These instructions explain how to correctly use your equipment. Only certain techniques and
uses are described.
The warning symbols inform you of some potential dangers related to the use of your
equipment, but it is impossible to describe them all. Check Petzl.com for updates and
additional information.
You are responsible for heeding each warning and using your equipment correctly. Any misuse
of this equipment will create additional dangers. Contact Petzl if you have any doubts or
difficulty understanding these instructions.
1. Field of application
Personal protective equipment (PPE) for the head, for protection against falling objects.
Helmet for climbing, mountaineering, and other vertical sports using similar techniques.
Do not use this helmet in activities for which it is not designed.
Wearing a helmet can significantly reduce the risk of head injury, but does not ensure
protection against all impacts.
In a major impact, the helmet deforms to absorb the maximum amount of energy possible,
sometimes to the point of breaking the helmet.
This product must not be pushed beyond its limits, nor be used for any purpose other than
that for which it is designed.
Responsibility
WARNING
Activities involving the use of this equipment are inherently dangerous.
You are responsible for your own actions, decisions and safety.
Before using this equipment, you must:
- Read and understand all Instructions for Use.
- Get specific training in its proper use.
- Become acquainted with its capabilities and limitations.
- Understand and accept the risks involved.
Failure to heed any of these warnings may result in severe injury or death.
This product must only be used by competent and responsible persons, or those placed under
the direct and visual control of a competent and responsible person.
You are responsible for your actions, your decisions and your safety and you assume the
consequences of same. If you are not able, or not in a position to assume this responsibility, or
if you do not fully understand the Instructions for Use, do not use this equipment.
2. Nomenclature

Principal materials: acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) shell, expanded polypropylene (EPP)
liner, expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner.
3. Inspection, points to verify
Your safety depends upon the integrity of your equipment.
Petzl recommends a detailed inspection by a competent person at least once every 12
months (depending on current regulations in your country, and your conditions of usage).
Warning: your intensity of use may cause you to inspect your PPE more frequently. Follow the
procedures described at Petzl.com. Record the results on your PPE inspection form: type,
model, manufacturer contact info, serial number or individual number, dates: manufacture,
purchase, first use, next periodic inspection; problems, comments, inspector’s name and
signature.
Before each use
Before each use, check the condition of the shell and liners (no cracks or deformation on the
inside or outside), of the straps, of the stitching, of the headband attachment system, and
check that the headband adjustment system and chinstrap buckle are working properly.
BEWARE of foreign objects (dust, sand, hair...) that can prevent the buckle from fastening. If
necessary, clean this area.
WARNING: a major impact to the helmet can reduce its protective properties (impact
absorption, strength) without leaving visible signs of damage. Retire your helmet after a major
impact.
During use
It is important to regularly monitor the condition of the product and its connections to the other
equipment in the system. Make sure that all items of equipment are correctly positioned with
respect to each other.
4. How to put on and adjust the helmet
To ensure adequate protection, this helmet must be adjusted to properly fit the user’s head.
See the diagrams on adjustment and the function test.
Do not use this helmet if you are unable to adjust it to fit properly. Replace it with a different
size or model of helmet.
5. Precautions for use
Do not sit on the helmet, pack it too tightly, drop it, allow it to come into contact with sharp
or pointed objects...
Do not expose your helmet to high temperatures, for example by leaving it inside a vehicle in
direct sunlight.
- Do not apply paints, solvents, adhesives (except water-based adhesives) to your helmet.
- Certain chemicals, especially solvents, can damage your helmet. Protect your helmet from
exposure to these types of chemicals.
- Warning: modifying or removing any original component, unless directed to do so by the
manufacturer’s instructions, will damage the helmet. Avoid using any helmet that has item(s)
attached to it, except as recommended by the helmet manufacturer.
- WARNING: this helmet should not be used in situations where there is a risk of strangulation
or hanging: there is a risk of getting caught on the helmet chinstrap.
6. Additional information
This product meets the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on personal protective
equipment. The EU declaration of conformity is available at Petzl.com.
When to retire your equipment:
WARNING: an exceptional event can lead you to retire a product after only one use, depending
on the type and intensity of usage and the environment of usage (harsh environments, marine
environments, sharp edges, extreme temperatures, chemicals...).
A product must be retired when:
- It is over 10 years old and made of plastic or textiles.
- It has been subjected to a major fall or load.
- It fails to pass inspection. You have any doubt as to its reliability.
- You do not know its full usage history.
- When it becomes obsolete due to changes in legislation, standards, technique or
incompatibility with other equipment...
Destroy these products to prevent further use.

