Der POPP Power Plug ist ein Zwischenstecker, welcher mittels
Z-Wave oder manuell perTaste (3) bedient werden kann und
jedes beliebige elektrische Gerät schaltet. Dank der Energie-
messfunktion identifizieren Sie die Energiefresser in Ihrem
Smart Home.
Die Z-Wave Funktechnologie ermöglicht die drahtlose Kommu-
nikation mit einem übergeordneten Z-Wave-fähigen Steuer-
gerät und erlaubt so zahlreiche intelligente Funktionen in den
Bereichen Energiemanagement, Komfort und Sicherheit.
Sicherheitshinweise
▪Gerät ausstecken, bevor Änderungen daran vorgenommen
werden, z. B. beim Lampenwechsel.
▪Zwischenstecker nur in eine fest eingebaute Steckdose mit
Schutzkontakten einstecken.
▪Zwischenstecker nicht ineinander stecken.
▪Sicherstellen, dass Netzstecker und Netzkabel des einzu-
steckenden Geräts nicht beschädigt sind.
▪Zwischenstecker nicht öffnen.
▪Zwischenstecker nur in Innenräumen betreiben.
▪Zwischenstecker vor Feuchtigkeit, Nässe, Staub, Sonnen-
licht und anderer Wärmebestrahlung schützen.
▪Zwischenstecker max. bis zur Leistungsgrenze belasten,
siehe Technische Daten.
▪Keine Geräte an den Zwischenstecker anschließen, deren
unbeaufsichtigtes Einschalten Brände oder andere Schäden
verursachen können, z. B. Kochplatte.
▪Zwischenstecker nicht mit Verlängerungskabel verwenden.
Kindersicherung entsperren durch eine leichte
seitliche Kippbewegung des Steckers.

Zwischenstecker anlernen bzw. aus-
lernen
Zur Bedienung über Funk müssen Zwischenstecker und über-
geordnete Steuereinheit (Zentraleinheit) miteinander bekannt
gemacht werden. DieserVorgang heißt „Anlernen“ bzw.
„Inklusion“. Angelernte Geräte können auch getrennt werden.
Dieser Vorgang heißt „Auslernen“ bzw. „Exklusion“.
Der An-/Auslernvorgang wird von der Zentraleinheit gesteuert,
siehe Dokumentation der Zentraleinheit.
1. Zwischenstecker in eine fest eingebaute Steckdose mit
Schutzkontakten einstecken.
2. Anlernmodus bzw. Auslernmodus an der gewünschten
Zentraleinheit starten.
3. Taste am Zwischenstecker 3-mal innerhalb von ca.
2 Sekunden drücken.
Die Status-LED leuchtet weiß.
Während der nächsten 5 Sekunden wird die Funkverbindung
aufgebaut und der Zwischenstecker an der Zentraleinheit an-
bzw. ausgelernt.
Nach erfolgreichem An- bzw. Auslernen blinkt die Status-LED
weiß und zeigt den vorigen Schaltzustand wieder an.
Falls der Zwischenstecker bereits an einer
anderen Zentraleinheit angelernt war, muss er
zuerst ausgelernt werden.

The POPP Power Plug is a wall plug which can be operated via
Z-Wave or manually via button (3) and switches any electrical
device. Due to its energy measurement function, you can
identify the power eater in your Smart Home.
Z-Wave wireless technology enables the wireless
communication with a higher-level Z-Wave-capable control
unit, thus enabling numerous intelligent functions in the areas
of energy management, comfort and safety.
Safety instructions
▪Unplug the device before making any changes, such as
changing a bulb.
▪Only plug the wall plug into a fixed mains outlet with
grounding contacts (CEE 7/4).
▪Never connect two wall plugs into one another.
▪Make sure that the mains plug and power cable of the
device you are connecting are undamaged.
▪Do not open the casing of the wall plug.
▪The wall plug must only be used indoors.
▪Protect the wall plug against moisture, wetness, dust, sun-
light and other sources of heat.
▪Never operate the wall plug beyond its maximum operating
limits – refer to the technical data.
▪Never plug in any devices into the wall plug that could
become a fire risk or could cause damage if switched on
unsupervised, e.g. hotplates.
▪Do not use the wall plug in combination with an extension
cable.
Unlock the child lock by a slight tilting movement
of the plug.

Inclusion/exclusion of the wall plug
For wireless operation, the wall plug and the central unit need
to be linked to each other.This process is called “inclusion”.
Included devices can be disconnected.This process is called
“exclusion”.
The inclusion/exclusion process is controlled by the central
unit – refer to the documentation for the central unit.
1. Plug the wall plug into a fixed mains outlet with grounding
contacts (CEE 7/4).
2. Start “Inclusion” resp. “Exclusion” mode on the chosen
central unit.
3. Press the button on the wall plug 3 times within a period
of around 2 seconds.
The Status LED lights up white.
During the next 5 seconds, the wireless connection is
established and the inclusion/exclusion process for the wall
plug is performed.
Once the inclusion/exclusion process has been successfully
completed, the Status LED flashes white and goes back to
showing the previous switch state.
If the wall plug has already been included to
another central unit, it first has to be excluded
before starting the inclusion.
