GENERAL SAFETY RULES
WARNING:
Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and other
construction activities contains chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or
other reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are:
• leadfromlead-basedpaints,
• crystallinesilicafrombricksandcementandothermasonryproducts,and
• arsenicandchromiumfromchemicallytreatedlumber.
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type
of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a well ventilated
area, and work with approved safety equipment, such as those dust masks that
are specially designed to filter out microscopic particles.

WORK AREA SAFETY:
• Keep your work area clean and well lit. Cluttered benches and dark areas invite
accidents.
• Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the
presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the
dust or fumes.
• Keep bystanders, children, and visitors away while operating a
power tool.Distractions can cause you to lose control.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
•Powertoolplugsmustmatchtheoutlet.Never modify the plug in any way. Do
not use any adapter plugs in any earthed (grounded) power tools. Double insulated tools are
equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician to install a polarized outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
Double insulation eliminates the need for the three wire grounded power cord and grounded
power supply system.
•Donotexposepowertoolstorainorwetconditions.Water entering a
power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
•Avoidbodycontactwithearthedorgroundedsurfacessuchas
pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric
shock if your body is grounded.

•Donotabusethecord.Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power
tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged cords increase the
risk of electric shock.
•Whenoperatingapowertooloutside,useanextensioncordsuitable
for outdoor use. These cords are rated for outdoor use and reduce the risk of electric
shock.
•DonotuseAConlyratedtoolswithaDCpowersupply.While the tool may
appear to work. The electrical components of the AC rated tool are likely to fail and rate a hazard
to the operator.
PERSONAL SAFETY
•Stayalert,watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool.
Do not use tool while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of
inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
•Usesafetyequipment.Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such as dust
mask,non-skidsafetyshoes,hardhat,orhearingprotectionforappropriateconditionswillreduce
personal injuries.
•Dressproperly.Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts. Air
vents may cover moving parts and should be avoided.
•Avoidaccidentalstarting.Ensure the switch is in the off position before plugging in.
Carrying power tool with your finger on the switch or plugging in power tools that have the switch
on invites accidents.
•Removeanyadjustingkeysorwrenchesbeforeturningthepower
tool on. A wrench or key that is left attached to a rotating part of the tool may result in
personal injury.
•Donotoverreach.Maintain proper footing and balance at all times. Loss of balance can
cause an injury in an unexpected situation.
•Ifdevicesareprovidedforconnectionofdustextractionand
collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used.
Use of these devices can reduce dust related hazards.
•Donotusealadderorunstablesupport.Stable footing on a solid surface
enables better control of the tool in unexpected situations.
•Keeptoolhandlesdry,cleanandfreefromoilandgrease.Slippery
handles cannot safely control the tool.
TOOL USE AND CARE
•Securetheworkpiece.Use clamp or other practical way to hold the work piece to a
stable platform. Holding the work piece by hand or against your body is unstable and may lead to
loss of control.
•Donotforcethepowertool.The tool will perform the job better and safer at the feed
rate for which it is designed. Forcing the tool could possibly damage the tool and may result in
personal injury.

