Disconnect the power from the controller.

Insert the phone
jack from the power
supply to the modem.
Connect the
antenna to the
modem and place it
up high so that it has
optimum visibility
towards the GSM/
GPRS centre and
granting it the proper
coverage.
Connect the
three-metre telephone
cable (telephone jack)
to the RS232 port of
the A7000 and (SUBD9)
to the modem.
If you use the
provided Progrés
SIM card, see the
attached instructions.

If you use your own, deactivate the PIN, remove the
provided card (press until you hear a click), and insert
your own card according to the drawing on the modem.
Using a screwdriver, push the card into the slot until you
hear a click.

Power up the controller and the modem.
Follow the instructions in the controller manual to configure the communications.

Connect the antenna to the modem before powering up
the controller.
IMPORTANT
Once you have followed
all the steps, the installation of
the GPRS modem is complete.
The orange LED on the modem will begin to flash.
When the modem has found coverage, the LED will remain
o, periodically flashing.