2. Nomenclature

3. Contrôle, points à vérifier
Votre sécurité est liée à l’intégrité de votre équipement.
Petzl conseille une vérification approfondie, par une personne compétente, au minimum tous
les 12 mois (en fonction de la réglementation en vigueur dans votre pays et de vos conditions
d’utilisation). Attention, l’intensité de votre usage peut vous amener à vérifier plus fréquemment
votre EPI. Respectez les modes opératoires décrits sur le site Petzl.com. Enregistrez les
résultats sur la fiche de vie de votre EPI : type, modèle, coordonnées du fabricant, numéro de
série ou numéro individuel, dates : fabrication, achat, première utilisation, prochains examens
périodiques, défauts, remarques, nom et signature du contrôleur.
Avant toute utilisation
Avant toute utilisation, vérifiez l’état de la coque, des calotins (absence de fissures,
déformations à l’extérieur ou à l’intérieur), des sangles, des coutures, du système de fixation
du tour de tête, du fonctionnement du réglage du tour de tête et de la boucle de la jugulaire.
ATTENTION aux corps étrangers (poussière, sable, cheveux...) qui peuvent gêner la fermeture
de la boucle. Si besoin, nettoyez cette zone.
ATTENTION, après un choc important, des ruptures internes non apparentes peuvent diminuer
la capacité d’absorption et la résistance du casque. Mettez votre casque au rebut après un
choc important.
Pendant l’utilisation
Il est important de contrôler régulièrement l’état du produit et de ses connexions avec les
autres équipements du système. Assurez-vous du bon positionnement des équipements les
uns par rapport aux autres.
4. Mise en place et réglages du casque
Afin d’assurer une protection convenable, ce casque doit être adapté ou ajusté à la taille de
la tête de l’utilisateur.
Voir schémas de réglage et test fonctionnel.
N’utilisez pas ce casque si vous ne parvenez pas à l’ajuster correctement. Remplacez-le par
un casque d’une taille ou d’un modèle différent.
5. Précautions d’usage
Ne vous asseyez pas sur le casque, ne le comprimez pas dans le sac, ne le laissez pas
tomber, ne le mettez pas en contact avec des objets pointus ou coupants...
N’exposez pas votre casque à des températures élevées, par exemple en plein soleil dans
une voiture.
- N’appliquez pas de peintures, solvants, adhésifs (sauf adhésif à base aqueuse) sur votre
casque.
- Certains produits chimiques, en particulier les solvants, altèrent les qualités physiques de
votre casque. Protégez votre casque de ce type de produits chimiques.
- L’attention des utilisateurs est également attirée sur le fait que modifier ou ôter l’un des
composants originels, en dehors des indications fournies par le fabricant, endommage le
casque. Il convient d’éviter d’utiliser ce casque avec des fixations ne figurant pas dans les
recommandations du fabricant.
- ATTENTION, il est déconseillé d’utiliser ce casque dans des situations présentant un risque
de strangulation ou de pendaison : il y a risque de rester accroché par le casque.
6. Informations complémentaires
Ce produit est conforme au règlement (UE) 2016/425 relatif aux équipements de protection

Mise au rebut :
ATTENTION, un événement exceptionnel peut vous conduire à rebuter un produit après une
seule utilisation (type et intensité d’utilisation, environnements d’utilisation : milieux agressifs,
milieux marins, arêtes coupantes, températures extrêmes, produits chimiques...).
Un produit doit être rebuté quand :
- Il a plus de 10 ans et est composé de plastique ou de textile.
- Il a subi une chute ou un effort important.
- Le résultat des vérifications du produit n’est pas satisfaisant. Vous avez un doute sur sa
fiabilité.
- Vous ne connaissez pas son historique complet d’utilisation.
- Quand son usage est obsolète (évolution législative, normative, technique ou incompatibilité
avec d’autres équipements...).
Détruisez ces produits pour éviter une future utilisation.