•Usethecorrectpowertoolforthejob.Don’t force the tool or attachment to do a
job for which it is not designed.
•Donotusetoolifswitchdoesnotturnitonoroff.Any tool that cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired or replaced by an authorized service
center.
•Turnpowertooloff,anddisconnecttheplugfrom the power source and/or
battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing the accessories, or
storing the tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of an accidental start up which
may cause personal injury.
•Storeidletoolsoutofreachofchildrenandotherinexperienced
persons. It is dangerous in the hand of untrained users.
•Maintainpowertoolswithcare.Check for proper alignment and binding of moving
parts, component breaks, and any other conditions that may affect the tool’s operation. A guard
or any other part that is damaged must be properly repaired or replaced by an authorized service
center to avoid risk of personal injury.
•Userecommendedaccessories.Using accessories and attachments not
recommended by the manufacturer or intended for use on this type tool may cause damage to
the tool or result in personal injury to the user. Consult the operator’s manual for recommended
accessories.
•Keepcuttingtoolssharpandclean.Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
•Feedtheworkpieceinthecorrectdirectionandspeed.Feed the work
piece into a blade, cutter, or abrasive surface against the direction of the cutting tool’s direction of
rotation only. Incorrectly feeding the work piece in the same direction may cause the work piece to
be thrown out at high speed.
•Neverleavethetoolrunningunattended,turnthepoweroff.Do not
leave the tool until it comes to a complete stop.
•Neverstartthepowertoolwhenanyrotatingcomponentisin
contact with the work piece.
BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
• Ensure the switch trigger is in the off position before inserting
battery pack. Inserting the battery pack into power tools that have the switch on invites
accidents.
• Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A
charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with
another battery pack.
• Use battery tools only with specified battery pack. Use of any other battery
packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
• Avoid storing battery pack in a container with other metal objects
such as nails, coins, clips, keys, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection
from one terminal to another. Always protect the battery terminals when battery pack is not being
used. Connecting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.

• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery.
Avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally
seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
• Battery tools do not need to be plugged into an electrical outlet,
therefore, they are always in operation condition. Be aware of possible hazards when not using
your battery tool or when changing accessories. Following this rule will reduce the risk of electric
shock, fire or personal injury.
WARNING: USE OF THIS TOOL CAN GENERATE AND DISBURSE DUST OR
OTHER AIRBORNE PARTICLES, INCLUDING WOOD DUST, CRYSTALLINE SILICA
DUST AND ASBESTOS. Direct particles away from face and body. Always operate
tool in a well-ventilated area and provide for proper dust removal. Use dust
collection system wherever possible. Exposure to the dust may cause serious and
permanent respiratory or other injury, including silicosis (a serious lung disease),
cancer, and death. Avoid breathing the dust, and avoid prolonged contact with
the dust. Allowing dust to get into your mouth or eyes, or lay on your skin may
promote absorption of harmful material. Always use properly fitting NIOSH/OSHA
approved respiratory protection appropriate for dust exposure, and wash exposed
areas with soap and water.
SERVICE
• Have Your Power Tool Serviced by a qualified repair person using
only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool
is maintained.

SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR CORDLESS JIG SAWS
WARNING: DO NOT let comfort or familiarity with this tool (gained from
repeated use) replace strict adherence to safety rules. If you use this tool unsafely
or incorrectly, you can suffer serious personal injury!
WARNING:Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an
operation where cutting tools may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact
with a “live” wire will make exposed metal parts of the tool “live” and shock the
operator!
•Avoidcuttingnails,inspect work piece for any nails and remove them before operation.
•Donotcuthollowpipe.
•Checkfortheproperclearancebeyond the work piece before cutting so that the
blade will not strike the floor, work bench, and etc.
•MakesurethebladeisNOTcontactingtheworkpiece before the switch
is turned on.
•Donotleavethetoolrunning. Operatethetoolonlywhenhand-held.
•Donottouchthebladeortheworkpieceimmediatelyafteroperation;
it may be extremely hot and could burn your skin.
•Alwaysswitchoffandwaitforthebladetocometoacompletestop
before removing from the work piece.
•Keephandsawayfromthemovingparts.
•Somematerialcontainschemicalswhichmaybetoxic.Take caution to
prevent dust inhalation and skin contact. Follow material supplier safety data.
•Beawarethatthistoolisalwaysinanoperatingcondition, because it
does not have to be plugged into an electrical outlet.
•Alwaysholdthetoolrmlyinyourhandsbefore switching the tool “ON”.
•Weareyeandhearingprotection.Always use safety glasses with side shields.
Unless otherwise specified, everyday glasses provide only limited impact resistance, they are not
safety glasses. Use only certified safety equipment; eye protection equipment should comply with
ANSI z87.1 standards. Protective hearing equipment should comply with ANSI s3.19 standards.
•Protectyourlungs. Wear a face or dust mask if the operation is dusty. Following this rule
will reduce the risk of personal injury.
•Alwaysdisconnectbatterypackfromtoolor place the switch in the locked
or off position before any assembly, adjustments or changing of accessories. Following this
instruction will reduce the risk of serious personal injury.
•Donotplacebatterytoolsortheirbatteriesnearreorheat.This will
reduce the risk of explosion and possibly personal injury.
•Neveruseabatterywhichhasbeendroppedorreceivedasharp
blow. A damaged battery is subject to explosion. Properly dispose of a dropped or damaged
battery immediately.

