Instructions for Use
1. Plug the device into an electrical outlet in the area
you want to protect, in a vertical position and with
the LED light on the top. Plug it in an area unblocked
by furniture to obtain optimal dispersion of the
ultrasound waves. Do not hang it in hidden places,
or behind curtains or furniture. Avoid obstructing
the front part of the device.
2. In order to repel mosquitos you should plug in
device at a height of between 3 ft. (1 m) and 6 1/2
ft. (2 m). Avoid pointing it toward open doors or
windows.
3. The LED indicator light will come on and the device
will start working.
4. The device should not be used in conjunction with
extermination systems that use poison or traps,
since the two methods work against each other
(repulsion vs. attraction).
5. Should you notice an increased presence of mice,
cockroaches and/or ants in the first few days of using
the device, it is likely because they are abandoning
their nests.
6. For mice, cockroaches and/or ants, it may take up
to 3 weeks, once the device is in constant use, for
optimal results.
7. Leave the device permanently plugged in to obtain
the best results.

Care and Maintenance
Do not put the device in water or any other liquid.
Cleaning.
If you need to clean the device unplug the device. Use only
a soft dry cloth, with no abrasive products.
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures.
It is recommended not to use it in places with temperatures
exceeding 122 °F (50 °C).
No rells.
The device works without replacement parts, making it more
economical to use.
Correct disposal of the device.
Properly dispose of the device by depositing it in the
corresponding container for its correct collection and
recycling.
RADARCAN® has a commitment to the care and protection
of the environment. The device contains electronic
components and it is necessary to dispose of the device
separately from the containers where normal domestic
waste is disposed of.
Consult the applicable local regulations agreement on
our website or get in touch with your local health and
environmental protection authorities for information on
your recycling options.
Warranty and extension of warranty
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Register the device at: warranty.radarcan.com and you will
obtain a five-year warranty for the product since date of
purchase.
• RADARCAN® does not warranty a 100% effective
shield against the spread of diseases that the animal
could be infected.
• Your RADARCAN® product is guaranteed against
defects in materials and manufacture for the period
of time established by legislation in the country
and/or state of sale of the product (see warranty.
radarcan.com), or for five years if it is registered,
from the purchase date. If any defect in the product
caused by its manufacture or defective materials
appears while under the warranty.
• RADARCAN® will only be responsible for the repair
or replacement if valid proof of purchase (e.g. paid
receipt) is presented which demonstrates that the
day of the service claim is within the validity period
of the warranty.
• The warranty does not cover those products and/
or parts of products that are subjected to wear and
tear that can be considered material that naturally
deteriorates over time.
• The warranty is not valid if the defect is due to
damage caused by incorrect use of the product or
improper maintenance, or if it has been repaired
or modified by personnel not authorized by
RADARCAN®.
• For good performance of the product, the user
needs to strictly follow the instructions given in
the user’s manual, and to avoid any action or use
described as undesirable or contrary to the warnings
in said user manual.
• The warranty of certain products may be subject to
restrictions, e.g., depending on the type of material

• The inappropriate usage of this product could
bring you unexpected results. Moreover, could

supervised by someone responsible for their
safety. Children must be supervised to assure that
they will not play with the unit.

Instrucciones de uso
1. Conecte el dispositivo a la red eléctrica en la estancia
que desee proteger, de forma vertical y con el LED en
la parte superior. Colóquelo en zonas despejadas de
mobiliario para obtener una mejor dispersión de los
ultrasonidos. No lo coloque en lugares escondidos,
como detrás de cortinas o muebles. Evite obstruir la
parte delantera.
2. Para ahuyentar la presencia de mosquitos
sugerimos conectar el dispositivo en un enchufe
de 1 a 2 metros de altura respecto al suelo, evitando
encararlo a puertas/ventanas abiertas.
3. El indicador luminoso LED se enciende y empieza a
actuar.
4. No debe combinarse el uso del dispositivo con
sistemas de eliminación mediante venenos o
trampas, ya que sus efectos son contrarios (repulsión
frente atracción).
5. En el caso de una mayor presencia de ratones,
cucarachas y/o hormigas durante los primeros días
de uso del dispositivo indica que éstos abandonan
el hogar para huir de su área de acción.
6. En el caso de ratones, cucarachas y/o hormigas,
puede ser necesarias hasta 3 semanas de uso
continuo del dispositivo, para conseguir resultados
óptimos.
7. Déjelo conectado permanentemente para obtener
un mejor rendimiento.

Cuidado y Mantenimiento
No introduzca el dispositivo en agua o cualquier otro
líquido.
Limpieza.
Si necesita limpiar el dispositivo, desconéctelo de la
corriente. A continuación, utilice sólo un paño suave y seco,
sin productos abrasivos.
No exponer el dispositivo a temperaturas extremas.
Se recomienda no utilizarlo en lugares con temperaturas
superiores a 50ºC.
Sin recambios.
El dispositivo funciona sin recambios, lo que economiza su
uso.
Desechar el dispositivo.
Deseche el dispositivo en el correspondiente contenedor
para su correcta recolección y reciclaje.
RADARCAN® tiene un compromiso para el cuidado y
protección del medio ambiente. El dispositivo contiene
componentes electrónicos y es necesario desecharlo
separadamente del resto de residuos domésticos.

una garantía a cinco años desde la fecha de compra.
• Desde RADARCAN®no garantizamos que el
dispositivo proporcione un escudo 100% eficaz
frente al contagio de enfermedades de las que el
animal en cuestión pueda ser portador.
• Su producto RADARCAN® está garantizado frente
a defectos de materiales y mano de obra durante
el período de garantía según legislación en el
país donde se realiza la compra del producto
(consultar en warranty.radarcan.com) o a cinco
años, si el producto está registrado a partir de
la fecha de compra. Si durante el período de la
garantía apareciera algún defecto en el producto
debido a la fabricación o materiales defectuosos,
RADARCAN® se hará cargo de la reparación o
sustitución del producto.
• RADARCAN® sólo se hará cargo de la reparación
o sustitución en caso de que se presente una
prueba convincente; recibo de compra, factura,
que demuestre que el día en que se reclama el
servicio está dentro del período de garantía.
• La garantía no cubre aquellos productos y/o
piezas de los productos que estén sujetos a
desgastes, que se puedan considerar piezas
consumibles por su naturaleza.
• La garantía no es válida si el defecto es debido
a daños causados por un uso incorrecto del
producto o su mal mantenimiento, o si ha sido
reparado o modificado por personal no autorizado
por RADARCAN®.
