K422 ASSEMBLY AND FITTING

1 x Step Ladder for higher ehicles

1. Fitting Feet Assemb ies to Legs
•
emove crossbar and this kit parts from the
packaging.
•Follow step 1-3 of crossbar assembly instructions.
•emove clamp block by pressing it backwards.
•emove both pins from each leg. (use
spanner/screwdriver located inside one of the left
hand covers to assist)

epeat 1.1-1.3 for all four legs
•Store these parts in a safe place. They
are not required for this fitting kit.
•
While holding crossbar, detach foot from leg.

•Turn the crossbar upside down and use
the M6 x 12 mm capscrews to secure the
feet assembly using the Hex Screwdriver
supplied with the crossbar.
•epeat on all for legs
•Select four feet assemblies and match
the left and right assemblies to the left
and right roof rack legs.
•Use the M5 x 12 mm self tapping screws
to secure feet assemblies to leg.

• Slide clamp through opening in the leg
(see step 2.1).
•Ensure that the two pins of the clamp
engage correctly with the holes in the roof
rail.
•Thread the coach bolt through the clamp
and the leg.
•Tighten the red plastic knob. Do Not Over

•Ensure the red plastic knob is in the position
above and refit covers.
•epeat for all four legs.

• Locate two holes at each position along the roof
rail.
• Place crossbars approximately above these
holes on roof rails.
