system that helps provide a fully integrated power system. In order to use your
device safely, efficiently, and effectively, please read the User Manual
thoroughly and follow the instructions provided before use. Please keep this
User Manual for future reference.

Disposal and Recycling
This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this
product must not be disposed of with your other household waste.
Instead, it is your responsibility to dispose of your waste equipment by
handing it over to a designated collection point for the recycling of waste
electrical and electronic equipment. The separate collection and recycling of
your waste equipment at the time of disposal will help conserve natural
resources and ensure that it is recycled in a manner that protects human health
and the environment. For more information about where you can drop off your
waste equipment for recycling, please contact your local city office, your
household waste disposal service, or the shop where you purchased the product.

POMCube disclaims all liability for any accidents or damage caused by using the
product in ways that are not described in this User Manual or by using non-
genuine parts or accessories.
Warning labels description
DANGER
DANGER indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, could result in injury, death, or damage to iCAN NetZero
Plus.
CAUTION
CAUTION indicates potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, could result in medium/slight injury or damage to iCAN
NetZero Plus.
BURN
DO NOT TOUCH a running iCAN NetZero Plus because the shell is
hot when iCAN NetZero Plus is running.
DELAYED
DISCHARGE
High voltage exists after iCAN NetZero Plus is powered on.
Only qualified and trained electrical technicians are allowed
to perform operations on iCAN NetZero Plus.
Residual voltage exists after iCAN NetZero Plus is powered
off. It takes 5 minutes for iCAN NetZero Plus to discharge to
a safe voltage.
Indicates that the operating instructions in this manual should be
considered when operating iCAN NetZero Plus or control close to
where the symbol is placed.

General Information
DANGER: Read this entire document before installing or using iCAN NetZero
Plus. Failure to read or follow any of the instructions or warnings in this
document can result in electrical shock, serious injury, death, or can damage
the product, potentially rendering it inoperable.
DANGER: A battery can present a risk of electrical shock, fire, or explosion
from vented gases. Observe proper precautions.
DANGER: iCAN NetZero Plus must be installed by only POMCube authorized
persons who have been trained in working with high voltage electricity.
DANGER: Universal PCS is more than 55 lbs (25 kg) in weight. It shall be
installed by at least 2 persons.
DANGER: Use iCAN NetZero Plus only as directed.
DANGER: Do not handle the device or its components with wet hands,
otherwise electric shock or death may occur.
DANGER: Do not use iCAN NetZero Plus if it is defective, appears cracked,
broken, (or otherwise damaged) or fails to operate.
DANGER: Before wiring, ensure that iCAN NetZero Plus is switched off. Open
any associated breakers or disconnect switches.
DANGER: To protect the product and its components from damage when
transporting, handle with care. Do not impact, pull, drag, or step on iCAN
NetZero Plus. Do not subject iCAN NetZero Plus to any high forces. To help
prevent damage, leave iCAN NetZero Plus in its shipping packaging until it is
ready to be installed.
DANGER: Any installations must comply with The National Electric Code (NEC)

and local codes.
DANGER: Do not insert foreign objects into any part of iCAN NetZero Plus.
Always use genuine parts and accessories, purchased directly from
POMCube or a POMCube-certified party. Using parts and accessories other
than the provided one may cause short circuits or overheating, and result in
electric shock or fire.
DANGER: Any installation must comply with specifications for wire types,
conductor sizes, electrical and thermal insulation, branch circuit protection,
grounding, and disconnect devices.
DANGER: Keep iCAN NetZero Plus away from children.
CAUTION: Do not paint any part of iCAN NetZero Plus, including any internal
or external components such as the exterior shell or casing.
CAUTION: When installing iCAN NetZero Plus in a garage or near vehicles,
keep it out of the driving path. It shall be standing on the floor. If possible,
install iCAN NetZero Plus on a side wall.
Installation Conditions
(1) Environmental Conditions
DANGER: Do not expose iCAN NetZero Plus or its components to direct
flame.
DANGER: Do not install iCAN NetZero Plus near heating equipment. Do not
expose iCAN NetZero Plus to direct sunlight.
DANGER: Do not immerse iCAN NetZero Plus or its components in water or
other fluids. Install iCAN NetZero Plus in a location that prevents damage
from flooding.
DANGER: Do not expose iCAN NetZero Plus to ambient temperatures above
60°C (140°F) or below -30°C (22°F). In temperatures below 0°C (32°F), use
an air heater to warm up the battery cabinet before booting the system. A
thermal cover is recommended for the battery cabinet in temperatures
below 0°C (32°F).
CAUTION: Do not use cleaning solvents to clean iCAN NetZero Plus, or