OPERATION
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injuries, read and follow
all important safety warning and instructions before using this tool.
WARNING: Always disconnect battery pack from tool or place the switch
in the locked or off position before any assembly, adjustments or changing of
accessories.
LOCK-OFF BUTTON
Thelock-offbutton(2-FIG1)islocatedonthehandleabovetheswitchtrigger.Youmustdepressthelock-
off button in order to pull the switch trigger. The lock resets each time the trigger is released.
NOTE: You can depress the lock-off button from either the left or right side.
SWITCH ACTION
CAUTION: Before insertion of battery pack, always be sure that the tool is
switched off.
•To start the saw,depressandholdlock-offbutton,thendepresstheswitchtrigger.
•To stop the saw, release the switch trigger.
The variable speed is controlled by the amount of pressure being applied to the
switch. Maximum speed will be obtained when the switch is fully depressed.
INSTALLING OR REMOVING THE BLADES
WARNING: Always disconnect battery pack from tool and place the switch
on "OFF" position before any assembly, adjustments or changing of accessories.
WARNING: This tool is designed to work with T-shank jig saw blades. use
with non-T-shank blades may result in blades coming loose from tool, resulting in
personal injury or property damage.
NOTE: To obtain the best performance from the saw, it is important to select a
specific blade for the particular application and type of material you wish to cut. By
doing this you will get a smoother, faster cut and prolong blade life.
CAUTION: Always clean out all chips or foreign matter adhering to the blade
and/or blade holder. Do not touch the blade or the workpiece immediately after
operation;theymaybeextremelyhotandcouldburnyourskin.Alwayssecure
the blade firmly. Insufficient tightening of the blade may cause blade breakage or
serious personal injury.
To Install the blade
1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Depress the blade clamp (spring loaded) as far as it
willgointhedirectionasshownonFIG2.
3. With the blade teeth facing forward, insert the blade
into the blade holder as far as it will go.
4. Check to make sure the back edge of the blade is
positioned properly in the groove of the roller guide.
5. Release the blade clamp. The blade should be now securely fastened.
6. Insert the battery pack.

To remove the blade,
1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Depress the blade clamp (spring loaded) as far as itwillgointhedirectionasshownonFIG2.
3. Remove the blade from the blade holder. Release the blade clamp.
APPLICATION

on "OFF" position before any assembly, adjustments or changing of accessories.
GENERAL CUTTING
CAUTION: Always hold the base flush with the workpiece. Failure to do so may
cause blade breakage, resulting in a serious injury.
Jig saws cut on the upstroke. It causes the work piece surface facing upwards to splinter.
Therefore, determine the “good” side of your work piece, and place your guidelines for cutting on the
opposite side. Properly support and clamp the workpiece with the “good” side down, and with the
guidelines clearly visible and unobstructed (above & below) the surface to be cut.
To start the cut, place the front edge of the saw base on the workpiece and align the blade with the
previously drawn guideline. Make sure the blade does not contact the workpiece. Turn the saw on, wait for
the blade to reach full speed and slowly move the blade into the work piece. Apply only enough downward
pressure to keep the saw steady on the workpiece and only enough forward pressure to keep the blade
cutting.
BEVEL CUTTING
Bevel cutting angles may be adjusted from 0° to 45° right or left. Angles for cuts from 0° to 45° in 15°
increments are marked on a scale on both the left and right side of the base.
To adjust the bevel cutting angles
1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Using allen wrench provided, loosen the two base pivot screws until the base can be moved.
3. Slide base backward until base pivot screws can move freely in the grooves in base.
4. Align the mark, on the base, of the the desired angle with the edge of motor housing.
5. Once desired angle is reached, tighten the base pivot screws securely.
6. Insert the battery pack.
INTERIOR CUTOUTS
Aninteriorcutoutisneededwhenacuttingpatternislocatedintheworkpiecewithoutalead-incutfrom
an edge. These cuts can be performed using one of two methods: either using starting holes or by plunge
cutting.
Using starting holes
Withinthecutoutpattern,pre-drilloneormoreholeslargerthensawbladebeingused.Theninsertthe
blade through the hole(s) to start your cut.

