The QA860HiFilossless digitalmusicplayer(hereinafterreferred toasQA860)isasetof
digitalplayer,DAC,headphone amplifierinone cost-effectiveHiFiequipment.QLS-HiFiinits
hot-selling productsbased onQA660once againraisethe levelofthe digitaloutput,and spend
morethan twoyears developing DAC,ampcircuit,adozen timesforthe majorityofthe

2. Play Operation
2.1. Starting Up
Plug in the powercord, turnon the powersupply, then you can start up.
2.2. Mute
When you press theremotecontroltothe upperleft cornerofthe MUTEbutton,the playerwill
entersilentmode and mute icon appears on thedisplay, press it again to exit.
2.3. Back
The playerisdivided intothemaininterface, folderlist,song list,cue list,favoriteslistand play
interface, use the BACKkeyto switch interfacesbetween them.
2.4. Play/Pause/Enter
Pressthe PLAY/PAUSE/ENTERkeyon the frontpanelorremotecontroltostart playing. Press
again, it would be pause.
Selectthe track you needed fromthe song list,press the PLAY/PAUSE/ENTER keytostart
playing.
2.5. FB/FF
Long press the LEFT/RIGHTkeyson the frontpanelorthe " /▶▶"keyson the remotocontrol
can fastbackwordorfastforword currenttrack in the play interface.
2.6. Replay
Ifyou press the REPLAYkeyon the remotecontrol,it wouldreplaythe currenttrackregardless
ofthe position it played to.
2.7. Rewind
Ifyou press the REWIND keyon the remotecontrol,it wouldreplaythe previoustrack.For
example, the previoustrack isA.WAV,the currenttrack isB.WAV, if you press the REWIND key,
it would playA.WAV.
2.8. Page Up/Down
Press the LEFT/RIGHTkeyson the frontpanelorthe P-/P+keyson the remotocontrolcan
quicklyflip overin folder/track/cue/favoriteslistinterface.
2.9. Previous/NextFolder
Inthe folder/track/playinterface, usethe F-/F+keyson the remotecontrolcan quicklyswitch to
the previous/nextfolder(album).

2.10. ChooseTrack
You can choose whatyou wantplaytrack with the following methods:
Bypressing the " "or"▶▶ "keysto choose previousornexttrack.
Press the BACKkeytoreturntosong list,press up/downnavigation keystochooseothertracks
in the currentfolder(album); Press the BACKkeyagain, you would return to folder(album)list,
Press the UP/DOWNnavigation keystochooseyourfolder(album),then,press the
PAUSE/PLAY/ENTERkeytoenterthisfolder(album),press the UP/DOWNnavigation keysto
choose the trackyou want.Afterthat, press the PAUSE/PLAY/ENTERkeyto start playing.
2.11. Seek Track
Press a digitalkeyfrom1 to9, corresponding indexed trackscan be located directly.
Pressthe "__"/"___"/"____"numberindex on remotecontrol,andthen inputtracknumber,
to quicklyseek track you want.
You can choosetosearchtrackswithinthe folderorthe wholecard,depending on theplayrange
ofthe track.
2.12. SeekFolder
"Fn"+numbers isusetolocated the folder,pleasepressthe "Fn"keyon remotecontrol,and
then entera number.
-Use "Fn"+numberkeys(1-9)to located corresponding indexed folders ranging from1 to 9.
-Use "Fn"+"_ _"keysto located corresponding indexedfolders ranging from1 to 99.
-Use "Fn"+"_ _ _"keysto located corresponding indexed folders ranging from1 to999.
2.13. DeleteTrack
Inthe track listorplayinterface, selectthe trackyou need toremove, and thenpressthe DEL
keyon the remotecontroltoenterthe deleteing interface, select"Yes"todelete, select"No"to
exit.
Note: Deleteoperationthe isphysicaldeletion, deleted tracksareunrecoverable,pleasebe
caution.
2.14. Positioning Time
Press theTIMEkeyon the remotecontrol,enterthe timeyou wanttolocate, then can jump
directlyto a specified pointin time to play.
2.15.A-BReplay
Thisfunction isusedto replay a certain section oftrack repeatedly.
Press the "A-B"keyon remotecontrol,choosethestarting pointA,and whenit reachesthe end
ofthe section, press the keyagain to choose finalpointB.
When pointAandBareset,the section between Aand Bwouldbe repeated anaginand again
until you press the "A-B"keyagain.

