Installing Batteries
You will need...
One 9V battery for the transmitter (not included)
One 7.2Vbattery pack for the Dodge Raminator(not included)
Put Battery in the Truck
• Turn the truck off.
• Liftthetwolatcheson thebackofthetruck to
open the battery compartment cover.
• Attach thebatterypack’s connector to the
vehicle’s connector. Do not force them
together. They fit one way only. Place the
connectors in the space inside the compart-
ment and place thebatterypack in the com-
partment.Besurethe wiresdonottouch any
moving parts.
• Replace the cover and secure the tabs.
Put Battery in the Transmitter
• Press OPEN on the battery compartment cover and slide
it off.
• Insert one 9V battery in the battery compartment, match-
ing the polarity symbols (+ and -) as marked inside.
• Replace the cover and snap iton.

Raminator
• Turn the Dodge
Raminator on. The
headlights illuminate
• Use the transmitter’s
controls to drive and
steer the truck.
• When you finish driving
the vehicle, turn the
transmitter and vehicle
off.

Step Two
Installing the Antenna Tube
Route the antennawire’s loose end through the supplied plastic tubeand insert the tube
securely into the truck’s antenna tube holder.
• Push forwardto move forward.For turbo speed, push forward and to the right.
• Pull backward to move backward.
• Release to stop.

Battery Notes
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
• Use only the recommendedbatterypack and charger. You may purchasea charger at yourlocal RadioShack store.
• When the transmitter’s range decreases, replace its battery. Never leave dead or weak batteries in the vehicle or transmitter.
• Do not charge the battery pack while it is in the vehicle or immediately after use.Allow it to cool first.
• After you charge the battery pack (12 to 14 hours), disconnect it from the charger. Overcharging the battery pack might damage it.
• Donot mix oldandnewbatteries,differenttypesof batteries(alkaline,standard,orrechargeable),orrechargeablebatteries of dif-
ferent capacities.
• If you donot plan to use thevehiclefor a week or more, removethe batteries from it and the transmitter. Batteries can leak chem-
icals thatmay destroy electronic parts.
• Ensure the connectors and wires are positioned so they do not touch moving parts.
• Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them.
• The supplied box wrench lets you easily remove and replace the truck’s
wheels. Be careful not to discard the wrench when you unpack the
truck.
• Driving your Dodge Raminator for long periods of time can generate a
high heat level, which causes wear and tear on the motor. To help keep
heat levels down, when your vehicle’s battery power dies, let it cool for
at least 10 minutes before recharging the battery.
• Do not touch the motor immediately after using the Dodge Raminator,
as it may become hot during use.
• If your vehicle’s motor runs, but does not respond to the transmitter,
move closer to the vehicle and try again.
• If someone uses a CB nearby, it might interfere with the control of your
Dodge Raminator. If this happens, move the vehicle away from the CB.
• You cannot operate your vehicle neardevices with transmitters that use
thesamefrequencyasyourvehicle(27MHzor49MHz).Checkthebox
to see which frequency you have.
• If your vehiclemoves slowly, or not atall, and youhave installednew
batteries, check the wheel mechanism for lint, dust, hair or thread.
• When thetransmitter’s range decreases,replace itsbattery.
• If your vehicle does not drive in a straight line, adjust the wheel align-
mentcontrolonthebottomofthevehicle.Ifthevehiclepullstotheright,
turn the control toward L, and ifit pullsto the left,turn the control toward
R.
• Do not play with your vehicle in the street.
• The Dodge Raminator reaches much
higher speeds (780 ft. per minute) than
most radio-controlled cars. Avoid high-
impact collisions with people and objects.
• IftheDodgeRaminatorgetsstuckunderan
object, immediately release both controls
on the transmitter. Then, retrieve the vehi-
cle.
• Wipe the vehicle occasionally with a damp
cloth to keep it lookingnew.
• Tampering with your vehicle’s electronic
parts may cause damage to the vehicle. If
yourvehicledoesnotoperateproperly,take
it to your local RadioShack store for assis-
tance.

In the event of a product defect during the warranty period, take the product and the Ra-
dioShack sales receipt as proof of purchase date to any RadioShack store. RadioShack will, at
its option, unless otherwise provided by law: (a) correct the defect by product repair without
charge for parts and labor; (b) replace the product with one of the same or similar design; or (c)
refund the purchase price. All replaced parts and products, and products on which a refund is
made, become the property of RadioShack. New or reconditioned parts and products may be
used in the performance of warranty service. Repaired or replaced parts and products are war-
ranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. You will be charged for repair or re-
placement of the product made after the expiration of the warranty period.
This warranty does not cover: (a) damage or failure caused by or attributable to acts of God,
abuse, accident, misuse, improper or abnormal usage, crash, collision, impact, violent contact,
failure to follow instructions, improper installation or maintenance, alteration, lightning or other
incidence of excess voltage or current; (b) any repairs other than those provided by a Ra-
dioShack Authorized Service Facility; (c) consumables such as fuses or batteries; (d) cosmetic
damage; (e) transportation, shipping or insurance costs; or (f) costs of product removal, instal-
lation, set-up service adjustment or reinstallation.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary
