water so you must clear whatever is
blocking the mic aperture by gently
shaking out the water and allowing
the microphone to air dry.
Look for the W (Waterproof)
as part of the model
number on the white
tag located near the
end of the mic cable.

LAVALIER MIC’ING OPTIONS
For CARDIOID model (CR-8L) microphones,
determining the proper placement will
provide for an optimal signal-to-noise ratio
and will also minimize popping and the
effects of breath noise.
To achieve the optimal combination of
discreetness and sound quality it may
be required to test different placements.

Large Windscreens
for Cardioid Mics
At a mere 4mm
in diameter, this
miniature mic can
be hidden easily.
When camoufl aging, the lavalier should be positioned as close
as possible to the sound source for best performance.
Secure the lavalier so it remains stationery without being
subject to clothing noise or gusts of air or dust.
Always ensure the mic is pointed toward the user’s mouth.
To remove, grasp
end of cable fi rmly
and twist off until
separated.
CABLE CARE
Use care when storing your microphone; coil
the cable so that it rests fl at.
DO NOT wrap the cable around the body
pack or coil the cable in any way that
creates serious bends or strain on the cable.
