an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
•Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual
is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will not accept
responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
•Do not switch the device on immediately after it has been exposed
to changes in temperature. Protect the device against damage by
leaving it switched off until it has reached room temperature.

6. Batteries
1. Unscrew the nightlight from the flashlight.
2. Take out the battery holder from the flashlight.
3. Install the batteries in the holder according to the correct polarity.
4. Insert the battery-loaded holder back in the flashlight and close.
Warning: Do not puncture batteries or throw them in
fire as they may explode. Do not attempt to recharge
non-rechargeable batteries (alkaline). Dispose of
batteries in accordance with local regulations. Keep
batteries away from children.
7. Operation
7.1 Charging
Inductive charging of the batteries could not be easier:
1. Make sure the flashlight is loaded with rechargeable batteries
only.
2. Insert the charger into the mains.
3. Insert the flashlight into the charger. Charging will automatically
stop.
7.2 Torch
1. Take the flashlight out of the charger.
2. Press the on-off button to switch on the flashlight.
3. Select the brightness (100 % > 50 % > 20 %) with the mode
button.
4. Switch off the flashlight after use. Install the flashlight in the
charger if necessary.
7.3 Nightlight
1. Install the flashlight into the charger.
2. Switch on the flashlight. The nightlight will switch on with an
ambient light under 10 lux.
3. Switch off after use.
7.4 Emergency Light
1. Install the flashlight into the charger.
2. The flashlight will automatically switch on in case of a power outage.
3. Switch off after use.

8. Cleaning and Maintenance
The flashlight does not need any particular maintenance. However, it
is advisable to clean it occasionally to keep it looking like new.
Use a soft, moist cloth and some mild soap. Never use solvents or
strong, abrasive cleaning agents.

1. Inleiding

3. Algemene richtlijnen
Raadpleeg de Velleman® service- en kwaliteitsgarantie
achteraan deze handleiding.
Bescherm het toestel tegen stof en extreme
temperaturen.
Bescherm tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de
bediening van het toestel.
•Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat
gebruiken.
•Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen.
Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan
het toestel valt niet onder de garantie.
•Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. De garantie
vervalt automatisch bij ongeoorloofd gebruik.
•De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde
richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de
verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier
rechtstreeks verband mee houden.
•Schakel het toestel niet onmiddellijk in nadat het werd
blootgesteld aan temperatuurschommelingen. Om beschadiging te
vermijden, moet u wachten tot het toestel de kamertemperatuur
heeft bereikt.
•Bewaar deze handleiding voor verdere raadpleging.

1. Schroef de nachtlamp los van de zaklamp.
2. Neem de batterijhouder uit de zaklamp.
3. Plaats de batterijen in de houder volgens de aangegeven
polariteit.
4. Plaats de houder terug in de zaklamp en sluit.
Waarschuwing: U mag batterijen nooit doorboren of
in het vuur gooien (explosiegevaar). Herlaad geen
alkalinebatterijen. Gooi batterijen weg volgens de
plaatselijke milieuwetgeving. Houd batterijen buiten het
bereik van kinderen.
7. Gebruik
7.1 Opladen
Inductief opladen van de batterijen is eenvoudig:
1. Gebruik enkel herlaadbare batterijen.
2. Sluit het laadstation aan op het lichtnet.
3. Plaats het toestel in het laadstation. Het opladen stopt
automatisch.
7.2 Zaklamp
1. Neem de zaklamp uit het laadstation.
2. Druk op de aan/uit-knop om de zaklamp in te schakelen.
3. Selecteer de helderheid (100 % > 50 % > 20 %) met de
modusknop.
4. Schakel de zaklamp uit na gebruik. Indien nodig, plaats de
zaklamp in het laadstation.

7.3 Nachtlamp
1. Plaats de zaklamp in het laadstation.
2. Schakel de zaklamp in. De nachtlamp schakelt automatisch in bij
een omgevingslicht van minder dan 10 lux.
3. Schakel uit na gebruik.
7.4 Noodlamp
1. Plaats de zaklamp in het laadstation.
2. De zaklamp schakelt automatisch in bij stroomuitval.
3. Schakel uit na gebruik.
8. Reiniging en onderhoud
Het toestel vereist geen bijzonder onderhoud. Het is echter aan te
raden om het toestel regelmatig te reinigen om het er als nieuw te
laten uitzien.
Gebruik een zachte, vochtige doek en een milde zeep. Gebruik nooit
oplosmiddelen of bijtende reinigingsmiddelen.

