General Safety
Instructions
Prowinch®’s winches are designed for delivering a safe and
trustable service if they are operated according to this manual.
This manual contains important information to help you
properly install, operate and maintain your hoist for maximum
performance, economy and safety.
Please study its contents thoroughly before putting your hoist
intooperation.Bypracticingcorrect operatingproceduresand
by carrying out the recommended preventive maintenance
suggestions, you will experience long, dependable and safe
service. After you have completely familiarized yourself with
the contents of this manual, we recommend that you carefully

Your winch can generate great force and if used unsafely or
incorrectly can hurt, can cause injury or death. This manual
includes the following symbols for caution , warning and
danger. Please observe the following notes symbols are
written for your safety. The safe operation of this device
depends on you , the operator.

General Safety
Instructions
2.1. Handling Precautions:
- Keep the winch in best conditions. Failure to adequately
align, support, or attach winch to a suitable mounting
base could result in a loss of efciency or premature failure
of winch, wire rope, or mounting base.
- Do not use any chain or cable that was not designed for
the unit you are using.
- To avoid an electrical discharge, make sure that your
equipment is adequately grounded, by certied personnel.
- Make sure the winch works properly without load , before
applying loads.
- Do not lift weight with the edge of the hook.
- Do not perform lifting with more than one winch at once.
- Never exceed the maximum weight lifting capacity.
- Disconnect the equipment from the power supply in order
to avoid any involuntary use.
- Do not use pulleys or accessories that are not approved
for this winch.
2.2. Wear appropriate protective clothing:
- Do not use loose clothing or any jewellery when operating
this equipment.
- You must wear protective leather gloves when handling
the winch rope.
- You must wear non-slippery safety footware,safety helmet.
- Long hair must be tied back to operate this equipment.
- You must wear appropiate safety glasses to operate this
equipment.
2.3. Keep a safe distance:
- Always stand clear, keep hands clear, keep others away at
least 1.5 times the lenght of the wich rope. Wire rope can
break without warning.
- Never touch the rope or hook while they are in tension
or under load. Even at rest, the winch may have the rope
in tension. Never guide a rope under tension onto the
drum with your hands.
2.4. Power cord misuse:
- Do not lift the winch or any equipment from the power cord.
- Never route electrical cables across sharp edges.
- Never route electrical cables near parts that get hot.
- Never route electrical cables through or near moving parts.
- Never route electrical cables over battery terminals.
- Always insulate and protect all exposed wiring and
electrical terminals.
2.5. Do not overwork the equipment:
- If the motor overheads, stop any operations let the winch
cold, check for any damage before restart operation.
- If the winch stops during it’s operation, stop and check for
any damage before restart operation.
- Do not exceed maximum rated capacity.
2.6. Check for damaged parts:
- Before using this equipment, check for any visual damage
in the motor or wire rope.
2.7. Winch repair:
- In order to repair a Prowinch® winch, use only original
Prowinch® parts. Using unauthorized parts will void
warranty.
2.8. Winding the winch cable:
- You must wear leather gloves to handling the winch rope.
To proceed properly you need to apply and maintain a
small load on the rope. While the operator winds the rope
someone else should lead to correct location. Start as far
as possible keeping it centered.
- Do not let the winch rope falls off and always keep a safe
distance from the winch.
- Repeat this process until one (1) meter of cable was been
left unwind.
- Disconnect the remote or/and from the power source.
- The last ve wraps of wire rope must be left on the drum
to assist the wire rope clamp in holding the load.

2. This winch is designed to pull , not to get up!
3. Never put your hand or anything else near the gear, drum or
wire is wound. Always wear gloves when operating the winch.
4. Never try to repair or disassemble the winch in case of pro-
blems . Get help from a qualied operator or a specialist .
5. When replacing the cable , make sure the end of the cable
passes through the 4 holes on the side of the drum and tie a
stopper or a cap at the end of the cable to prevent this from
coming out.
6. Use grease the shaft and the gear before storing for prolon-
ged periods.
7. Check daily status piola steel hook state .
8. Check status fat.
2. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Winches facility in not properly aligned basis without the exact anchor dri-
lling immediately invalidate the unit warranty .
CAUTION
The customer assumes responsibility to install your unit by qualied and meet
the standards required in this manual people. A poor installation can cause
serious accidents to users and close to the place of operation of the unit people.
Poor or improper installation the warranty will expire immediately the unit, as
in the case of making an electrical connection that does not meet the specica-
tions described in the User Manual and Safety Precautions in each unit or the
general rules for consumption.

