BITTE BEACHTEN:
- Der Einbau des Radical-Geräts sollte von einem autorisierten Fachhändler durchgeführt werden.
Zur Montage werden spezifische Kenntnisse und Werkzeuge benötigt. Unsachgemässer Einbau
kann zu Schäden am Fahrzeug und am Radical-Geräts führen.
HINWEIS:
- Das R-C10FD2 Gerät eignet sich für Fahrzeuge mit Klimaautomatik. Sonst sind keine weiteren
Einschränkungen bekannt.

EINBAUBEISPIEL FORD Focus II mit Klimaautomatik
DEMONTAGE UND VORBEREITUNG:
1. Ziehen Sie den Plastikrahmen an der
unteren Seite leicht nach vorne, um sie von
der Multimediabedieneinheit zu lösen.
Benutzen Sie dafür das Montagewerkzeug
Kunstoffgriff (10)
2. Lösen Sie mit Hilfe eines
Kreuzschraubenziehers die vier
Befestigungsschrauben des Originalradios..
3. Um das Gerät vollständig aus dem
Geräteschacht entfernen zu können,
müssen Sie zuvor alle Steckanschlüsse (z.B.
Hauptanschlusskabel, Antennenkabel, etc.)
auf der Geräterückseite trennen.

INSTALLATION
1. Montieren Sie die GPS-Antenne (Nr. 2)
an einer geeigneten Stelle und achten Sie
darauf, dass der GPS-Empfang nicht durch
die Abschattung von metallischen
Fahrzeugteilen negativ beeinflusst wird
(Wärmeschutzverglasung etc.). Verlegen
Sie das Anschlusskabel anschließend in
den Radioschacht.
2. Verlegen Sie die USB-
Verlängerungskabel (Nr. 5, 6) vom
Radioschacht an die von Ihnen
gewünschte Stelle.
3. Verbinden Sie das jeweilige
Hauptanschlusskabel (Nr. 11) des Radical-
Geräts (Nr. 1) mit dem Stecker des
Fahrzeugs und schließen Sie den
Verriegelungsmechanismus des Steckers.
Verbinden Sie anschließend das CAN-BUS
Interface (Nr. 12) mit dem
Hauptanschlusskabel. Verbinden Sie alle
zuvor in den Radioschacht verlegten Kabel
und die originalen Antennenkabel mit dem
Radical-Gerät (Nr. 1).

4. Entfernen Sie die Warnblinklicht-Taste
mit dem Montagewerkzeug Kunstoffgriff
(10), und ersetzten sie mit der
mitgelieferten, passgenauen Taste für das
RADICAL Gerät
5. Verlegen Sie die diversen
Anschlusskabel des Radical-Geräts
sorgfältig im unteren Bereich der
Radioschachts. Schieben Sie anschliessend
das Radical-Gerät vorsichtig und mit
dosierter Kraftaufwendung zurück in den
Radioschacht. Drücken Sie den R-C10FD2
soweit nach innen, bis Sie hören wie die
Verriegelung einklickt.
Der Einbau des R-C10FD2 ist hiermit
beendet.

- The installation of the Radical device should be carried out by an authorized installer. Specific
knowledge and tools are required to do the installation. Incorrect installation can cause damage to
the vehicle and the Radical device.
CAUTION:
- The R-C10FD2 is suitable for vehicles equipped with automatic A/C control panel. Else no other
limitations are known.

EXAMPLE OF INSTALLATION FORD Focus II with automatic A/C control panel
REMOVAL WORK AND PREPARATION:
1. Pull the plastic frame slightly forward on
the bottom side to release it from the
multimedia control unit.
Assembly Tool: Plastic Handle (10)
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the
four mounting screws of the original radio.
3. In order to be able to completely remove
the device from the device slot, you must
first disconnect all plug-in connections (eg
main connection cable, antenna cable, etc.)
on the back of the device.

INSTALLATION
2. Install the GPS antenna (No. 2) in a
suitable position, making sure that the GPS
reception is not adversely affected by
unwanted shielding of metallic vehicle parts
(thermal insulation glazing, etc.). Then route
the connection cable into the radio bay.
2. Route the USB extension cable´s (No. 5,
6) from the radio bay to your preferred
position.
3. Connect one of the main connection
cables (No. 11) of the Radical device (No. 1)
to the Plug connector of the car and close its
locking mechanism. Following this, connect
the CAN bus interface (No. 12) to the main
connection cable. Connect all the cables
inside the radio bay and the original antenna
cables.

4. Remove the hazard light button with the
plastic grip assembly tool (10) and replace it
with the supplied, custom-fit button for the
RADICAL device.
5. Neatly arrange the wires to the side,
making room for the Radical device.
Carefully slide it into the radio slot. Push back
the R-C10FD2 until you hear the clicking
sound of the latching mechanism.
The installation of your R-C10FD2 is now
complete.
