Raindrip R673 User manual

Low Battery Indicator
The Raindrip R673C Digital Timer is powered by 2
AAA batteries that are installed in the battery compart-
ment located just below the control buttons on the face
of the timer. Squeeze the two tabs, on the front of the
battery case, toward each other and pull the battery
case out of the body. The +tip of the battery must be
pointed away from the spring. When the low battery
indicator is displayed the timer will no longer turn on.
Set Current Time and Day
1Press and the hour digit will begin to flash.
2Use the or buttons set the current hour
(please take note that the timer uses a 24 hour clock).
For example, 1:00PM will be 13:00 on the timer and
6:00PM will be 18:00. After selecting the current hour
press to enter the hour. The minute’s digits will
begin to flash.
3Using the or buttons set the current minute,
then press to enter the current minutes, and SU
will begin to flash.
4Use the or buttons to select the current day of
the week than press to enter the day of the week.
Manual Operation
The R673 Digital Timer can be operated manually at
any time. To enter manual operation press the button
button and the run time hour will begin flashing.
Use the or buttons to set the number of hours.
Press and the runtime minutes will begin to flash.
Use the or buttons to select the desired number
of minutes (the timer has a default of 15 minutes pre-
programmed). After the run time minutes is selected
press and the timer will open allowing water to
flow. The timer can be turned off at any time by
pressing the button.
Programming Watering schedule
The Raindrip R673 Digital Water Timer is capable of
16 separate watering schedules.

the display. Use the or buttons to select any
of the 16 watering programs. Press the button to
set the program desired (1-16).

6The display 2nd will be flashing on the
left side of the display. At this point the
user will need to decide to select every
other day every third day or select watering days at will.
If every second day is desired proceed to step 7. For every
third day watering proceed to step 8. To select water days
at will proceed to step 9of these instructions.
7While 2nd is flashing on the left side
of the display press and Su Tu We
Fr will appear at the bottom of the
display with a *flashing at right bottom of e display. Press
. The next watering program will appear in numeric
order. If another watering program is desired go back to
step 1and repeat the process. After all programming is
complete press the button . The timer will display the
current time and day and the it is ready to operate.
8If the every third day operation is
desired, press the while 2nd is
flashing. 3rd will start flashing and Tu
We Sa will appear with a *flashing at the right bottom
of the display. Press and the next program in the
sequence will appear. If another watering program needs
to be added, return to step 1and repeat the program
sequence. After the programming is complete, press .
The timer will display the current time and date and it is
ready for operation.
9To select watering days at will press
the button twice while 2nd is
flashing on the left side of the display.
Su will begin to flash. To select watering days press
while the desired day is flashing. To skip days press
while the day is flashing. After all days are selected the
* will be flashing. Press and the next program in
the sequence will appear. If another watering program is
necessary, return to step 1and repeat the sequence. If all
programming is complete press . The timer will display
the current time and day and it is ready for use.