Using plunge cutting
WARNING: To avoid loss of control, broken blades, or damage to the
material being cut, always use extreme caution when making plunge cuts. We do
not recommend plunge cutting on materials other than wood.
When using the plunge cutting method, a starting hole or lead in cut from the work piece edge is not
necessary. It is best to practice plunge cutting on scrap wood so the operator becomes familiar with the
technique.
1. Tilt the saw forward so that it rests on the front edge of the base with the blade point positioned just
above the work piece surface.
2. Make sure the blade is inside the area to be cut.
3. Apply downward pressure to the tool so that the front edge of the base will not move when you turn on
the tool.
4. Turn on the tool and gently lower the back end of the saw until the blade contacts the work surface.
5. As the blade pierces the workpiece, slowly lower the base of the tool down onto the workpiece surface
until it is in the normal cutting position.
6. Complete the cut in the normal manner.
SCROLL CUTTING
Scroll cuts can be made with the jig saw by guiding the direction of the cut with applied pressure on the
handle.
WARNING: Excessive side pressure to the blade could result in broken
blades or damage to the material being cut.

BATTERY CHARGER
•SaveTheseInstructions.This manual contains important safety and operating instructions
for your battery charger.
•BeforeUsingthebatteryCharger,read all instructions and cautionary markings on (1)
Battery Charger, (2) Battery , and (3) Product using battery.
•Anextensioncordshouldnotbeusedunlessabsolutelynecessary.Use
of improper extension cord could result in a risk of fire and electric shock. If extension cord must be
used. Make sure:
a) The pins on plug of extension cord are the same number size, and shape as
those of plug on charger.
b) That extension cord is properly wired and in good electrical condition.
c) That wire size is at least as large as the one specified in the table below:

•Useonlythechargerwhich accompanied your product or direct replacements as listed in this
manual. Do not substitute any other charger.

pack to water or rain.
•Donotoperatechargerwithdamagedcordorplug.Replace immediately.
•Donotoperatechargerifithasreceivedasharpblow, been dropped or
otherwise damaged in any way. Take it to a qualified serviceman.
•Donotdisassemblechargerorbatterypack.Take it to a qualified serviceman
when service or repair is required. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of electric shock or fire.
•Donotchargebatterypackwhen temperature is below 50 degrees F (10 degrees C) or
above 104 degrees F (40 degrees C). Store tool and battery pack in a location where temperature will
not exceed 122 degrees F (50 degree C). This is important to prevent serious damage to the battery
cells.
•Placechargeronatnon-ammablesurfaceand away from flammable materials
whenre-chargingthebatterypack.
•Toreduceriskofelectricshock,unplug charger from outlet before attempting any
maintenance or cleaning.
•Ifoperatingtimehasbecomeexcessivelyshorter,stop operating immediately. It
may result in a risk of overheating, possible burns and even an explosion.
•Batteryleakagemayoccurunder extreme usage or temperature conditions. Avoid contact
with skin and eyes. If liquid comes in contact with your skin, wash immediately with soap and water.
If liquid gets into your eyes, wash them out with clear water for at least 10 minutes, and then seek
medical attention right away.

