Thank you for choosing a PNJ product. This manual describes how to prepare and use your drone. It also pro-

vides information on the use and safety precautions, regulations, compliance and technical specications

of the drone. Please read it carefully and thoroughly before use, to familiarize yourself with all the features

of the unit, to ensure the safe use of your drone and to take full advantage of it. Keep the manual for future

Li-po battery

- By owning, charging or using the LiPo battery, you assume all risks associated with the use of lithium batteries.

- Always keep out of reach of children.

- Never leave the battery unattended while charging.

- Never leave the battery charged for more than 1 hour.

- Use only the USB charger provided in the pack. Never use a Ni-Cd or Ni-Mh charger.

- Before charging the battery, check that it is not damaged. Check that the battery has not swollen or that the battery

compartment is not punctured. If you notice any of these situations: DO NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY!

- A used battery must be removed from the unit and replaced.

- If you notice that the battery starts to swell during charging, disconnect the battery immediately and do not use it again.

Continued use of an inated or deteriorated battery may cause an explosion.

- Make sure that the output voltage of the charger matches the battery voltage. Do not charge at a higher current than

recommended. Use only the charger provided in the pack.

- Disconnect the battery from the charger if it becomes too hot (Never exceed 49 ° C / 120 ° F) or swells. If the battery

becomes hot, disconnect the charger immediately.

- Charge only on non-ammable surfaces. Never charge inside a vehicle!

- Do not expose the battery to any source of heat or high temperature.

- Never put the battery in contact with water or immerse it in any other liquid.

- Improper use of the battery may cause re, explosion or other hazards.

- In case of re caused by the battery, do not use water to extinguish the re (sand is recommended).

- Not suitable for people with epilepsy.

- Avoid excessive ying (risk of eyestrain or physical fatigue).

- Observe the safety instructions in this manual.

- Use only the accessories supplied by the manufacturer.

- Before each ight, check that the batteries are fully charged.

1.Outdoor ight (not recommended): Fly at medium temperature, in sunny and windstill conditions.

2. Indoor ight (recommended): Ideal for indoor ight, choose a spacious place without obstacles, people or

 animals.

Note:

• Do not y in extreme temperatures (very cold or very hot) as this could affect the ight performance of the drone.

• Do not y in windy weather, ight performance and control of the aircraft may be impaired due to the wind. This could

cause damage to you or to the unit.

Battery installation

1. Hold the battery lock clips on the sides of the battery.

2. Remove the battery carefully.

3. When installing the battery, make sure the red female connector of the battery is connected

to the male connector of the drone.

4. Replace the battery in the drone then push lightly until you hear the lock click.

Charging the battery

1. Connect the battery to the charger.

2. Connect the charger to a USB port or a USB adapter, the indicator light will come on to conrm that

the load of the drone is in progress.

3. The battery indicator light will turn off once the battery is fully charged. You can remove the

drums. Never leave the battery unattended for the duration of charging.

How to install and charge Battery

1. Make sure the voltage required for USB charging corresponds to the power source used.

2. The charger plug may overheat if overloaded. In this case disconnect the battery immediately to avoid an accident.

3. Do not let the battery charge unattended.

4. Do not use any charger or charging cable other than the one supplied with the drone.

5. Wait 30 minutes after a ight for the battery to cool before recharging.

6. Do not leave the battery in a re, in the sun or in environments that are too hot.

7. Do not short-circuit the battery.

8. Keep the battery away from metal parts or magnets.

Install the propellers

The propellers are differentiated by the letters “A” and “B” and are diagonally opposite. Please refer to the gure below to

install each propeller correctly. Use the tool included in the pack to facilitate disassembly of the propeller on the rotor. Be

careful not to force too much by inserting the propeller onto the rotor. Propellers A1 and A2 rotate clockwise. Propellers

B1 and B2 rotate counterclockwise. Be sure to install them correctly.

The arms of the drone must be folded in a precise order, to fold the drone:

1. Fold the front arms rst (those close to the camera).

2. Fold down the rear arms last. To unfold the drone, please start with the back arms.

Settings or the pilot / control interface of the drone by pressing “PLAY” (bottom right of your screen).

When you notice that the drone is too close to people or obstacles during the ight, you can press the emergency stop but-

ton: “STOP” to shut down the engines. The drone will immediately stop ying and avoid crashing into people or obstacles.

After activating the emergency stop, simply restart the drone normally to continue ying.

You can adjust the speed of the engines by using the button “Speeds” allowing you a quick grip of the drone. Once

accustomed to the product in slow speed do not hesitate to modify the speed of the engines for more exciting ights.

Press the “ight path” button, the right joystick will be deactivated. Use your index nger to draw the trajectory of the drone

on your smartphone. The drone will follow the desired trajectory.

