PFEIFFER LAZY JACK SYSTEM II
Dear customer,
t ank you very muc for your purc ase of one of our Pfeiffer Marine products!
Your dealer or shi yard will surely install the system rofessionally for you. If you are a skilled ski er and wish
to install the unit yourself, the following installation and o erating instructions will hel you to install the unit and
use it for the first time. Therefore, lease read these assembly and o erating instructions com letely first and act
according to our recommendations in order to be able to ensure o timum functionality. If you have any technical
queries, lease contact the dealer from whom you urchased the roduct or we as the manufacturer will be
ha y to answer them ourselves.
I. COMPLETENESS CHECK
The urchased Lazy-Jack System II for sailboats u to a rox. 40 feet with Pfeiffer order number 76.881.01
includes the following arts included in the set as standard:
Two single blocks, twelve eyebolts with 24 self-ta ing screws (and two s are screws), two ro es each 4 metres
long, two ro es each 7 metres long and single block fixed at the end with Ro eClam , two ro es each 9 metres
long and single block fixed at the end with Ro eClam , two ro es each 20 metres long and single block fixed at
the end with Ro eClam , two mast cleats and associated fixing set with screws.
In addition, we ask you to have the following tools ready for assembly: Metre stick, screwdriver (cross-slot, size 2
for Philli s cross-slot ty e H), centre unch, hammer, drill, twist drill Ø 4 mm for the su lied self-ta ing metal-
sheet screws Ø 4.8 mm X 25 mm and the su lied self-ta ing metal-sheet screws Ø 4.8 mm X 9.5 mm and
some oil and a encil.
IMPORTANT TIP:
To avoid drilling errors, we recommend that you first drill a hole for all arts to be screwed on, then screw the art
already in it, align it and then drill the other fixing holes. This way you avoid inaccurate drill holes! The core drill
holes for the self-ta ing screws can be found in the assembly drawing.