•Donotattempttouseastep-uptransformer,an engine generator or DC power
receptacle.
•Donotshortthebatterypack.Do not touch the terminal with any conductive material.
Avoid storing battery pack in a container with other metal objects such as nails, coins, etc. Always
protect the battery terminals when battery pack is not used.
•Donotchargebatterypackinsideaboxorcontainerofanykind.The
battery must be placed in a well ventilated area during charging.
•Donotallowanythingtocoverorclogthechargervents.
•Donotincineratethebatterypackevenif it is severely damaged or is completely worn
out. The battery pack can explode in a fire.
•DisconnectChargerfromthepowersourcewhennotinuse.This will reduce
the risk to electric shock or damage to the charger if metal pieces should fall into the opening. It also
will help prevent damage to the charger during a power surge.
WARNING: A battery short can cause a large current flow, overheating,
possible burns and even a breakdown.
WARNING: 120 volts are present at charging terminals, do not probe with
conductive objects. Electric shock or electrocution may result. Do not allow any
liquid to get inside charger. Electric shock may result.
OPERATION
NOTE:Always Check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the
ratings plate on your charger.
CHARGING WITH THE DIAGNOSTIC CHARGER
NOTE: Newly purchased batteries are not fully charged and must be charged
before using in your cordless tool(s).
1.PlugthebatterychargerintotheproperACvoltagesource.AsteadyGREENlightwillilluminate
indicating charger is connected to a proper power source.
2. Insert the battery pack so that the ribs on the battery pack slide into the grooves on the battery charger.
Insert the battery pack fully into the charger.
3.Whenthebatterypackisinserted,theGREENcharginglightwillashindicatingthechargerhasstarted
thechargingcycle.AsteadyGREENlightindicatesthebatteryiscompletelychargedandshouldbe
removed from the charger.

4. "A steady RED light after inserting the battery" indicates the battery is too warm to be charged. Once
thebatteryhascooled,theREDlightwillgooffandtheashingGREENlightwillilluminateindicating
the charge cycle has begun.
5. "A RED Light Flashing after inserting the battery" indicates that (1) battery pack has a bad
connection with charger, press the battery into the charging slot a little more to make sure the battery
is fully engaged with charger. OR (2) the battery is defective and needs to be replaced. Please
dispose of the defective battery in the method explained in this manual.
6. After charging, unplug the charger from the power source.
Tips for extending Battery life: Do not store batteries completely discharged. Charge them fully
before storing.
WARNING: Always be sure that the tool is switched off before insertion or
removal of the battery pack.
INSTALLING OR REMOVING BATTERY PACK
• To remove the battery pack, withdraw it from the tool while depressing the tabs on
both sides of the pack.
• To insert the battery pack, align the ribs on the top of the battery with the grooves in the
housing and slide it into place. Always insert it all the way until it locks in place with a little click.
Lightly pull on the battery pack to ensure it is locked into place and will not accidentally fall out of the
drill, causing an injury.
• Do not use force when inserting the battery pack. If the battery does not slide in
easily, it is not being inserted correctly.
IMPORTANT BATTERY INFORMATION: DISPOSING THE BATTERY PACK
• YourbatteriesareLITHIUM-IONrechargeablebatteries.CertainLocal,Stateand  
Federal laws prohibit disposal of these batteries in ordinary trash.

RÈGLES GÉNÉRALES DE SÉCURITÉ
AVERTISSEMENT:
Certaines poussières produites par des appareils électriques de ponçage, sciage,
meulage, perçage et autres travaux de construction contiennent des produits
chimiques connus pour causer cancer, anomalies congénitales et autres atteintes à
la reproduction. Voici quelques exemples de ces produits nocifs :
• plombdespeinturesauplomb,
• silicecristallinedesbriquesetdubétonetd’autresmatériauxdeconstruction,
• arsenicetchromedeboisd’œuvretraitéchimiquement.
Votre risque en cas d’exposition varie, selon la fréquence d’exécution de ce type
de tâches. Pour réduire votre exposition à ces produits : travaillez dans une zone
bien ventilée en portant un équipement de sécurité approuvé, tel que masque à
poussières spécialement conçu pour filtrer les particules microscopiques.