2.16. CUE Play Operation
Selectthe cue filetoenterthe cue list,and choosethe cueindex toplay.Itsupport loop, random,
playonce and one cycleplaying mode, butthe playrange islimited tothe currentcue listand
displayed as"ALBUM"in playerinterface.
Note:CUEfilesand track filesmustbe stored in the same file folder.
2.17. FavoritesPlay Operation
Favoritesplayoperationsaredivided intoaddingandremoving certainindexed track ofthe
Favorites.
Enterthetrackslistorplayinterface inSDcardplayback mode, press thecustomfunction key
F1on the remotecontrolorlong pressthe frontpanelkeyPLAY/PAUSE1to2seconds,then
releasethe key,when prompted "Add tofavorites",select"Yes"toadd the currenttrack to
favorites, select"No"to exit;
Enterthe favoriteslistorplayinterface inFavoritesplayback mode, press the customfunction
keyF1on the remotecontrolorlongpress thefrontpannelkeyPLAY/PAUSE1to2seconds,
then releasethe key,when prompted "DelfromFavorites",select"Yes"todelete, select"No"to
exit.(Deleteoperation onlyremovethe tracksinthe favorites,notphysicallydeletethetracksin
the SDcard).
Note:Infavoritesplayoperation, it alsosupport loop,random,playonce, one cycleplayback
mode, butthe playback range islimited withincurrentlistoffavoritesand displayed as
"FAVORITE"in playinterface.
2.18. Full-screen
Inplayerinterface, press theLEFT/RIGHTkeyson the frontpanelortheP-/P+keyson remote
controlto switch to full-screen interface.
Note:Locating folders,locating tracks,positioning timeand A-Btruncated playback operation
are notsupported in full-screen.
3. FunctionSettings
3.1. ApproachesOfFunction Settings
Press theMENUkeyon the frontpanelorremote controlto enterthe SETTING menuinterface.
Pressthe UP/DOWNkeyson the frontpanelorremotecontroltochoosethe function itemyou
wantto set.

Press the LEFT/RIGHTkeyson the frontpanelorremotecontroltosetthe function parameter
you want.
Aftersetting, Press the MENUkeyon frontpanelorremotecontroltosaveand exit the
SETTINGMenuinterface.
3.2. Play Mode
Playmode can be setas:LOOP,RANDOM,ONE,ONCE, INVERT.
3.3. PlayRange
lALL:All the tracksin SDcard are effective files.
lFOLDER:Onlythe tracksinthe currentfolderareeffective, the selection oftracksisalso
limited within thisfolder.
Note: Please store one albumtracksin one folder.
3.4. Memory Play/AutoPlay
lAUTO:Memoryplayback, playthe track automaticallybefore powerfailure afterstartup.
lPAUSE:Bootintothe playerinterface, waiting forthe usertopress Entertostart playing
the song.
lOFF:EnterFolderListafterstartup, readyfornextoperation.

as:10, 20, 30, 40, 50,60, 70,80, 90,100.
3.12. Gap between tracks
Setthe gap between the track and the trackmute time:
Settable parameters: 0,500,1000,1500,2000 milliseconds.
3.13. TrackName Scroll
Setthe long track name (referto more than one screen displayrange)displayscroll frequency:
Settable parameters: none, 1S, 2S, 3S, inunitsofseconds.
3.14. Full Screen Layout
SetFullScreen mode layoutdisplay:

Setautomaticoff-screen time, withoutanyoperation withinthe settimewill turnoffthe LCD
display:
Can setthe parameters asfollows:no, 10S, 20S, 30S, inunitsofseconds.
Note:Turnoffthe displayon the sound qualityhascertainlyimproved. Meanwhile, you can
simplypress the remote controlF0 keyto turn offthe display, press again to wake up the screen.

4. DAC Function
QA860canbeusedasaseparateDAC used,therearethree waystochooseadifferentaudio
input,support forleft/rightchannelbalanced outputsand unbalancedoutputs.Itsupports preamp
tofacilitateusers toconnecthigh-powered speakers ornovolumecontrolpurepoweramp, you
can openthisfunction intheSETTINGmenu. Analogoutputvolumecan be adjustedusing the
remote control.

5. UpgradeFirmware
Upgrade operation includesthe upgrade ofmastercontrolprogram, word stock, etc.
Copythe upgrade documentsinto SDcard rootdirectorythrough card reader.
Pluginthe SDcardwhichhasupgradedocuments,keep pressing the PLAY/PAUSE/ENTER
keyand turnon the powersupplyorresetthe hostmachine, then you can enterthe operation of
upgrade mode.
Selectthe upgradedocumentsfromthe upgrade documentslist,press the PLAY/PAUSE/ENTER
key, and then the upgrade would getstarted. When it isfinished, restart the powersupplyorreset
the hostmachine, then the upgrade iscompleted.
