•Please read safety instruction carefully before using.
•Laser radiation is emitted from this product.
Use of controls, adjustment procedures other than those specied herein
may result in laser radiation exposure. Never stare directly into beam or aim
the laser beams at others.
•This device contains semiconductor laser diodes with wavelengths of 650
nanometers.
•The total continuous output of the beams never exceeds 1.0 milli-watts.
•This Device complies with EMC Test according to EN61000-6-3 :
2001+A11:2004, EN 61000-6-1:2001, EN 61000-4-2, EN 61000-4-3, EN 60825,
FCC Test according to PART 15.
*The working range and accuracy depend on how well the energy of laser is reected from surface
(mostly comes from scattered light) and the target reectivity.
The brightness of laser point to ambient light intensity or use a target plate (Kodak White) may helps for
increasing the working range and the stability of accuracy.
‧This device is powered by 2 x AAA Batteries.
‧Battery status could be check through icon on the screen as .
‧means the battery has 100% power.
‧means the battery has about 60% power.
‧means the battery has about 25% left.
‧means the battery has 5% left and a new full lled battery replacement
is suggested.

THE NEW BENCHMARK OF MEASURING
•Press measure button (B) one time to turn on.
•Screen will be lled out by icons during internally checking.
•Device will get into standby screen and ready for measuring.
•Hold power button (D) for 3 seconds at any screen to turn o device.
•Press measure button (B) to turn on laser then aim at proper target.
•Hold steady and press measure button (B) to measure.
•Result will be displayed on the screen with a beep.
•Hold measure button (B) to active continuous measuring.
•Measuring results will be vary upon movement and showed on the Main screen.
The Maximum and Minimum distance will be displayed on Sub screen.
•Press measure button (B) to stop.
•Press Power button (D) to quit this mode.
•To add rst measurement with later one, press function button (C) to make rst number as summand.
•Then take another measurement and the sum will be displayed on the screen.
•To subtract rst measure with later one, press function button (C)
twice to make rst number as minuend.
•Then take another measurements the subtraction will be displayed on the screen.

De-Assembly:
1. Put the TIO30 upside down and hold the laser distance meter part.
2. Slide the nob (A) to left and hold.
3. Pull down the tape.
4. Finished.
1. Hold the Tape part and Laser Distance Meter part in two hands, and align the notches on the chute.
2. Slide the tape up to the end and against the LDM.
3. The nob (A) will lock automatically when the tape hit the end of LDM.
4. Finished.
Assembly:
Assembly and De-Assembly of TIO30
•TIO30 has three commonly used functions for measuring, you could make select by pressing function
button (C).
•By pressing and holding button (C), functions will be popped up in loop from
AREA -> DIMENSION -> INDIRECT MEASURING.
•Release button to stop looping and make the selection of functions.
•Follow the instructions to measure width and length.
•Area will be calculated and showed on the screen.
•Follow the instructions on the main screen to measure width, length and height.
•Dimension will be calculated and displayed on the screen.
•All the calculations are based on Pythagorean theorem (a+b=c) for height.
•Press function button (C) for 3 times to enable indirect measuring
Follow the instructions on the screen to measure slang lengths and leveling length.
•Measured Results will be displayed on the screen.

•Tio30 has two settings in outer menu. The Two settings are“Unit”and“Reference”.
•Follow the instructions below to access to the outer menu.
•Long-pressing function button (C ).
•Press measure button (B) together.
•Access to Unit and Measuring reference point settings.
•Press Function button(C) and select Unit settings.
•Press measure button(B) and select preferred unit.
•Press red button two times to restart.
•Long-pressing function button (C ).
•Press measure button (B) together.
•Access to Unit and Measuring reference point settings.
•Press Function button(C) and select measuring settings.
•Press measure button(B) to select preferred measuring point.
•Press red button two times to restart.
