to faulty materials of workmanship, the faulty products must be returned to the place of purchase.

WARNING:

WIRING SAFETY FOR UK USE ONLY
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the mains lead of this appliance
may not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are labelled in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Green/Yellow [EARTH]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable). The
wire labelled blue is the neutral and must be
connected to the terminal marked [N].
The wire labelled brown is the live wire and must
be connected to the terminal marked [L].
The wire labelled green/yellow must be
connected to the terminal marked with the letter
[E].
On no account must either the brown or the blue
wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal.
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be tted with a fuse of the same
rating already tted and conforming to BS 1362
and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug tted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an
ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of
the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug - disconnect it
from the mains - then cut it o of the mains lead
and immediately dispose of it in a safe manner.
Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a
socket outlet as there is a danger of an electric
shock.

PRODUCT SAFETY
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should

HIGH VOLTAGE HOT SURFACE DO NOT COVER

plugs or any part of the
appliance in water or any
other liquid.
• This appliance is for
household use only.
• DO NOT carry the appliance
by the power cord.
• DO NOT use the appliance
outdoors.
• Always ensure that the
heater is placed on a rm
level surface. Ensure that the
heater is not positioned close
to curtains, furniture or any
combustible materials as this
could create a re hazard.
• Allow a 50cm safe area
around the heater on the
top and sides and a 120cm
safe area at the front of the
appliance.
• The heater must not be
located immediately below a
mains socket outlet.
• DO NOT cover the heater as
this may lead to a re risk.
• DO NOT obstruct any of the
openings of the heater.
• DO NOT insert any object
through any openings on the
heater.
• Check from time to time for
accumulated dust.
• DO NOT use the heater
in areas where ammable
liquids are stored or where
ammable fumes may be
present.
• DO NOT operate the heater
on a timer, or leave on
overnight.
• When not being used, please
unplug the heater from the
mains socket.
• Keep the mains lead away
from the hot body of the
heater and ensure that it is
not pulled tight between the
socket and the heater.
• DO NOT use the heater in the
immediate surroundings of a
bath, a shower, a swimming
pool or similar indoor
locations and DO NOT touch
hot surfaces.
• Always unplug the heater
and allow it to cool before
moving it from one location to
another.
• DO NOT attempt to dismantle
or repair any part of the
heater. This should only be
done by a qualied service
agent.
• In the unlikely event the
appliance develops a fault,
stop using it immediately
and seek advice from the
Customer Support Team.

BEFORE FIRST USE:
1. Remove your appliance from the packaging.
2. Plug the appliance into the mains supply.
3. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.

ASSEMBLY:
Before using
the heater, the
feet (supplied
separately in the
carton), must
be tted to the
unit. These are
to be attached
to the base of
the heater using the 4 provided self-tapping
screws. Take care to ensure that they are
located correctly in the bottom ends of the
heater’s side mouldings.
Note: It is normal for the radiator to emit some
smell and fumes when it is turned on for the
rst time or when it has not been turned on
after long period of non-use. The smell and
fumes should disappear after the appliance has
been on for a short while.
1. Choose a suitable location for the heater,
taking into account the safety instructions.
2. Insert the plug of the heater into a
suitable socket.
3. Turn the thermostat knob fully in a
clockwise direction to the maximum
setting.
4. There are 2 heat settings. For maximum
heat output both switches should be on.
Power indicator light will light up once the
switch is in the on position.
5. When the desired room temperature
has been reached, the thermostat knob
should be turned slowly anti-clockwise
until the thermostat clicks o and the
lights on the element switches turn o.
6. After this the heater will keep the air
temperature in the room at the set
temperature by switching on and o
automatically.
CLEANING AND CARE
• Before cleaning always switch o the
heater and remove the plug from the
electrical socket.
• Make sure the appliance has cooled
completely before cleaning.
• To remove the dust, wipe the appliance
with a dry cloth.
• Never use abrasive powders or solvents.
• If the heater shows any signs of wear or
damage disconnect immediately from
the mains supply, do NOT use it – have it
checked by a suitably qualied person.
WARNING:
DO NOT IMMERSE ANY ELECTRICAL PART
OF THE APPLIANCE IN WATER SUCH AS
MOTOR UNITS OR PLUGS.
PLEASE SEE CLEANING SECTION FOR
FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS.