CONSERVEZ CES INSTRUCTIONS
LIEU DE TRAVAIL:
• Gardez propre la zone de travail. Leszonesetétablisendésordreattirentles

SÉCURITÉ ÉLECTRIQUE
• La puissance des bouchons outil doit correspondre à la prise
électrique. Ne jamais modifier la prise en aucune façon. Ne pas utiliser d'adaptateur de

électricienqualié.Nepasmodierlache,dequelquefaçonquecesoit.Ladoubleisolation
éliminelebesoindecordond’alimentationàtroislsetd’uncircuitsecteurmisàlaterre.
•NEPASexposerlesoutilsélectriquesàlapluieoul’humidité. La
pénétrationd’eaudanscesoutilsaccroîtlerisquedechocélectrique.
•Évitertoutcontactducorpsavecdessurfacesmisesàlaterre,telles
quetuyaux,radiateurs,cuisinièresetréfrigérateurs.Lerisquédechocélectriqueestaccrulorsquele
corpsestmisàlaterre.

•NEPASmaltraiterlecordond’alimentation.Ne jamais utiliser le cordon
d’alimentationpourtransporterl’outiletnejamaisdébranchercedernierentirantsurlecordon.
Garderlecordonàl’écartdelachaleur,del’huile,desobjetstranchantsetdespiècesen
mouvement.Remplacerimmédiatementtoutcordonendommagé.Uncordonendommagéaccroîtle
risqued’électrocution.
•Lorsquel'exploitationd'unpouvoirendehorsdesoutils, l'utilisation d'une
rallongeélectriquepouruneutilisationextérieure.Cescordonssontprévuspouruneutilisationà
l'extérieuretderéduirelerisquedechocélectrique.
•NEPASutiliserl'ACnotéeslesoutilsd'unealimentationencourant
continu. Mêmesil'outilsemblefonctionner,lescomposantsélectriquesdel'ACnotéesoutilsont
susceptiblesd'échoueretd'accroîtrelerisquepourl'opérateur.
SÉCURITÉ PERSONNELLE
• Rester attentif, prêter attention au travail et faire prévue de bon sens
lors de l’utilisation de tout outil électrique. Nepasutilisercetoutilenétatde
fatigueousousl’inuencedel’alcool,dedroguesoudemédicaments.Unmomentd’inattention
pendantl’utilisationd’unoutilélectriquepeutentraînerdesblessuresgraves
•Utiliserl’équipementdesécurité.Toujoursporteruneprotection
oculaire. Suivantlesconditions,leportd’unmasqueltrant,dechaussuresdesécurité,d’un
casqueoud’uneprotectionauditiveestrecommandé.
•Portezunetenueappropriée.Neportezpasdevêtementsottants,gants,cravate,
bracelets,montredepoignetouautresbijouxquipeuventêtrehappéspardespiècesen
mouvement.Leportdechaussuresantidérapantesestrecommandé,ainsiqueleportd’une
couverture des cheveux s’ils sont longs..
•Évitezd'undémarrageaccidentel.S'assurer que le commutateur est en position
arrêtavantdebrancherpo.Detransportoutilavecledoigtsurl'interrupteuroudebrancherdes
outilsélectriquesquisontlecommutateurinviteaccidents.
•Enlevezlesclésetoutilsderéglageavantdemettreenmarche. Les
clés,clavettes,déchetsetautresdébrispeuventêtreprojetésàgrandevitesse,etainsicauserdes
graves blessures..
•NEtravaillezpasàboutdebras.Gardezunebonnepostureetunbonéquilibreen
permanence,undéséquilibrepeutamenervotrechutesurlamachineenaction,avecpossibilitéde
blessure.
•SIdispositifssontprévuspourlaconnexiond'extractiondes
poussières et des installations de collecte, d'assurerceux-cisontconnectés
etutiliséscorrectement.L'utilisationdecesappareilspeutréduirelesrisquesliésàlapoussière.
Nepasutiliserl’outilsuruneéchelleouunsupportinstable.Unebonnetenueetunbonéquilibre
permettentdemieuxcontrôlerl’outilencasdesituationimprévue.
•Maintenezl’outilsec,propreetsanshuileougraisse.Utilisez toujours un
chiffonproprepourlenettoyage.N’utilisezjamaisdeuidepourfreins,d’essence,deproduitsà
basedepétrole,nin’importequeltypedesolvantpournettoyerl’outil.
UTILISATION ET ENTRETIEN DE L’OUTIL
• Sécurisation de la pièce à travailler. Utilisezdesserre-jointsouunétaupour
maintenirlapiècetravailléequandc’estpossible.C’estplussûrquedeseservirdesaousesmains

