the property, for example) that it cannot endanger other people, especially children. Please also
ensure that the product is set up sufficiently far away from buildings, trees and especially power
lines. In strong winds, please note that the dome can whip out up to 90° in every direction. SEGULA
GmbH accepts no liability for damages of any kind. Mark your property (trespassing prohibited, for
example) adequately to protect people from danger.
Includ d with th product:
1. 3 white fibreglass rods

3. Imitation bird of prey / kite
4. Connection line / cord

This product provides you with a
way to
keep your property free of pests of many
kinds, without the use of chemical or
acoustic methods. The bird and game
scarer works for you 24 hours a day,
without any follow-up costs or
maintenance costs. All it takes is a little
wind and it imitates the movement of a
bird of prey perfectly.
This product can be used in more than just
the area of professional agriculture. It is
also already successfully in use in (fruit)
gardens, at fish ponds, in vineyards, or
near animal stalls.
Because of its irregular pattern of
movement, animals can’t ever get used to
it.
First s tup:
It is possible for a single person to set up the product, but we recommend you to ask a second person
to help the first time you set it up. D p nding on th composition of th soil, you may n d a
hamm r and a pi c of wood th first tim you s t it up, to driv th fibr glass rods d p nough
into th ground.

1.
Take out the individual parts and check them
for completeness.
2. With the points first, the three white
fibreglass rods are driven from half to two-
thirds of the length into the ground. A hammer
may be necessary for this, depending on the
composition of the soil. In order not to damage
the fibreglass rods, use a piece of wood (roof
batten or similar).

3.
Now take the black dome and pull it
out to the full length. While doing this,
pull out the individual parts with a slight
jerk, to “lock them into place”. When the
dome is pulled out to the full length, lay it
on the ground. -> Picture B

4. The kite is equipped with three fibreglass rods. Join these together as shown in the lower picture.
Turn the bird on its back. Join the lower rods together crossing one another; the long upper fibreglass
rod goes right through and gives the wings stability.
5. Now connect the bird and the dome using the included cord. The cord is approx. 6m long; it might
not be necessary to use the full length.
6. Now pull the dome over the white fibreglass rods. To do this the help of a second person is
recommended.
7. Now observe the bird; it might be necessary to shorten or lengthen the cord. Here, try to get the
bird to circle around as much as possible, because this provides the strongest scaring effect.

Ar a of us :
The professional bird and game scarer is extremely well suited for keeping away pigeons, members
of the crow family (corvids), and other birds from fields. It has also been observed that field mice
and voles are unsettled by the presence of the bird of prey over a longer period of time.
The flight path of the bird changes constantly, depending on the wind strength and gusts, so it is not
possible for pests to ever get used to the product. It only takes a few minutes to set up, and from
then on the bird and game scarer works non-stop, without any further costs. It is practical and
maintenance free, so it saves time.
No more use of poisons which can taint the groundwater and must constantly be repurchased. No
conflicts with neighbours because of the use of loud bangs.
Use the professional bird and game scarer to protect your seeds. Prevent birds from picking open
silage film. The bird and game scarer can also help near loading stations or near bakeries or mills.
Bird droppings can be aggressive on the substance of your buildings, and look dirty and grubby. In
vegetable and fruit gardens and in vineyards it is necessary to protect against bird droppings
contaminated with bacteria, and against the plundering of your stocks and seeds.
This product is made of high quality fibreglass materials to ensure many years of service life. Despite
this, we recommend that it be taken down in case of strongly gusting winds or heavy weather (hail
etc.).
Warranty:
We provide a warranty of 2 years from the date of purchase. If the product becomes damaged
through improper use, any warranty claims will become void.
