• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and if they understand the hazards involved.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
• Before you connect the mixer to the mains, insert the accessories into the mixer.
• Before you switch on the appliance, lower the accessories into the ingredients.
• Switch o the appliance and disconnect it from the mains if you leave it unattended and before you
assemble, disassemble and clean it and before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
• Do not touch or insert any object on the gears of the mixer stand, especially when the appliance is in use.
• Clean the mixer unit, stand and holder with a moist cloth.
• Do not touch the blades, especially when the appliance is plugged in. The blades are very sharp.
• If the blades get stuck, unplug the appliance before you remove the ingredients that block the blades.
• Potential injury like electric shock, mechanical injury may cause from misuse.
• Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
• Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor or blender as it can be ejected out of the appliance
due to a sudden steaming.
Caution
• Never use any accessories or parts from other manufacturers or that Philips does not specically recommend.
If you use such accessories or parts, your guarantee becomes invalid.
• This appliance is intended for household use only.
• Do not exceed the quantities and processing time indicated in the user manual.
• Do not process more than one batch without interruption. Let the appliance cool down for ve minutes
before you continue processing.
Note
• To ensure food stays fresh, do not store it in the beaker for long term.
Blueberry and Raisin Dessert
200 g honey
110 g vanilla ice cream
110 g blueberries
1 Chill the honey in the fridge at 3°C for three hours.
2 Attach the chopper blade unit to the chopper bowl.
3 Pour the chilled honey into the chopper bowl.
4 Add the vanilla ice cream to the chopper bowl.
5 Chill the chopper bowl in the fridge at -18°C for 20 minutes.
6 Remove the chopper bowl from the fridge and place cooked blueberries on top of the vanilla ice cream.
7 Put the chopper lid on the bowl and attach the motor unit to the lid.
8 Turn the appliance on and roll the wheel to select high speed (H).
9 Let the appliance operate for 8 seconds.
• The dessert is ready to serve.