Without the CF mode, you must constantly worry about the ight direction of the drone when ying or rotating it. Press the

CF mode button to activate the mode, the directions will then be locked.

This mode makes it easy to control the drone without worrying about its direction of ight and its rotation.

Example: If you press the right joystick forward the drone will move away from you regardless of its direction of ight at

the time of the command, if you press the right joystick to the rear the drone will approach you.

It is possible to control the drone by voice. Press the “voice control” button to activate this feature.

Voice commands are only available in English:

1. “Forward”

2. “Backward”

3. “Left side” (movement to the left)

4. “Right side” (movement to the right)

Press the On / Off button to turn on the drone. Make sure your phone is connected to the WIFI network of the drone and

launch the application.

1. Press the “Touch Joysticks” button (# 8 on page 5) to bring up the touch joysticks.

2. Press the button: Altitude Hold “(# 6 on page 5).

3. You can now press the “unlock / start motors” button (# 17 on page 5) to start

electric motors.

4. You can also take off using the button “auto takeoff” provided for this purpose, the drone will take off then

automatically and y at an altitude of about 1.2m.

5. Try Tilt Control by pressing button 7 (page 5 of this manual), the drone is tilting

from your smartphone or tablet. Once used to the drone, do not hesitate to change the speed (# 5) for more

sensations and fun of ying.

Photos and videos are saved directly to your mobile device and the App. Access your photos and videos directly from

your mobile device gallery or control interface by tapping the “Media” icon (# 4 on page 5 of this manual).

To save photos and videos, simply press button # 2 or # 3 on the control interface (see page 5 of this manual).

Maintenance

- The battery should be kept in a dry, ventilated place. The storage temperature is between 18 ° C and 25 ° C. Avoid ex-

cessive charging and discharging to prolong battery life. Be sure to charge the battery before storing it, if it is left unused

for a long time.

- To avoid any problems, we strongly advise you to take the habit of also removing the battery of the drone when not in

use.

- Keep your equipment in a dry place, away from water and heat. Do not place the drone on a wet surface or in the vicinity

of liquid substances. This could cause irreversible damage.

- Maintenance can only be carried out by the After Sales Service of the warehouse or distributor. If you have a problem

with your drone, please contact us directly. It is not recommended to change the engine or the motherboard on your own.

- Use only accessories specied by the manufacturer.

FRENCH LEGISLATION

While using the drone the safety of people and other aircraft is your responsibility. If you use your drone in France, as

part of leisure activities, we remind you that it is essential to respect the following 10 principles to y in accordance with

the law:

2. I respect the maximum ight heights.

3. I never lose my sight of the drone and I do not use it at night.

4. I do not y my drone over public space in built-up areas.

5. I do not use my drone near aerodromes.

6. I do not y over sensitive sites.

7. I respect the privacy of others.

8. I do not broadcast my footage without the agreement of the persons concerned and I do not use it

commercially.

9. I verify under what conditions I am insured for the practice of this activity.

10. In case of doubt, I inquire.

The usage of a drone not complying with the rules enacted to ensure safety is punishable by one year of imprisonment

and a ne of 75,000 euros under Article L. 6232-4 of transport code.

warranty

This product is warranted for a period of 24 months from the date of original purchase by the consumer, except for

certain wear parts, against manufacturing defects, upon presentation of proof of purchase (receipt with date, place of

purchase, name of the product).

During the contractual warranty period, the defective product must be returned in its original packaging to the retailer’s

service center or to the www.pnj.fr website, depending on the place of purchase. After inspection of the

product, the after-sales service will repair or replace the defective part or product, to the exclusion of any other compen-

sation, if the product has been used correctly.

The warranty does not cover:

- The hull of the drone, propellers, propeller shields, landing gears, buttons, throttle and

radio-control antenna, damaged or deteriorated as a result of a fall or accident, voluntary or

involuntary.

- The battery charger when connected to a wall power supply (voltage too high).

- Products that have undergone unauthorized alterations, modications, customizations or other assembly.

- Damage resulting from accidents, normal wear and tear, contact with liquid (rain, water, etc.).

- Defects due to alteration or deterioration of the product caused by a fall, accidental shock or

immersion, voluntary or involuntary.

- Defects due to abnormal use of the product, installation of spare parts not in accordance with

instructions in this manual or at www.pnj.fr.

- Damage resulting from a repair performed by the user themself or an unauthorized third party, excluding exchange

of spare parts provided by PNJ.

- Defects caused by parts not supplied by PNJ, including a battery not approved by PNJ. All products found to be defec-

tive after analysis will be returned to the shipper at their expense.

The spare parts necessary for the use of the product are available for 12 months, from the date of rst commercializa-

tion of the product. Wear parts: Battery: 6 months / ESC: 6 months / Engines: 6 months