1. Ratchet Switch - This switch has 3 positions. The highest
position is to pull. The lowest position is to release. The midd-
le position is for both pull and release, but can only be used
when you are no load. When the winch is loaded, hold the
handle rmly if you want to change the switch position.
2. Before use, install the winch on a rm, at surface. To install,
turn the ratchet switch in the middle position and pull the
cable out until the nal hole of the base are visible. Then use
at least 3 sets of bolts and nuts 3/8 “in a triangular pattern to
secure the base to the surface. If necessary, use an extra sheet
of metal or hardwood.
3. Then install the crank shaft with screw and nut.
4. Place the ratchet switch in the highest position and turn
the crank clockwise to pull a watch. Put the switch pawl in the
lower position and turn the crank in the opposite direction to
a clockwise to loosen.

PROWINCH products are warranted to the original purchaser
for a period of three (3) years after the date of purchase only
to be free from defects in material and workmanship when
subjected to normal, proper and intended use. Within this
period, PROWINCH will only repair or replace free of charge
any part on a product, after examination, is determined by
PROWINCH to be defective in material or workmanship and
wasnot caused or substantially contributedto byother factors
or circumstances beyond PROWINCH control, including (but
not limited to) defective installation, maintenance or repair,
product modication or alteration, any neglect misuse or
excessive use, mishandling, product exposure to extreme
or unsuitable conditions, normal wear and tear or failure to
follow manufacturer’s instructions. This warranty does not
apply to damage that PROWINCH determines to be from
repairs made or attempted by anyone other than PROWINCH
authorized personnel.
Return of the product with a copy of proof of purchase
to PROWINCH, freight prepaid and insured, are required
for this warranty to be effective. If more than one year has
elapsed from purchase date, proof of periodic and regular
maintenance by an authorized service must also be provided
for this warranty to be effective. PROWINCH does not cover
freight or labor charges associated with the inspection and
testing of products which are found by PROWINCH not to be
a valid warranty claim.
DISCLAIMER
In no event shall PROWINCH be liable for any labor, removal
and installation expenses, loss of time, manufacturing costs,
transportation, materials, loss of prots, incidental, special,
consequential or punitive damages, or for any costs, attorney
fees, expenses, losses or delays, direct or indirect, alleged to
be as a consequence of any damage to, failure of, or defect
in any product including, but not limited to, any claims for
loss of prots. PROWINCH disclaims any implied warranties,
including without limitation, any implied warranty of
merchantability or tness for a particular use or purpose.
Acceptance of the exclusive repair and replacement remedies
described herein is a condition of the contract for the
purchase of every PROWINCH product. If you do not agree to
this condition, you should not purchase the product.

Gracias por adquirir un Winche Prowinch®. Este manual describe
las precauciones de operación y advertencias del Winche. Toda
información incluida en este manual se basa en las últimas
actualizaciones disponibles.
Aplicaciones del Winche
El Winche Prowinch® está diseñado para brindar un servicio
seguro y able si está operado de acuerdo a las instruccio-
nes. Respete las precauciones para su seguridad personal y
la seguridad de otras personas. La operación indebida del
equipo puede causar heridas y daño al equipo.
Su Winche puede generar mucha fuerza y si se usa de forma in-
segura o incorrecta puede hacer daño, puede causar heridas o
muerte. En este manual se encuentran los siguientes símbolos
para precaución, avisos y peligro. Haga caso a las notas que si-

