Connecng the SilverDome to a Light Source
NOTE: In most cases, the sobox connector is designed to
connect with your light source in the same manner as your light
source’s accessories.
11/12. Connect the light to the sobox connector.
13/14. Carefully li the sobox and light assembly and posion
over the LiteStand. Line up the LiteStand’s riser (stud)
with the stand receptacle hole on the light head. Place the
light head on the LiteStand. Tighten the set screws on
your lights swivel to secure to the LiteStand and prevent
unwanted lt.
15. The inner bae has elasc bands with metal clips at each
of the four corners. The interior of the SilverDome sobox
has four white nylon loops. Secure one metal clip to each
of these loops.
16. Here is the inner bae correctly installed in place.
17. The face diuser is rimmed with Velcro trim that aaches
to its counterpart lining the front of the SilverDome.
Find the long edge of the diuser and line it up with the
long edge of the SilverDome front. Starng at one corner,
press the face diuser in place.
18/19. Work your way around the rim of the sobox unl the
diuser is in place.
20. The SilverDome has heat vent aps on all four sides. For
proper venlaon and to prolong the life of your Silver
Dome, it is recommended that you open up the top
(facing ceiling) vent and boom (facing oor). This will create a
convecon ow of air through the sobox interior.
To prevent unwanted light spill out of the vent, the vent
can be tented in a dome shape to allow air ow.
