Before carrying out any operations with the unit,
carefully read this instruction manual, and keep it
with cure for future reference.
It contains important information about the
installation, usage and maintenance of the unit.
SAFETY
General instruction
• The products referred to in this manual con-
form to the European Community Directives
and are therefore marked with .
• The unit is supplied with hazardous network
voltage (230V~). Leave servicing to skilled
personnel only. Never make any modifica-
tions on the unit not described in this in-
struction manual, otherwise you will risk an
electric shock.
• Connection must be made to a power supply
system fitted with efficient earthing (Class I
appliance according to standard EN 60598-
1). It is, moreover, recommended to protect
the supply lines of the units from indirect
contact and/or shorting to earth by using ap-
propriately sized residual current devices.
• The connection to the main network of elec-
tric distribution must be carried out by a
qualified electrical installer. Check that the
main frequency and voltage correspond to
those for which the unit is designed as given
on the electrical data label.
• This unit is not for home use, only profes-
sional applications.
• Make certain that no inflammable liquids,
water or metal objects enter the fixture.
• Do not dismantle or modify the fixture.
• All work must always be carried out by quali-
fied technical personnel. Contact the nearest
sales point for an inspection or contact the
manufacturer directly.
• If the unit is to be put out of operation defini-
tively, take it to a local recycling plant for a
disposal which is not harmful to the environ-
ment.

• I prodotti a cui questo manuale si riferisce sono
conformi alle Direttive della Comunità Euro-
pea e pertanto recano la sigla .
• Il dispositivo funziona con pericolosa tensione
di rete 230V~. Non intervenire mai al suo in-
terno al di fuori delle operazioni descritte nel
presente manuale; esiste il pericolo di una sca-
rica elettrica.
• È obbligatorio effettuare il collegamento ad
un impianto di alimentazione dotato di un’ef-
ficiente messa a terra (apparecchio di Classe I
secondo norma EN 60598-1). Si raccomanda,
inoltre, di proteggere le linee di alimentazione
delle unità dai contatti indiretti e/o cortocircui-
ti verso massa tramite l’uso di interruttori diffe-
renziali opportunamente dimensionati.
• Le operazioni di collegamento alla rete di
distribuzione dell’energia elettrica devono
essere effettuate da un installatore elettrico
qualificato. Verificare che frequenza e tensione
della rete corrispondono alla frequenza ed alla
tensione per cui l’unità è predisposta, indicate
sulla targhetta dei dati elettrici.
• L’unità non per uso domestico, solo per uso
professionale.
• Evitare che nell’unità penetrino liquidi infiam-
mabili, acqua o oggetti metallici.
• Non smontare e non apportare modifiche
all’unità.
• Tutti gli interventi devono essere sempre e
solo effettuati da personale tecnico qualifica-
to. Rivolgersi al più vicino centro di assistenza
tecnica autorizzato.
• Se si desidera eliminare il dispositivo definiti-
vamente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento
ad un’istituzione locale per il riciclaggio.

Attenzioni e precauzioni per l’installazione
• Questo prodotto è solo per uso interno.
• Se il dispositivo dovesse trovarsi ad operare
in condizioni differenti da quelle descritte nel
presente manuale, potrebbero verificarsi dei
danni; in tal caso la garanzia verrebbe a deca-
dere. Inoltre, ogni altra operazione potrebbe
provocare cortocircuiti, incendi, scosse elettri-
che, rotture ect.
• Evitare di installare l’unità in luoghi eccessiva-
mente polverosi.
• Evitare di installare l’unità in prossimità di fonti
di calore o in prossimità di apparati (inclusi am-
plificatori) che producono calore.
• Non utilizzare questo apparecchio vicino all’ac-
qua. Questo prodotto non è impermeabile. Se
liquidi dovessero entrare nell’unità scollegarla
dalla rete di alimentazione. Rivolgersi al centro
di assistenza tecnica autorizzato per le condi-
zioni di sicurezza all’utilizzo.
• Non poggiare altri oggetti sull’unità.
• Non aprire e non modificare il dispositivo.
• Collocare o posizionare il prodotto in modo
che non ci siano ostruzioni alla ventilazione
e dissipazione di calore. Non installare in uno
spazio limitato.
• Assicurarsi che il cavo di alimentazione non sia
rovinato. Controllare prima di ogni utilizzo.
• Prima di iniziare qualsiasi operazione di manu-
tenzione o pulizia disconnettere l’unità dalla
rete di alimentazione.
• Per la pulizia del prodotto non usare solventi
tipo acetone o alcool per non danneggiare la
finitura esterna e le serigrafie dei pannelli.
• Se il dispositivo cade o subisce gravi urti, scol-
legare immediatamente la spina di alimen-
tazione. Chiamare un tecnico qualificato per
verificare la sicurezza del prodotto.
Warnings and installation precautions
• For inside use only. Not designed for outside
use.
• If this device will be operated in any way differ-
ent to the one described in this manual, it may
suffer damages and the guarantee becomes
void. Furthermore, any other operation may
lead to dangers like short circuit, burns, elec-
tric shock, ect.
• Do not install the fixture in excessively dusty
places.
• Do not install the fixture near sources of heat
or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that
produce heat.
• Do not use this apparatus near water. This ma-
chine is not water - proof. If liquids enter the
hazer machine case, immediately disconnect
power supply. Contact a service technician to
determine safety for use.
• Do not place other items on top of the fixture.
• Do not open the device and do not modify the
device.
• The fixture must be located in a place where a
proper ventilation or thermal dissipation is not
impeded. Do not install the fixture in a con-
fined space.
• Make sure that the power cord is not dam-
aged. Check before each use.
• Before starting any maintenance work or cleaning
the unit, cut off power from the main supply.
• When cleaning unit, please do not use solvents
such as acetone or alcohol, since they may
damage the of the unit outer finish and the
printings on the panels.
• If device is dropped or struck, disconnect
mains power supply immediately. Have a qual-
ified engineer inspect for safety before operat-
ing.