1. PRECAUCIONES GENERALES DE SEGURIDAD
Uso Obligatorio de:

ATENCIÓN: Este símbolo indica que hay una
situación peligrosa que si no se evita puede
causar heridas menores o moderadas. Esta
nota también es usada para avisar sobre
prácticas inseguras.
PELIGRO: Este símbolo indica una situación
peligrosa que si no se evita, puede causar
heridas graves o muerte.
PELIGRO
Tanto los usuarios como todas las personas que se encuentren al alcance del cable de acero o de
la proyección de su carga, estarán en todo momento obligados a utilizar los elementos de segu-
ridad exigidos para la operación de esta unidad, a saber: guantes, casco de trabajo, zapatos de
seguridad y protección de policarbonato para la vista.
1. Use ropa y protección adecuada:
- No use ropa suelta ni joyas. Se pueden enganchar en las par-
tes que se mueven.
- Use guantes de cuero cuando toque el cable del Winche. No
toque el cable con las manos desnudas ya que hebras rotas
pueden causar heridas.
- Es recomendable que use zapatos de seguridad antideslizantes.
- Use algún tipo de protección para contener pelo largo.
- Siempre use gafas protectoras. Use algo para proteger toda
la cara si está sacando astillas de madera o de metal. Use una
mascarilla de respiración para el polvo cuando hay metal, ma-
dera y polvo de químicos.
2. No deje que niños se acerquen
- Nunca permita que niños estén en el área de trabajo. No per-
mita que toquen las máquinas, el equipo y sus partes ni los
cables de acero.
3. Guarde el equipo y sus partes:
- Cuando no están en uso el equipo y sus partes deben es-
tar guardados en un lugar seco para prevenir que se oxiden.
Siempre guarde el equipo y sus partes y déjelos lejos del al-
cance de niños.
4. Mantenga el equipo y sus partes en buenas condiciones:
- Mantenga el equipo y sus partes ordenados y limpios para
un comportamiento seguro. Siga las instrucciones para lubri-
car y para cambiar los accesorios. Revise los cables del equi-
po y si están dañados llévelos a un técnico autorizado para
repararlos.
5. Mantenga una distancia segura del Winche:
-Asegúrese que todas las personas estén lejos del cable del
Winche y la carga cuando está en operación. Es recomenda-
ble que esa distancia sea 1,5 veces la longitud del cable. Si el
cable se suelta o se rompe por la carga, puede azotar y causar
daño personal grave o muerte.
- No pase por encima del cable durante su uso.

PRECAUCIÓN
Las precauciones de seguridad e instrucciones presentadas en este manual no pueden cubrir
todas las condiciones y situaciones posibles que pueden ocurrir, Por lo que el operador debe en-
tender que el sentido común y caución son factores que no se pueden expresar en este manual y
que deben ser considerados en todo momento por el operador.

- Es necesario asegurar que todos los visitantes y espectado-
res se queden lejos del área de trabajo.
- Mantenga su atención todo el tiempo.
6. Revise las partes dañadas:
- Antes de usar cualquier equipo, revíselo para ver si está daña-
do. Revise la alineación y las partes que se mueven. Revise las
partes integrantes del montaje ya que si no están en perfectas
condiciones, puede hacer que el Winche no funcione bien.
7. Repare el Winche:
- Cuando haga reparaciones al Winche sólo use repuestos
Prowinch® originales. El uso de cualquier otro repuesto hará
que la garantía caduque y quede sin efecto. Sólo use accesorios
fabricados para este Winche.
8. Enrollar el cable:
- Debe llevar guantes de cuero para enrollar el cable. Para
enrollar correctamente, es necesario mantener una carga pe-
queña en el cable. Tome el cable con una mano y el control
remoto con la otra. Camine con la carga en el cable mientras
el Winche enrolla.
- No permita que el cable se deslice en la mano y no se acer-
que al Winche.
- Suelte el botón de control y repita el proceso hasta que ase-
gure el gancho.
PRECAUCIÓN
Es responsabilidad del usuario revisar periódicamente el estado del cable de acero, anclaje o
cualquier pieza que pueda estar suelta gastada o dañada, tanto en la unidad como en el objeto
a remolcar.

1. Nunca sobrecargue.
2. Este winche está diseñado para tirar, no para levantar!
3. Nunca ponga su mano o cualquier otra cosa cerca del en-
granaje, del tambor o del cable que se enrolla. Siempre utilice
guantes cuando opere el winche.
4. Nunca trate de reparar o desarmar el winche en caso
de problemas. Pida ayuda a un operador calicado o a un
especialista.
5. Al reemplazar el cable, asegúrese que el nal del cable pase
por los 4 hoyos al costado del tambor y amarre un tope o un
casquete al nal del cable que prevenga que este se salga.
6. Utilice grasa para el eje y los engranajes antes de almacenar
por periodos prolongados.
7. Vericar diariamente estado de piola de acero y estado de
gancho.
8. Chequear estado de grasa.
2. INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN
a. Instalación del Winche
PRECAUCIÓN
Una instalación de Winches en bases no adecuadamente alineadas y sin las perforaciones
exactas de anclaje, caducará inmediatamente la garantía de la unidad.
PRECAUCIÓN
El cliente asume la responsabilidad de hacer instalar su unidad por personas calicadas y que
cumplan con las normas exigidas en este manual. Una instalación no adecuada puede producir
graves accidentes a los usuarios y personas cercanas al lugar de operación de la unidad. Una ins-
talación deciente o incorrecta hará caducar inmediatamente la garantía de la unidad, al igual
que en el caso de realizar una conexión eléctrica que no cumpla con las especicaciones descri-
tas en el Manual de Usuario y Advertencias de Seguridad de cada unidad o las normas generales
para su consumo.

