CERAMIC SPACE HEATER WITH REMOTE CONTROL

which we know will give you long and reliable service.
As with all electrical appliances, it is i portant that all safeguards are followed. We therefore ask
you to read through these instructions carefully and to keep the in a safe place for
future reference.

2 off No8 Woodscrews, 35 long
2 off plastic Rawlplugs for fixing the heater to a concrete or brick wall

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
ALL ELECTRICAL WORK S OULD BE CARRIED OUT BY A COMPETENT ELECTRICIAN
1 Decide on a suitable location.
2 Mark the position for the 2 No.8 Woodscrews. (supplied)
3 Fit the screws leaving the screws protruding 15 fro the wall.
4 Mark the position on the wall for the 13A Fused Spur connection.
5 Install the fused spur back box and supply cable. (Surface ount or sunken)
6 Mount the heater on to the 2 off No.8 Woodscrews.
7 Ensure that the ains supply is turned off.
8 Connect the supply to the fused spur front plate.
9 Connect the unit to the front plate as described below.
10 Replace the front plate.
11 Installation is now co plete.
CONNECTION DETAILS
THIS UNIT MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE MAINS SUPPLY BY A SWITCHED FUSED SPUR
FITTED WITH A 10A FUSE
The wires in the cable attached to this unit are coloured in accordance with the following code:-
BLUE ============= NEUTRAL
BROWN ============= LIVE
This unit does not require an earth wire as the case is Double Insulated.
As the colour ay not correspond with the arkings indentifying the ter inals in the fused
spur proceed as follows.
•Blue wire ust be connected to the ter inal arked ‘N LOAD’
•Brown wire ust be connected to the ter inal arked ‘L LOAD’

OPERATION
There ay be a trace of s oke or odour during the first few inutes of initial use or when the unit has not been
used for a period of ti e. This is quite nor al and will quickly disappear.
FROM THE FRONT PANEL
The unit is in standby mode (POWER light will be ON) while the FUSED SPUR is switched on.
To switch on the appliance press the LEFT HAND button on the front panels. The heater
will select FAN ode.
By pressing this button again will select 1000W low heat setting.
Pressing it again selects the 2000W high heat setting.
Pressing it again will turn the unit back to STANDBY MODE.
The ti er can be set fro ½ hour to 7 ½ hours by pressing the TIMER (RIGHT HAND) button.
This steps the ti e up by ½ hour with each press.
To turn off the unit switch off the FUSED SPUR.
FROM T E REMOTE CONTROL
The re ote control requires two AAA batteries. (not supplied)
To switch the appliance on fro the STANDBY ode press the RED button on the
re ote control. The unit will switch on in the FAN only ode.
Pressing the 1000W button will select the low heat setting.
Pressing the 2000W button will select the high heat setting.
The ti er can be set fro ½ hour to 7 ½ hours by pressing the TIMER button which steps up ½ hour with
each press.
To turn off the unit press the RED button.
ATTENTION. When the unit is switched off the unit will continue to blow cool air for 60
seconds before shutting down.
A ther al overload protector is built into the unit to prevent overheating
If the unit overheats it will shut down auto atically.

CARE AND CLEANING
•The unit should be cleaned regularly.
•Isolate fro the ains supply and allow the unit to cool. Wipe over with a da p cloth.
•Do not use detergents or abrasives.
•Do not scrape the surfaces with sharp hand tools.
•Use a vacuu cleaner to re ove dust and fluff fro the vents.
SAFETY WARNINGS
•This product is not a toy. It should not be used by children or infir persons without supervision.
•The appliance ust be fastened to a wall with the air outlet to the botto . DO NOT ount the unit any other way.
•Isolate fro the ains supply when not in use or when cleaning the unit.
•DO NOT operate the appliance with a da aged cord. If the supply cord is da aged it ust be replaced to avoid
any hazard.
•Parts of the heater casing ay get hot when in use. Do not let bare skin touch any hot surface to avoid burns.
•Do not allow the unit to get wet.
•Do not use the heater in dusty environ ents or where fla able vapours are present.
•Do not place the heater near any other source of heat.
•Do not cover the heater. A fire ay occur if the heater co es into contact with any fla able aterial (Curtains,
Drapes, Bedding etc...) when in use.
•Do not use in the i ediate vicinity of bathtubs, showers, wash basins or swi ing pools.
•Do not use outdoors.
•Do not use this appliance for other than its intended purpose. This appliance is for interior use only.
•Do not atte pt to repair, disasse ble or odify the appliance in any way. There are no user-serviceable parts
inside.
•Do not insert or allow to be inserted any foreign objects into the inlet or output openings as this ay cause an
electric shock, fire or da age to the unit.
•Do not use this heater with an external progra er, ti er or any other device that switches the heater on
auto atically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered.
•Only use the autoti er while the unit is supervised.

This product is covered with a 12 onth anufacturers warranty fro the date of purchase against faulty
work anship and co ponents.