• NE forcez pas sur l’outil. L’outileffectueralatâchedefaçonmeilleureetplussûre
àlavitessedepénétrationpourlaquelleilaétéconçu.Forcersurl’outilpeutéventuellement
endommagerlamachineetentraînerdesblessures.
•Utilisezlebonoutilpourlatâche.Ne forcez pas sur l’outil ou accessoire pour
exécuterunetâchepourlaquelleiln’apasétéconçu.N’utilisezpasl’outilpourunenaliténon
prévuecarvousrisquezdesdégâtsmatérielset/oudesblessurescorporelles.
•N’utilisezpasl’outilsisoninterrupteurdemarche/arrêtfonctionne
mal. Faitesimmédiatementremplacerlesinterrupteursdéfectueuxparuncentrederéparations
agréé.
•Débrancherl’outilavantd’effectuerdesréglages, de changer d’accessoire
ouderangerl’outil.Cesmesuresdesécuritéréduisentlesrisquesdedémarrageaccidentelde
l’outil.
•Rangerlesoutilsnonutiliséshorsdeportéedesenfantsetdes
personnes n’ayant pas reçu de formation adéquate. Entre les mains de
personnesn’ayantpasreçudeformationadéquate,lesoutilssontdangereux.
•Entretenirsoigneusementlesoutils.Vérierqu’aucunepiècemobilen’estmal
alignée,grippéeoubriséeets’assurerqu’aucunautreproblèmenerisquéd’affecterlebon
fonctionnementdel’outil.Encasdedommages,faireréparerl’outilavantdel’utiliserdenouveau.
Denombreuxd’accidentssontcauséspardesoutilsmalentretenir.
•N’utilisezquedesaccessoiresrecommandés.L’utilisation d’accessoires et
équipementsannexesnonrecommandésparleconstructeurounonprévuspourêtreutiliséssur
cetyped’outilpeutcauserdesdégâtsmatérielset/oudesblessurescorporellespourl’utilisateur.
Consultezlemanueld’utilisationpourconnaîtrelesaccessoriesrecommandés.
•Maintenirdesoutilsdecoupenetteetpropre.Bien entretenu avec des outils
decoupedepointesontmoinssusceptiblesdelieretsontplusfacilesàcontrôler.
•Poussezlapièceàtravaillerdanslabonnedirectionàlabonne
vitesse. N’envoyezlapièceverslalamelecouteauoulasurfaceabrasive,selonlamachine,
queensensopposéàlarotationdel’outildecoupe.Unemauvaiseprésentationdelapiècedans
lemêmesensquelarotationdel’outildecoupefaitquelapièceestprojetéeàgrandevitesse.
•NEjamaislaisserl'outilenmarchesanssurveillance.Éteignez l'appareil. Ne
laissezpasl'outiljusqu'àcequ'ilarriveàunarrêtcomplet.
•NEdémarrezjamaisunoutilquanduncomposantrotatifestdéjàen
contact avec la pièce travail lée.
UTILISATION ET ENTRETIEN DES OUTILS À BATTERIE
• Veillez à ce que l’interrupteur soit dans la postion de fermeture avant
d’insérerlablocdebatterie.l’insertiond’unblocdebatteriedansunoutilélectroportatifdon’t
l’interrupeur est dans la position de marche est une invites aux accidents.
• Rechargez avec le chargeur spécifié par le fabricant. Un chargeur qui
convientàuntypedebatteriecréerunrisqued'incendielorsqu'ilestutiliséavecuneautre
batterie.

