1. Set the watch face-down on a soft, non-scratch surface.
Select the proper pin type for the watch to be opened.
2. Countthenumberofnotchesonthebackofthewatchcover.
3. Whilekeepingthewatch still,twistthe handlecounterclock-
wise. If the watchband obstructs turning, reposition the
opener as stated above and turn again.
4. Tightening is the reverse of removal.
Is even (2,4,6,8):
a. Insert two of the type of pin
you selected above into the
twopinholdersneartheend
of the opener, one on each
side.
b. Align the two side pins with
two notches on opposite
sides of the case.
c. Push the top of the center
wheelforwarduntilthe case
is gripped by both pins.
Is divisible by 3 (3,6,9,12):
a. Insertthreeofthetypeofpin
you selected above into the
pin holders on the opener.
b. Position thewatchcasewith
a notch directly at the bot-
tom.
c. Align the two side pins with
the two notches an equal
distance from each other
andthe notchat thebottom.
Push the top of the center
wheel forward until the pins
fit into the two notches.
d. Turn the handle clockwise
until the case is gripped by
all three pins.
