CONNECTIONS AND LEDS
Input voltage of SEM One is connected at terminals L1 and N and external current transformers are used for current
metering. Next are detailed all connections and leds:

INSTALLATION
The SEM One unit must be installed on an electric panel or enclosure, attached to a DIN rail (IEC 60715).
The unit must be connected to a power circuit that is protected with gl (IEC 269) or M type fuses with a rating of 0.5 to
2 A. It must be fitted with a circuit breaker or equivalent device, in order to be able to disconnect the unit from the
power supply network. The power circuit must be connected with cables that have a minimum cross-section of 1mm2.
The secondary line for the current transformer shall have a minimum cross section of 2.5 mm2.
The temperature rating of insulation of wires connected to the device will be at minimum 62ºC.
COMMUNICATION
The device comes equipped with a RS-485 communication port to read and write the parameters of the device or
other devices connected. The protocol used is Modbus RTU.
By default the device is configured with peripheral number 64 (decimal) and communication mode 4 (9600 bps, 8,
N, 1). Using the command for changing the device number it is possible to assign any other number (maximum FF in
hexadecimal or 255 in decimal).
In case you remember the slave number, you can return to default number and communication mode following this
steps:
•Power off the device.
•Press permanently reset button.
•Power on the device and stop pressing the reset button.

CONEXIONADO Y LEDS
La alimentación de SEM One se realiza entre los bornes de L1 y N, y se requieren transformadores de corriente
externos para la medida de corriente. A continuación el detalle de cada borne:

INSTALACIÓN
La instalación del equipo se realiza sobre montaje carril DIN, quedando todas las conexiones en el interior de un
cuadro eléctrico
El equipo debe conectarse a un circuito de alimentación protegido con fusibles tipo gL (IEC 269) ó tipo M,
comprendido entre 0.5 y 2 A. Debe estar previsto de un interruptor magneto térmico o dispositivo equivalente para
desconectar lo de la red de alimentación. El circuito de alimentación del equipo se conecta con cable de sección
mínima 1 mm2.
La línea del secundario del transformador de corriente será de sección mínima de 2.5mm2.
La temperatura de aislamiento de los cables que se conecten al equipo debe ser como mínimo de 62ºC.
COMUNICACIÓN
El equipo dispone de un puerto de comunicación del tipo RS-485 para la lectura y escritura de los parámetros del
dispositivo. Para ello, el equipo utiliza el protocolo de comunicación Modbus/RTU.
Por defecto, está configurado con el número de periférico 64 (en decimal) y modo de comunicación 4, es decir,
9600 bps, 8, N, 1. Mediante el comando de cambio de dirección podemos asignarle cualquier otra dirección (como
máximo FF en hexadecimal que equivale al periférico 255).
En caso de no recordar el número de esclavo, puede recuperarse la dirección que viene por defecto (64 decimal),
para ello deberá:
•Retirar alimentación auxiliar al equipo.
•Accionar de manera permanente el pulsador ubicado en el frontal del equipo.
•Alimentarlo nuevamente y dejar de accionar el pulsador, de esta manera el equipo volverá a recuperar de
forma automática el número de periférico por defecto.
PRECAUCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
PELIGRO
Indica advertencia de algún riesgo del cual pueden derivarse daños personales o materiales debido a
una manipulación o instalación incorrecta del equipo. En particular, la manipulación bajo tensión
puede producir la muerte o lesiones graves por electrocución al personal que lo manipula. Una
instalación o mantenimiento defectuoso comporta además riesgo de incendio. Lea detenidamente el
manual antes de conectar el equipo. Siga todas las instrucciones de instalación y mantenimiento del
equipo, a lo largo de la vida del mismo. En particular, respete las normas de instalación indicadas en
el Código Eléctrico Nacional.