• Utilisez uniquement des outils électriques conçus spécifié batterie.

• Évitez de stocker la batterie dans un conteneur avec d'autres objets
métalliquestelsquedesclous,despiècesdemonnaie,pinces,clés,visouautrespetitsobjets
métalliquesquipeuventfaireuneconnexionàpartird'unterminalàunautre.Toujoursprotéger
lesbornesdelabatterielorsquelabatterien'estpasutilisée.Lecourt-circuitagedelabatteriedu
terminalsprovoquerdesbrûluresouunincendie.
• Dans des conditions abusives,duliquidepeutêtreéjectédelabatterie,évitertout
contact, si un contact accidentel se produit, rincer avec de l'eau, liquide Si les contacts des yeux,
deplus,chercherdel'aidemédicale.Liquideéjectédelabatteriepeutprovoqueruneirritationou
desbrûlures.
• Les outils fonctionnant sur batteries n’ayant pas besoin d’être
branchés sur une prise secteur;ilssonttoujoursenétatdefonctionnement.Tenir
compte des dangers possibles lorsque l’outil n’est pas en usage et lors du remplacement des
batteries.Lerespectdecetterègleréduiralesrisquesd’incendie,dechocélectriqueetde
blessures graves.
AVERTISSEMENT: L’UTILISATION DE CET OUTIL PEUT GÉNÉRER ET
BRASSER DE LA POUSSIÈRE ET D’AUTRES PARTICULES EN SUSPENSION DANS
L’AIR, COMME SCIURE, SILICE CRISTALLINE ET AMIANTE. Dirigez le flot de
particules hors de votre visage et de votre corps. Faites toujours fonctionner l’outil
dans une zone bien ventilée, et veillez à une bonne évacuation de la poussière.
Utilisez un système de collecte de poussières dans la mesure du possible.
L’exposition aux poussières peut causer des troubles respiratoires ou autres
sérieux et permanents, incluant la silicose (une sérieuse affection des poumons),
le cancer et la mort. Évitez de respirer la poussière et évitez un contact prolongé
avec elle. Si vous laissez entrer la poussière dans votre bouche ou vos yeux, ou
se déposer sur votre peau, vous risquez de provoquer l’absorption de matières
dangereuses. Portez toujours une protection respiratoire approuvée NIOSH/OSHA
bien ajustée convenant à la protection contre les poussières, et lavez les surfaces
de peau exposées à l’eau et au savon.

RÈGLES DE SÉCURITÉ SPÉCIFIQUES POUR
SCIES SAUTEUSES ALIMENTÉ PAR LA BATTERIES
AVERTISSEMENT: NE laissez PAS une fausse sécurité à la suite de
notions provoquées par tout confort et familiarité avec le produit (suite à des
utilisations répétées) remplacer la stricte application des règles de sécurité. Si
vous utilisez cet outil dangereusement et incorrectement, vous pouvez subir de
sérieuses blessures!
AVERTISSEMENT: Tenir l’outil par les surfaces de maintien isolées
pendant l’utilisation quand l’outil de coupe peut entrer en contact avec des fils
cachés. Le contact avec un fil sous tension met aussi sous tensions les pièces
métalliques exposées de l’outil, exposant l’utilisateur à un choc électrique.
•Eviter de découper des clous.Avantlacoupe,vérierlaprésencedeclousdanslebois
etlesretirerlecaséchéant.
•Ne pas découper les tuyaux creux.
• Avant la coupe, s’assurer qu’il y a suffisamment d’espace sous la
pièce,anquelalameneviennepasheurterleplancher,l’établi,etc.
•Avant de mettre l’outil en marche,vérierquelalamen’estpasencontactavecla
pièce.

•Ne pas toucher la lame ou la pièce immédiatement après l’utilisation,