Protéger l’appareil des chocs et de l'abus. Traiter l'appareil
avec circonspection pendant l’opération.
•Se familiariser avec le fonctionnement de l'appareil avant de
l'utiliser.
•Toute modification est interdite pour des raisons de sécurité. Les
dommages occasionnés par des modifications par le client ne
tombent pas sous la garantie.
•N’utiliser l'appareil qu’à sa fonction prévue. Un usage impropre
annule d'office la garantie.
•La garantie ne s’applique pas aux dommages survenus en
négligeant certaines directives de ce mode d'emploi et votre
revendeur déclinera toute responsabilité pour les problèmes et les
défauts qui en résultent.
•Ne pas brancher immédiatement l’appareil après exposition à des
variations de température. Afin d’éviter des dommages, attendre
jusqu’à ce que l’appareil ait atteint la température ambiante.

6. Piles
1. Dévisser la veilleuse de la lampe torche.
2. Retirer le support de piles de la lampe torche.
3. Installer les piles dans le support en respectant la polarité.
4. Réinsérer le support de piles dans la lampe torche et fermer.
Avertissement : Ne jamais perforer les piles et ne pas
les jeter au feu (danger d’explosion). Ne jamais
recharger des piles alcalines. Se débarrasser des piles
en respectant la réglementation locale relative à la
protection de l’environnement. Garder les piles hors de
la portée des enfants.
7. Emploi
7.1 Charger
Le chargement par induction des piles est très simple :
1. Veiller à n'utiliser que des piles rechargeables.
2. Brancher la station de recharge sur une prise secteur.
3. Placer la lampe torche dans la station de recharge. La charge
s’arrête automatiquement

7.2 Lampe torche
1. Retirer la lampe torche de la station de recharge.
2. Appuyer sur le bouton on-off pour allumer le mètre.
3. Sélectionner la luminosité (100 % > 50 % > 20 %) avec le
bouton mode.
4. Eteindre la lampe torche après usage. Si nécessaire, Installer la
lampe torche dans la station de recharge.
7.3 Veilleuse
1. Installer la lampe torche dans la station de recharge.
2. Allumer la lampe torche. La veilleuse s'allume lorsque la lumière
ambiante est inférieure à 10 flux.
3. Éteindre après usage.
7.4 Lampe de secours
1. Installer la lampe torche dans la station de recharge.
2. La lampe torche s'allume automatiquement en cas d'une panne
de courant.
3. Éteindre après usage.
8. Nettoyage et entretien
L'appareil ne nécessite aucun maintien particulier. Toutefois, il est
conseillé de le nettoyer régulièrement pour conserver l'aspect neuf.
Utiliser un chiffon doux humecté et un peu de détergent doux. Ne
jamais utiliser de solvants ou de détergents agressifs.

1. Desatornille la lamparilla de la linterna.
2. Quite el portapilas de la linterna.
3. Introduzca las baterías en el portapilas. Respete la polaridad.
4. Vuelva a introducir el portapilas en la linterna y ciérrela.
Advertencia: Nunca perfore las pilas y no las eche al
fuego (peligro de explosión). Nunca recargue pilas no
recargables (alcalinas). Respete las leyes locales en
relación con el medio ambiente al tirar las pilas.
Mantenga las pilas lejos del alcance de niños.
7. Funcionamiento
7.1 Recargar
La carga inductiva es muy sencilla:
1. Asegúrese de que haya introducido sólo baterías recargables.
2. Enchufe el cargador a una toma eléctrica adecuada.
3. Ponga la linterna en el cargador. La carga se desactiva
automáticamente.
7.2 Linterna
1. Quite la linterna del cargador.
2. Pulse el botón ON/OFF para activar la linterna.
3. Seleccione el brillo (100 % > 50 % > 20 %) con el botón de
modo.
4. Desactive la linterna después del uso. Si fuera necesario,
introduzca la linterna en el cargador.

7.3 Lamparilla
1. Ponga la linterna en el cargador.
2. Desactive la linterna. La lamparilla se activará en cuanto la luz
ambiental sea inferior a 10 lux.
3. Desactive el aparato después del uso.
7.4 Linterna de emergencia
1. Ponga la linterna en el cargador.
2. La linterna se activará automáticamente en caso de interrupción
del suministro eléctrico.
3. Desactive el aparato después del uso.
8. Limpieza y mantenimiento
El aparato no necesita mantenimiento especial. Sin embargo, es
conveniente limpiar de vez en cuando para mantener su aspecto
como nuevo.
Utilice un paño suave y húmedo con un poco de jabón suave. Nunca
utilice disolventes y productos de limpieza muy abrasivos.