1. Anwendungsbereich
Persönliche Schutzausrüstung (PSA) zum Schutz des Kopfes gegen herabfallende
Gegenstände.
Helm zum Klettern, Bergsteigen und für andere vertikale Aktivitäten, bei denen ähnliche
Techniken zum Einsatz kommen.
Verwenden Sie diesen Helm nicht für Aktivitäten, für die er nicht entwickelt wurde.
Durch das Tragen eines Helmes wird das Risiko einer Kopfverletzung zwar deutlich reduziert,
er kann jedoch nicht vor allen Schlägen und Stößen schützen.
Im Falle eines extremen Schlags muss der Helm ein Maximum an Energie absorbieren. Dies
geschieht durch Verformung, was unter Umständen bis zum Bruch des Helms führen kann.
Dieses Produkt darf nicht über seine Grenzen hinaus belastet werden. Es darf ausschließlich zu
dem Zweck verwendet werden, für den es entwickelt wurde.

2. Benennung der Teile

3. Überprüfung, zu kontrollierende Punkte
Ihre Sicherheit hängt vom Zustand Ihrer Ausrüstung ab.
Petzl empfiehlt, mindestens alle 12 Monate (entsprechend den in Ihrem Land geltenden
Vorschriften und den Nutzungsbedingungen) eine eingehende Überprüfung durch eine
kompetente Person durchführen zu lassen. Achtung: Abhängig von der Gebrauchsintensität
muss Ihre PSA gegebenenfalls häufiger überprüft werden. Bitte beachten Sie die auf Petzl.
com beschriebenen Vorgehensweisen. Tragen Sie die Ergebnisse in den Prüfbericht Ihrer PSA
ein: Typ, Modell, Kontaktinformation des Herstellers, Seriennummer oder individuelle Nummer,
Daten: Herstellung, Kauf, erste Anwendung, nächste regelmäßige Überprüfung, Probleme,
Bemerkungen, Name und Unterschrift des Prüfers.
Vor jedem Einsatz
Stellen Sie vor jeder Verwendung sicher, dass Helmschale und Innenschalen an der Außen-
und Innenseite keine Risse oder Deformierungen aufweisen, dass Riemen, Nähte und das
Befestigungssystem für das Kopfband unbeschädigt sind und dass das Einstellsystem für das
Kopfband und die Kinnschnalle einwandfrei funktioniert.
ACHTUNG: Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Schließen der Schnalle nicht durch Fremdkörper
(Staub, Sand, Haare usw.) behindert wird. Falls nötig, reinigen Sie die Stelle.
WARNUNG: Ein schwerer Schlag kann den Helm so beschädigen, dass dessen
Schutzeigenschaften beträchtlich eingeschränkt sind und dies für das bloße Auge nicht
sichtbar ist. Sondern Sie Ihren Helm nach einem solchen Zwischenfall aus.
Während des Gebrauchs
Es ist unerlässlich, den Zustand des Produkts und seiner Verbindungen mit anderen
Ausrüstungsgegenständen im System regelmäßig zu überprüfen. Stellen Sie stets sicher, dass
die einzelnen Ausrüstungsgegenstände im System richtig zueinander positioniert sind.
4. Vorbereitung und Einstellung des Helms
Um einen angemessenen Schutz zu gewährleisten, muss der Helm der Kopfgröße des
Anwenders angepasst und entsprechend eingestellt werden.
Siehe Abbildungen bezüglich Einstellung und Funktionstest.
Benutzen Sie diesen Helm nicht, wenn Sie ihn nicht korrekt einstellen können. Tauschen Sie
ihn in diesem Fall gegen eine andere Größe oder ein anderes Modell aus.
5. Vorsichtsmaßnahmen
Setzen Sie sich nicht auf den Helm, stopfen Sie ihn nicht gewaltsam in den Rucksack, lassen
Sie ihn nicht fallen und halten Sie spitze oder scharfe Gegenstände usw. fern.
Setzen Sie den Helm nicht extremer Hitze aus (z. B. in einem in der Sonne geparkten Auto).
- Wenden Sie keine Farben, Lösungsmittel und Klebstoffe (ausgenommen wasserbasierte
Klebstoffe) auf dem Helm an.
- Bestimmte Chemikalien, vor allem Lösungsmittel, können den Helm beschädigen und seine
Schutzeigenschaften vermindern. Lassen Sie den Helm nicht mit dieser Art von Chemikalien
in Berührung kommen.
- Die Anwender werden ebenfalls darauf hingewiesen, dass vom Hersteller nicht ausdrücklich
gestattete Änderungen sowie das Entfernen von Originalteilen zur Beschädigung des
Helms führen. Der Helm sollte ausschließlich mit den vom Hersteller empfohlenen
Befestigungssystemen verwendet werden.
- WARNUNG: Es wird davon abgeraten, diesen Helm in Situationen zu tragen, die ein
Strangulations- oder Erhängungsrisiko bergen: Es besteht das Risiko, mit dem Helm hängen
zu bleiben.
6. Zusätzliche Informationen
Das Produkt entspricht der PSA-Verordnung (EU) 2016/425. Die EU-Konformitätserklärung ist

