1. Turn the transmitter off.
Step Two
Driving the Lowrider
1. Install the transmitter’s supplied antennarod.
Turn it clockwise to secure it.
2. Fully extend the transmitter’s antenna.
3. Slide ON/OFF on the transmitter and the Low-
rider to ON.
4. Use the transmitter levers tocontrol the Low-
rider.
- Forward
Release - Stop
- Reverse
Caution: If the Lowrider gets stuck under an object,
immediately release the transmitter’s control levers
and retrieve the car.
• Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury batteries.
• Use only freshbatteries of the required size and recommended type. Do not mix oldand new batteries, differenttypes of
batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
• If you do not planto use the vehicle for several weeks, remove the batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage
electronic parts.
Battery Notes
1. Turn the Lowrider off.
2. Open the battery
compartmentcover’s
latches and remove
the cover.
3. Put the battery pack in
thecompartment.Make
sure the battery pack’s
connector and the
Lowrider’s connector
are close together.
5. Replace and secure the cover.
4. Attach the battery pack’s white connector to the car’s matching
connector. Do not force them! They fit together only one way.
Warning: The Lowrider can reach much higher
speeds than other radio-controlledcars. Be careful to
avoid high-speed collisions with people and objects.

• Running yourLowrider for a long time generates
highheat levels.To helpkeep heatlevels down,
when your Lowrider’s batteries die, let it coolfor at
least10 minutesbefore installingfresh batteries.
• IftheLowrider’smotorrunsbutdoesnotrespondto
thetransmitter, move closerto the Lowriderand try
again.
• If somebodyuses a CB radio nearby, it might inter-
ferewith the Lowrider. Ifthis happens,move the
Lowrideraway from theCB.
• You cannot operate the Lowrider near deviceswith
transmittersthat use the same frequencyas your
Lowrider(27 MHz or49 MHz). Checkthe boxto
seewhich frequencyyou have.

Adjusting Alignment
IftheLowriderdoesnotdriveinastraightlinewhenyou
release theright control lever, adjust the wheelalign-
mentcontrol(betweenthefrontwheels,underneaththe
car).SlidethecontroltowardL(left)ifthecarpullsright,
or toward R (right)if the car pulls left. If your radio-controlled vehicle isnot performing
asitshould,takeitto yourlocalRadioShackstore
for assistance.
Tolocate yournearestRadioShack,use thestore
locator feature on RadioShack's website
(www.radioshack.com), or call 1-800-TheShack
(843-7422) and follow the menu options.
Modifyingor tampering with thevehicle’s or trans-
mitter's internal components can cause a mal-
functionandmightinvalidateitswarrantyandvoid
your FCC authorization to operate it.
Service
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can
