat to set minutes, year, month, and day Note: although the year
does not appear on the display, it is required to display the correct
name of the day (MON, TUE…)
5. Press MODE to exit the setting mode
7.4 Alarm Clock
You can use the LED light as an alarm clock At the set alarm time, the
alarm sounds and you can enter snooze mode You can set the length of the
snooze interval, or switch off the snooze function completely Furthermore,
you can choose from various alarm tunes
Alarm Setti gs
To set up the alarm, proceed as follows:
1. Press MODE to enter the alarm mode The alarm icon appears on
the display
2. Press SET to enter setting mode The hour indication flashes on the
display
3. Use UP and DOWN to set the alarm hour, then press SET to confirm
and move to the next setting
4. Repeat to set the alarm minutes, the snooze interval (1–60 minutes),
and the alarm tune
5. Press MODE to exit the setting mode

Note: the alarm works even if you fold up the light
To use the alarm clock, proceed as follows:
1. Press MODE to enter the alarm mode The alarm icon appears on
the display
2. Press UP repeatedly to select the desired mode Icons on the display
indicate the selected options The options are listed below:

The alarm is active and will sound at the set alarm time The
snooze function is disabled When the alarm goes off, press any
control button to stop the alarm
The alarm and snooze function are active The alarm will sound at
the set alarm time
•To enter snooze mode, press any control button when the
alarm sounds The snooze icon flashes on the display The
alarm will sound again after the set snooze interval
•To stop the alarm, press MODE and then press UP repeatedly