Aussondern von Ausrüstung:
ACHTUNG: Außergewöhnliche Umstände können die Aussonderung eines Produkts
nach einer einmaligen Anwendung erforderlich machen (Art und Intensität der Benutzung,
Anwendungsbereich: aggressive Umgebungen, Meeresklima, scharfe Kanten, extreme
Temperaturen, Chemikalien usw.).
In folgenden Fällen muss ein Produkt ausgesondert werden:
- Wenn es mehr als 10 Jahre alt ist (Kunststoff- und Textilprodukte).
- Es wurde einem schweren Sturz oder einer schweren Belastung ausgesetzt.

1.用途
本製品は落下物からの頭部の保護を目的として使用する個人保護用
具 (PPE) です。
クライミングやマウンテニアリング、またそれらと同様の技術を用いる
アクティビティーに使用するヘルメットです。
この製品は、本来の用途以外の目的で使用しないでください。
ヘルメットを着用することで頭部を負傷する危険を大きく減らすことが
できますが、全ての衝撃から保護することはできません。
大きな衝撃がかかった時、ヘルメットは変形することにより可能な限り
衝撃を吸収します (破壊点に至るまで変形することもあります)。
本製品の限界を超えるような使用をしないでください。また、本来の用
途以外での使用はしないでください。

これらの注意事項を無視または軽視すると、重度の傷害や死につ
ながる場合があります。
この製品は使用方法を熟知していて責任能力のある人、あるいはそ
れらの人から目の届く範囲で直接指導を受けられる人のみ使用して
ください。
ユーザー各自が自身の行為、判断、および安全の確保について責任を
負い、またそれによって生じる結果についても責任を負うこととします。
各自で責任がとれない場合や、その立場にない場合、また取扱説明書
の内容を理解できない場合は、この製品を使用しないでください。

