Please read this instruction manual before operating
and keep safe for future reference.
SERVICE & WARRANTY
• Do not operate the fan with a damaged cord or plug, after the
fan malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged.
• For your convenience, record the complete model number and
product name (located on the Product Identification
Plate), the date you purchased the product, and attach
your purchase receipt as proof of purchase.
• To ensure your product is covered by warranty, the complete faulty
product together with your purchase receipt should be returned to
your retailer.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION: Read and follow all instructions before operating this
fan.
Use the fan only as described in this manual. Misuse may cause a fire or
an electrical shock.
1. Do not operate the fan with a damaged power cord or plug,
after it malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged. If the power
cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a
qualified service engineer.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this fan is used near children,
the elderly and pets.
3. Always turn the fan off after use, before cleaning, or moving
location.
4. Do not insert fingers or other objects into the fan guard.
5. Do not operate the fan in areas where petrol, paint or other
flammable liquids are used or stored.
6. Do not place the fan near an open flame, cooking or heating
appliance, or hot surface.
7. This fan is not intended for use in wet or damp locations.
Never locate the fan in an area where it may fall into a bath or
other water container.
8. This fan should not be operated outside.
9. Always use on a dry, level surface.
10. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or
counter.
11. Arrange the cord away from an area where it may be tripped
over.
12. Never place the power cord under a carpet or rug.
13. To disconnect from the power supply, grip the plug and pull
from the power socket. Never pull by the cord.
14. Do not hang or mount the fan on a wall or ceiling.
15. Do not operate if the fan guard is removed or damaged.
16. This product is designed for household and light commercial use
ONLY.
BS PLUG WIRING
Wiring Instructions: Should it be necessary to change the plug
please note the wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance
with the following code : BLUE - NEUTRAL
BROWN - LIVE
GREEN AND YELLOW - EARTH
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not
correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your
plug, proceed as follows:
1. The BLUE wire is the NEUTRAL and must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter Nor coloured BLACK.
2. The BROWN wire is the LIVE and must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter Lor coloured RED.
3. The GREEN/YELLOW is the EARTH and must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter Eor or coloured
GREEN OR GREEN/YELLOW.
4. Always ensure that the cord grip is positioned and fastened
correctly.
If a 13A (BS 1363) fused plug is used it must be fitted with a 3A fuse. If
in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

Please note. The Earth Terminal is marked with the letter Eor Earth
Symbol.

PARTS DESCRIPTION
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Loosen and remove the four screws from bar A and bar B. Cross
the 2 bars as shown in Fig.1 and align the four holes with those on
the flange. Secure the flange to the bars with the four screws. Slide
the base cap down over the assembly.
CAUTION: NEVER REMOVE THE SET KNOB, WHICH HOLDS THE
FAN HEAD IN PLACE (See Fig.2)
2. If necessary, slightly loosen the set knob by turning it counter
clockwise. Slide the fan head down over the inner pipe and tighten
the set knob. Make sure the set knob is tightly secured.
3. Unscrew the plastic collar from the shaft end of the motor housing
by turning the collar counter-clockwise.
4. Mount the rear grille to the motor housing, by matching the 2 holes
on the rear grille to the 2 round pins on the front of the motor
housing. Push in firmly until the 2 pins protrude through the 2
holes.
5. Secure the rear grille to the motor housing with the plastic collar.
6. Insert the blade onto the motor shaft, matching the slot on the back
of the blade with the shaft pin (Fig.2). Secure blade with blade cap,
turning counter-clockwise to tighten.
7. Test blade operation by rotating it with your hand. There should be
no friction with the plastic collar. If blade does not rotate freely,
repeat Steps 4 to 7.
8. Open all securing clips on the front grille and unscrew safety nut.
9. Hook front grille onto back grille and rotate until safety nut holes
are aligned. Secure safety nut & bolt with screwdriver.
10. Close remaining safety clips firmly to hold grilles together.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the fan on a safe flat surface.
2. To adjust height, loosen the Height Adjustment Control Collar.
Adjust to the desired height and retighten.
3. Control the direction of the airflow by firmly holding the stand in
one hand and pushing the fan grille back to tilt up or by pushing it
forward to tilt down.
4. To make the fan oscillate, push down on the oscillating knob
located on the top of the motor housing. To stop the fan from
oscillating, pull up on the oscillating knob.

6. Choose the desired speed by pushing the speed control buttons
Button to LOW, MED or HIGH.
MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning turn the fan off and unplug from the power
supply.
2. To clean the fan use a soft cloth to wipe off any dust. If the fan
is very dirty use a damp cloth and wipe dry. Do not use any
cleaning detergents, sprays or other chemicals, as they will
damage the fan.
3. Store the fan in the original packaging in a ventilated dry area.
4. The motor bearings are permanently sealed and do not
require additional lubrication.