expose iCAN NetZero Plus to flammable or harsh chemicals or vapors.
CAUTION: Do not place iCAN NetZero Plus in a storage condition for more
than one (1) month, or permit the electrical feed on the iCAN NetZero Plus
to be severed for more than one (1) month, without placing iCAN NetZero
Plus into a storage condition in accordance with POMCube’s storage
specifications.
CAUTION: Ensure that no water sources are above or near iCAN NetZero
Plus, including downspouts, sprinklers, or faucets.
CAUTION: Ensure that snow does not accumulate around iCAN NetZero Plus.
(2) iCAN NetZero Plus shall be installed on a side wall with shade.
Environmental requirements

(3) The foundation of the installation site shall be horizontal.
(4) Reserve enough space for maintenance and pay attention to the maintenance
space requirement for each side.
Maintenance Space
(5) Ensure enough clearance around the unit is available per local and national
electric code. The distance between the device and other ESS,doors and
windows should not be less than 3ft (90.14cm).
Cleaning and Maintenance
DANGER: Switch off all external and internal breakers, then wait for 5
minutes before making any repairs or maintenances.
DANGER: iCAN NetZero Plus is maintenance-free, but cooling fins and fans
shall never be obstructed by any dirt or other objects. It is recommended
that you clean the device by blowing it with a blower, or wiping it gently
using a soft and dry cloth or brush. Do not use water, chemical substances,

or detergents. These may cause discoloration or corrosion to the product's
exterior, and may cause a fire or electric shock.
DANGER: iCAN NetZero Plus and its components are not user serviceable.
Do not dismantle the device. Do not attempt to repair the device or its
accessories by yourself, as damage or personal injury may occur. Damage
caused by unauthorized repair is not under the warranty. Please contact
your local distributor for any possible problems with the product.
DANGER: Do not damage any of the cable. Do not place it near any hot
objects, bend it excessively, twist it, pull it, or wrap it into a bundle.
DANGER: Batteries in iCAN NetZero Plus are replaceable. Contact POMCube
or an authorized dealer for any repairs or replacements.
Emergency Situations
(1) Leaking Batteries
DANGER: If the battery pack leaks electrolyte, avoid contact with the leaking
liquid or gas. If one is exposed to the leaked substance, immediately perform
the actions described below.
Inhalation
DANGER: Evacuate the contaminated area, and seek medical attention.
Contact with eyes
DANGER: Rinse eyes with flowing water for 15 minutes, and seek medical
attention.
Contact with skin
DANGER: Wash the affected area thoroughly with soap and water, and seek
medical attention.
Ingestion
DANGER: Induce vomiting, and seek medical attention.
(2) Damaged Batteries
DANGER: Damaged batteries are dangerous and must be handled with the
utmost care. They are not fit for use and may pose a danger to people or

property. If the battery pack seems to be damaged, pack it in its original
container, and then return it immediately to POMCube or an authorized
dealer.
(3) Fire
DANGER: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE WATER! Only dry
powder fire extinguisher can be used; call 911 or other emergency services,
immediately.
(4) Wet Batteries
DANGER: If the battery pack is subjected to water or submerged, contact
POMCube or an authorized dealer for technical support. Do not allow
personnel to access the unit.
NOTE: Damaged batteries may leak electrolyte or produce flammable gas. If such
damage occurs, please contact POMCube immediately.
