ARCUS250T SETUP

I. INITIAL
SETUP

1. Turn on your computer.
2. Go to www.primusgaming.com/software to download the driver software.
3. To start the installation, double click the Setup.exe file.
4. Once the Welcome setup screen is displayed, click Next to continue.
5. In this step, you will be asked to Accept the License Agreement. Click the Next button.

6. You are now ready to install your brand new Primus PHS-250 (ARCUS 250S) Gaming Headset.
Once you click Install, the system will ask you to connect the headset to a USB port on your PC.
7. Module interface connection
You must use the module to install the software, and also to enable the 7.1 channel sound effect.
To do so, follow steps from 1 to 6 included in the card.

NOTE: IF A HEASET WITH ONLY USB CONECTOR IS PLUGGED INTO THE
MODULE'S USB PORT 2, THE AUDIO WILL BE RE-DIRECTED TO THAT HEADSET.
• Once the connection is stablished, the configuration of the device will start in your PC. To
proceed, follow the prompts on the screen.

• Click on Install, as shown below.
• Then accept by clicking OK.

8. In order to complete the installation process, you will need to restart your PC. Click OK
when prompted. Select Finish once you are ready to conclude rebooting the system.
• This screen will display the progress bar of the software being downloaded.

This gaming software allows you to configure the
headset through a single user-friendly application.
II. CONFIGURATION

A. Main software interface
1. The headphones must be plugged in
order to start the software.
2. The user will be initially prompted to
activate the device. In this window, you
can also click on Don’t show this
message again, if you prefer to disable
the popup every time you start the
software. Click Exit when you are done.
3. The main screen for the PRIMUS
PHS-250 gaming headset will be now
displayed.
4. The control panel at the top shows the
current settings that are enabled or not
enabled on your headset. If you click
the Double arrow icon, you will see
the different default profiles and allow
you to save your own custom profile, if
you choose to do so.
5. Once you have configured the settings
according to your own preferences,
proceed to click the plus + icon.
Proceed to enter a Profile Name and
Profile Description. Click OK when
done.

6. To delete a profile, select the one you
wish to eliminate and click the minus _
icon. Choose Delete. A confirmation
popup will be displayed, click Yes to
permanently delete the profile.
III. Application settings
1. Click on the cogwheel at the top of the
software screen.
2. This will bring up the software settings
menu. Here you can select to Show or
Not Show the System Tray Icon,
Change the UI Transparency by using
the slider, Select the Language of your
choice (English or Spanish) and to
enable/disable the Startup message.

IV. Speaker controls
1. If you right click on the Speaker icon, it
will bring up a set of menus.
2. These include: Volume Control, Sample
Rate, Equalizer, Environment Effects,
7.1 Virtual Speaker shifter, Xear
SingFX, Xear Surround Max.
3. Volume Control: it allows you to raise
and lower the main volume with the
slider under Master. You can also
individually adjust the volume level of
the Left and Right speakers with the
slider under Front. The headset can
be muted by clicking the Speaker
icon. To unmute, simply click the
Speaker icon once again.