3.点検のポイント
器具の状態は、ユーザーの安全に大きく関係します。
ペツルは、十分な知識を持つ適任者による詳細点検を、少なくとも 12
ヶ月ごとに行うことをお勧めします (国や地域における法規や、使用状
態によっても変わります)。警告: 使用頻度によっては、より頻繁に個人
保護用具 (PPE) を点検する必要があります。Petzl.com で説明されてい
る方法に従って点検してください。個人保護用具 (PPE) の点検結果を
点検フォームに記録してください: 種類、モデル、製造者の連絡先、個別
番号、製造日、購入日、初回使用時の日付、次回点検予定日、問題点、コ
メント、点検者の名前および署名。
毎回、使用前に
毎回、使用の前にシェルやライナーの状態 (内側および外側にひび割
れや変形等がないこと)、ストラップとその縫製部分の状態、ヘッドバン
ドとシェルの接続部分の状態に問題がないことを確認してください。ま
た、ヘッドバンドの各調節機能およびあご紐調節バックルが正しく機能
することを確認してください。
バックルの間にほこり、砂、髪の毛等の異物が挟まると、適切に閉じな
い場合があるので注意してください。必要に応じて、この部分をクリー
ニングしてください。
警告: 大きな衝撃を受けた後は、目視では確認できない内部に生じた
損傷により、ヘルメットの保護機能 (衝撃吸収力、強度) が低下する場合
があります。大きな衝撃を受けた後は、製品を廃棄してください。
使用中の注意点
この製品および併用する器具 (連結している場合は連結部を含む) に
常に注意を払い、状態を確認してください。全ての構成器具が正しくセ
ットされていることを確認してください。
4.ヘルメットの装着および調節方法
保護機能を発揮するためには、ユーザーの頭部に適切にフィットするよ
うヘルメットを調節しなければなりません。
調節および機能の確認方法については、図を参照してください。
適切にフィットさせることができない場合、この製品は使用しないでく
ださい。他のモデルや違うサイズのものを選択してください。
5.使用上の注意
ヘルメットの上に座る、ザックの中に無理に詰め込む、落とす、尖ったも
のと接触させる等しないようにしてください。
ヘルメットは、直射日光があたる車内に放置する等、高温にさらさな
いでください。
- 塗料、溶剤、接着剤 (水性接着剤は除く) は使用しないでください
- 化学薬品、特に溶剤はヘルメットに悪影響を及ぼしヘルメットの保
護機能を低下させます。ヘルメットが化学薬品に触れないようにして

- 警告: 製造者の取扱説明書により認められている場合を除き、製品の
改変またはパーツの取り外しはヘルメットを損傷させます。製造者が推
奨していないアイテムが付いたヘルメットは使用しないでください。
- 警告: ストラップで頸部が締め付けられたり、吊り下げられたりする危
険がある状況では使用しないでください: ヘルメットのあご紐により吊
られる危険があります。
6.補足情報
本製品は個人保護用具に関する規則 (EU) 2016/425 に適合していま
す。EU 適合宣言書は Petzl.com で確認できます。
廃棄基準:
警告: 極めて異例な状況においては、１回の使用で損傷が生じ、その後
使用不可能になる場合があります (劣悪な使用環境、海に近い環境で
の使用、鋭利な角との接触、極端な高 / 低温下での使用や保管、化学
薬品との接触等)。
以下のいずれかに該当する製品は以後使用しないでください:
- プラスチック製品または繊維製品で、製造日から 10 年以上経過した
- 大きな墜落を止めた、あるいは非常に大きな荷重がかかった
- 点検において使用不可と判断された。製品の状態に疑問がある
- 完全な使用履歴が分からない
- 該当する規格や法律の変更、新しい技術の発達、また他の器具との併
用に適さない等の理由で、使用には適さないと判断された
このような製品は、以後使用されることを避けるため廃棄してくださ

1. Rozsah použití
Tento výrobek je osobní ochranný prostředek (OOP) pro hlavu, používaný při ochraně proti
padajícím předmětům.
Přilba pro horolezectví, alpinismus a ostatní vertikální sporty využívající podobné techniky.
Nepoužívejte výrobek pro činnosti, ke kterým není určen.
Používání přilby významně sníží riziko úrazu hlavy, ale nezaručuje ochranu proti všem nárazům.
Při větším nárazu se přilba deformuje, aby pohltila co možná největší množství energie. Někdy
až tak, že dojde k jejímu úplnému prasknutí.
Zatížení tohoto výrobku nesmí překročit uvedenou hodnotu pevnosti, výrobek nesmí být
používán jiným způsobem, než pro který je určen.

