Die High Speed CD-RW 4x-10x, die neue wiederbe-
schreibbare CD von Philips, unterstützt erstmals Aufzeich-
nungsgeschwindigkeiten von 4x bis10x und ist damit die ide-
ale CD-RW fürAnwendungen mit hohen Geschwindigkeits-
ansprüchen und kurzen Formatierzeiten.
Die High Speed CD-RW 4x-10x kann nur auf High Speed
Recordern mit dem entsprechenden Logo aufgenommen
und überschrieben werden.Abspielbar ist die neue CD-RW
jedoch auf allen herkömmlichen CD-Recordern und CD-
ROM Laufwerken.
Ebenso wie die CD-RW von Philips erfüllt die High
Speed CD-RW 4x-10x die technischen Anforderungen
vonTeil III des“Orange Book”-Standards und bietet eine
Speicherkapazität von 650 MB.
Auch sie verwendet ein spezielles“Phasechange”-Material
als Speichersubstanz, wodurch wiederholtes Überschreiben
(bis zu 1000 mal) und mehr als eine Million Lesezyklen mög-
lich sind.
For the first time ever,the new rewritable CD from Philips
supports recording speeds of 4x to 10x and is therefore the
ideal CD-RW for applications with high recording speed
requirements and short formatting times.
The High Speed CD-RW 4x - 10x can only be recorded
and overwritten on high speed recorders bearing the cor-
rect logo.The CD-RW can be played back on all multi read
compatible CD-Recorders and CDROM drives.
Just like the CD-RW from Philips, the High Speed CD-
RW 4x - 10x meets the technical requirements of Part
III of the “Orange Book” standard and offers a storage
capacity of 650 MB.
It also uses a special phase-change material for the
recording layer, which permits repeated overwriting
(more than 1000 times) and more than a million read
cycles.
