(Thoroughly read the followings before use)
Features of the product and Precautions
Precautions for Installation
- Maintain the right vertical and horizontal angles of the product for installation.
- Install the product in a place devoid of vibration, shock, high temperature or humidity, direct sunlight, much
dust,or air containing much salt or ions.
- Do not install the product within the vicinity of inflammable gases or steam or dust.
- Wire the product as provided in the following drawings and check if all cables are properly connected.
- Ensure the earthing terminal is correctly grounded.
- Ensure the product is detached from the power supply cables or the cables with much electrical noise.
Precautions for Use
- Unwarranted operation of the controller may cause the defects of the object materials.
- Pora shall NOT be responsible for any damages to the controller caused by such operations.
Warning
For the installation and wiring of the controller, completely isolate it from the external power
supply. Failure to do so may result in an electrical shock or damage to the controller.
Precaution
Check the surrounding environment. Do not install the controller where it can be exposed to
excessive dust, conductive dust, corrosive gases, high temperature or rainy wind. It also should
not be installed in the places susceptible to vibrations or shocks. Failure to do so may result in
damages to, or malfunctioning or lowered performance of the controller.
Warning
Use anti-explosive products where there are high risks of inflammation or explosion. Failure to
do so may result in a fire or explosion. Use the anti-explosive products suitable to the given
conditions.

Wrong connections of power terminals (be also careful of the order
that working loads use power,) contacts of the DC input and output
wires and the power wires, and short-circuits of output wires etc. may
be a cause of severe damages.
Caution : Check of the power input and wiring
(3) Setting of the sensor capacity
(item no. 03 of the parameter)
Enter a capacity of the tension detector to be used within a range of 0~2000.
For a tension detector with 200kg, enter 200 for convenience of checking.

After installing a pendulum as above,
Press the [DISP] and [ENTER] keys at the same time to change to the tension calibration mode.
When pressing the [▲] or [▼] key to move to the auto span item, and then pressing the [ENTER] key, the current
setting value is flashed, and the ready state is prepared for entering values.
Press the [▲] or [▼] key to set the desired tension value.
(※ If pressing the [SHIFT]+[▲] or [SHIFT]+[▼] keys together, the number of digits waiting for input is changed.)
When pressing the [ENTER] key after entering a value, the indicated setting value is changed from flickering to
lighting, and it is stored.
Before setting it, select a pendulum of 30~80% of the tension detector’s maximum capacity to hang it on the
roller as below.
Ex) For a tension detector with the maximum load of 100kg, a pendulum of 30~80kg is selected.
3) Setting of the Span Value
When there is an abnormal condition, an alarm code is indicated on the 7-segment. The indicated warning
condition is cleared when pressing any key in the alarm state, and the ready state to set a span value is prepared
again. After solving the corresponding error by referring to the alarm list in page 10, execute to set the span
value again.

Sample installation
The tension detector employs two detecting rollers, with one located in either side, so as to successfully measure
even wide-bodied object materials which tend to slant to one side.
One tension detector suffices to properly measure the tension of the object materials that do not incline toward
one side.
For electric wires or ropes, a pulley is installed on one sensor to detect tension.