Před používáním tohoto výrobku je nutné:

Použité materiály: akrylonitril butadin styrenová (ABS) skořepina, výstelka ze vstřikovaného
polypropylenu (EPP), výstelka ze vstřikovaného polystyrenu (EPS).
3. Prohlídka, kontrolní body
Vaše bezpečnost závisí na neporušenosti vašeho vybavení.
Petzl doporučuje hloubkové revize odborně způsobilou osobou nejméně jedenkrát za 12
měsíců (v závislosti na aktuální legislativě ve vaší zemi, a na podmínkách použití). Upozornění:
intenzita vašeho používání může způsobit to, že bude potřeba častěji provádět revize OOP.
Postupujte dle kroků uvedených na Petzl.com. Výsledky revize zaznamenejte ve vašem
formuláři pro revize OOP: typ, model, kontakt na výrobce, sériové nebo kusové číslo, datum:
výroby, prodeje, prvního použití, další periodické revize; problémy, poznámky, jméno a podpis
inspektora.
Před každým použitím
Před každým použitím zkontrolujte stav skořepiny a výstelek (žádné praskliny nebo deformace
na vnitřní nebo vnější straně), popruhů a švů, systému připojení hlavového pásku, a zkontrolujte
jestli nastavovací systém hlavového pásku a přezka podbradního pásku správně fungují.
POZOR na cizí předměty (prach, písek, vlasy...), které mohou zabránit uzavření přezky. Pokud
je to nutné tuto plochu očistěte.
UPOZORNĚNÍ: tvrdý náraz do přilby může snížit její ochranné vlastnosti (pohlcení rázu,
pevnost) aniž by zanechal viditelné známky poškození. Po velkém nárazu ji neprodleně vyřaďte.
Během používání
Je důležité pravidelně kontrolovat stav výrobku a jeho spojení s ostatními prvky systému. Vždy
se přesvědčte, jsou-li všechny součásti systému navzájem ve správné poloze.
4. Nasazení a nastavení přilby
Aby byla zaručena odpovídající ochrana, musí být přilba správně nastavena a posazena na
hlavě.
Viz nákresy nastavení a zkouška velikosti.
Nepoužívejte přilbu pokud nejste schopni ji nastavit tak, aby správně padla. Vyměňte ji za přilbu
jiné velikosti, či jiný model.
5. Bezpečnostní opatření
Na přilbu nesedejte, nabalte ji tak, aby na ni působil tlak, zabraňte jejímu pádu, kontaktu s
ostrými a špičatými předměty, apod.
Nevystavujte ji vysokým teplotám, např. ve vozidle zaparkovaném na přímém slunci.
- Na vaši přilbu nepoužívejte barvu, lepidlo nebo nálepky (kromě vodních nálepek).
- Některé chemikálie, zejména rozpouštědla, mohou vaši přilbu poškodit. Chraňte přilbu před
stykem s chemikáliemi.
- Upozornění: uživatele tímto varujeme, že upravování nebo odstraňování originálních
komponentů, pokud to není přímo uvedeno v návodu výrobce, poškodí vaši přilbu. Vyhněte se
používání přileb s adaptéry, které nejsou doporučeny výrobcem.
- UPOZORNĚNÍ: tato přilba by neměla být používána v situacích, při kterých hrozí nebezpečí
škrcení nebo zavěšení: je zde riziko zachycení za podbradní pásek přilby.
6. Doplňkové informace
Tento produkt splňuje Nařízení (EU) 2016/425 o osobních ochranných prostředcích. Prohlášení

Kdy vaše vybavení vyřadit:
UPOZORNĚNÍ: některé výjimečné situace mohou způsobit okamžité vyřazení výrobku již
po prvním použití, to závisí na druhu, intenzitě a prostředí ve kterém je výrobek používán
(znečištěné prostředí, mořské prostředí, ostré hrany, vysoké teploty, chemikálie, atd.).
Výrobek musí být vyřazen pokud:
- Je starší než 10 let a vyroben z plastu nebo textilií.
- Byl vystaven těžkému pádu nebo velkému zatížení.
- Neprojde periodickou prohlídkou. Máte jakékoliv pochybnosti o jeho spolehlivosti.
- Neznáte jeho úplnou historii používání.
- Se stane zastaralým vzhledem k legislativě, normám, technikám nebo slučitelnosti s ostatním
vybavením, atd.