Spedizioni e reclami
Le merci sono vendute “franco nostra sede” e
viaggiano sempre a rischio e pericolo del distri-
butore/cliente. Eventuali avarie e danni dovran-
no essere contestati al vettore. Ogni reclamo
per imballi manomessi dovrà essere inoltrato
entro 8 giorni dal ricevimento della merce.
Garanzie e resi
Il prodotto è coperto da garanzia in base alle
vigenti normative.

tare il testo integrale delle “Condizioni Generali
di Garanzia”. Si prega, dopo l’acquisto, di pro-
cedere alla registrazione del prodotto sul sito
www.musiclights.it. In alternativa il prodotto
può essere registrato compilando e inviando il
modulo riportato alla fine del manuale. A tut-
ti gli effetti la validità della garanzia è avallata
unicamente dalla presentazione del certificato
di garanzia. Music & Lights constata tramite ve-
rifica sui resi la difettosità dichiarata, correlata
all’appropriato utilizzo, e l’effettiva validità della
garanzia; provvede quindi alla riparazione dei
prodotti, declinando tuttavia ogni obbligo di
risarcimento per danni diretti o indiretti even-
tualmente derivanti dalla difettosità.

Shipments and claims
The goods are sold “ex works” and always travel
at the risk and danger of the distributor. Eventual
damage will have to be claimed to the freight
forwarder. Any claim for broken packs will have
to be forwarded within 8 days from the reception
of the goods.
Warranty and returns
The guarantee covers the fixture in compliance
with existing regulations. You can find the full
version of the“General Guarantee Conditions”on

Please remember to register the piece of equip-
ment soon after you purchase it, logging on
www.musiclights.it. The product can be also reg-
istered filling in and sending the form available
on your guarantee certificate. For all purposes,
the validity of the guarantee is endorsed solely
on presentation of the guarantee certificate. Mu-
sic & Lights will verify the validity of the claim
through examination of the defect in relation to
proper use and the actual validity of the guar-
antee. Music & Lights will eventually provide
replacement or repair of the products declining,
however, any obligation of compensation for di-
rect or indirect damage resulting from faultiness.

- 2 - INSTALLAZIONE
2.1 MONTAGGIO
Collocare l’AM5RCS su un tavolo, una superficie
stabile o rack. In ogni caso dev’essere possibile
che l’aria circoli liberamente attraverso tutte le
fessure di aerazione per garantire un raffredda-
mento sufficiente del prodotto.
Sollevare delicatamente il microfono dalla con-
fezione e inserirlo nell’apposita fessura collocata
sulla base. Assicurarsi che il microfono si ben in-
serito.
Fissare saldamente il microfono alla base strin-
gendo la vite collocata alla base del microfono.
- 3 - FUNZIONI E IMPOSTAZIONI
3.1 COLLEGAMENTO
Prendete il cavo di rete dalla confezione. Inserire
una estremità nella porta RJ45 dell’unità e l’al-
tra estremità nella porta RJ45 dell’amplificatore
(fig.3).
3.2 FUNZIONAMENTO
Seguire questa procedura per il funzionamento
del microfono
• Regolare la manopola del volume del micro-
fono (8) sul livello minimo.
• Accendere l’amplificatore e regolare il volume
principale al livello desiderato.
• Selezionare sull’unità il canale desiderato.
3.3 IMPOSTAZIONE DEI VOLUMI
• Agire sul controllo del livello del volume del
microfono (8) dell’unità fino a raggiungere il
volume desiderato e assicurarsi che l’indicato-
re led CLIP non si accenda.
NOTA - Se l’indicatore led giallo (0dB) e l’indica-
tore led rosso (CLIP) si accendono, l’ingresso del
microfono è troppo alto. Assicurarsi quindi che il
livello di uscita sia sempre inferiore ai 0dB.
ATTENZIONE - Quando la spia CLIP lampeggia in
rosso, ridurre immediatamente il volume dell’au-
dio (8). Se il clipping si verifica per troppo tempo,
l’amplificatore e i diffusori potrebbero danneg-
giarsi.
- 2 - INSTALLATION
2.1 MOUNTING
Place the AM5RCS on a table, a stable surface or
rack. In any case it must be possible that the air
can circulate freely through all the vents to en-
sure adequate cooling of the product.
Gently pry the microphone from its packaging
and insert it into the slot located on the base.
Make sure the microphone is firmly attached.
Secure the microphone at the base by tightening
the screw located at the base of the microphone.
- 3 - FUNCTIONS AND SETTINGS
3.1 CONNECTION
Take the network cable from the box. Plug one
end into the RJ45 port of the unit and the other
end into the RJ45 port of the amplifier (Fig. 3).
3.2 OPERATION
Follow this procedure for the operation of the
microphone
• Adjust the microphone volume knob (8) to
the minimum level.
• Turn on the amplifier and adjust the master
volume to the desired level.
• Select the desired channel on the unit.
3.3 ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
• Act on the control of the microphone volume
level (8) of the unit until you reach the desired
volume and make sure that the CLIP led indi-
cator does not light.
NOTE - If the yellow led indicator (0dB) and the
red led indicator (CLIP) light, the microphone in-
put is too high. Then ensure that the output level
is always lower than 0dB.
WARNING - When the CLIP indicator red light
flashes, immediately reduce the audio volume
(8). If clipping occurs for too long, the amplifier
and the speakers may be damaged.