1. Switch Trinquete - Este switch tiene 3 posiciones. La posi-
ción más alta es para tirar. La posición más baja es para soltar.
La posición del medio es para ambos, tirar y soltar, pero solo
se puede utilizar cuando se encuentre SIN carga. Cuando el
winche está cargado, mantenga la manivela rmemente si
quiere cambiar el switch de posición.
2. Antes de utilizar, instale el winche en una supercie rme
y plana. Para instalarlo, ponga el switch del trinquete en la
posición del medio y tire el cable hacia afuera hasta que los
hoyos del nal de la base sean visibles. Luego use a lo menos
3 sets de tornillos y tuercas de 3/8” en un patrón triangular
para jar la base a la supercie. De ser necesario utilice una
plancha extra de metal o de madera dura.
3. Luego instale la manivela al eje con el tornillo y la tuerca.
4. Ponga el switch del trinquete en la posición más alta y gire
la manivela en el sentido de las agujas de un reloj para tirar.
Ponga el switch del trinquete en la posición más baja para y
gire la manivela en el sentido contrario a las agujas de un reloj
para soltar.

4. GARANTÍA
Garantía
Prowinch garantiza por 3 años a partir de la fecha de compra,
el funcionamiento de este producto contra cualquier defecto
en los materiales y mano de obra empleados para su fabrica-
ción. Nuestra garantía incluye la reparación o cambio de com-
ponentes sin cargo alguno para el cliente, incluyendo mano
de obra.

Prowinch se compromete a entregar el producto en un lap-
so no mayor de 30 días contados a partir de la fecha de re-
cepción del mismo en nuestros talleres de servicio. No asu-
mirá responsabilidad alguna en caso de demora del servicio
por causas de fuerza mayor.

LIMITACIÓN DE LA RESPONSABILIDAD.

1. Toda garantía es dada en nuestras instalaciones.

2. En el caso se solicite visita técnica a terreno, está siempre
será cancelada por parte del cliente, independiente de que
en ella se hagan servicios sin costo cubiertos por la garantía.
Se entiende como visita técnica a terreno a los costos invo-
lucrados por el traslado del personal, transporte, combusti-
ble, alimentación, alojamiento, horas extra, etc.

3. Esta garantía no cubre daños consecuenciales, ocasiona-
dos por el paro del equipo bajo revisión, no cubre costos de
traslado de los equipos, desmontaje, traslado de personal,
lucro cesante, faenas detenidas o cualquier otro costo que
sepudiese relacionar al cese de funcionamiento de un equi-
po ya sea por cualquier razón o motivo.
4. Para hacer efectiva esta garantía, será necesario:
a) Dentro del primer año solo presentar la factura o boleta
de compra.
b) Luego del primero año transcurrido, comprobantes de
mantenimientos anuales en servicios autorizados.


EXCLUSIONES
ESTA GARANTIA NO SERÁ VÁLIDA BAJO LAS SIGUIENTES
CONDICIONES

1. Cuando el uso, cuidado, instalación y operación del pro-
ducto no haya sido de acuerdo con las instrucciones con-
tenidas en el manual de operación y las Normas aplicadas
correspondientes a cada equipo.
2. Falta de mantenimiento preventivo por parte del usuario,
según lo estipulado en el Manual deOperación y Manteni-
miento del Equipo.
3. Falta de mantenimiento preventivo anual en un distribui-
dor Prowinch autorizado.
4. Cuando el producto haya sido usado fuera de su capaci-
dad, maltratado, golpeado, expuesto a la humedad, mojado
por algún líquido o substancia corrosiva, así como por cual-
quiera otra falla atribuible al consumidor, uso inadecuado
del equipo, abuso o negligencia.
