1) Removethe4screwsfromthefaceplate.Takethefaceplateoffthebackhousing.
NOTE:Ifthefaceplateisdifficulttotakeoff,stickasmallscrewdrivethroughtheTOPHOLE onthebackofthekeypad.
2) Install4‐AAbatteriesbehindthefaceplate.
3) IMPORTANT!!!MovethejumperfromtheJ2pinstotheJ1 Pins.
4) Youwillsee10dipswitches,eachdipswitchwillhaveanONandOFFsetting.
Setthedipswitchestomatchthedipswitchesonyourreceiverboxlocatedinsideyourgateopener.
5) Addthe4digitentrycode(UserCode)youwanttousetoopenthegate.Youcanhaveupto60entrycodes.
Programmingstepstoaddanentrycode
1. Press1234(Thisisthedefaultprogrammingmastercode).
Note:Ifyouwanttouse1234foryourentry,youwillhaveto
changethePROGRAMMINGMASTERcodebeforeyouadd1234asanentrycode.
2. Presstheprogrammingbuttonjusttotheleftofthe0key.
TheL.E.D.lightjustabovethe2keywillturnGREENifthecorrectProgrammingMasterisentered.
IftheL.E.D.lightdoesnotturnGREEN,entertheProgrammingMasterCodeagainandpresstheprogrammingbutton.
3. Press1toaddanentrycode.
Ifyouwantedtodeleteacode,press2.
4. Press01toenteryourfirstcode,thenyour4digitentrycode.
Example:Ifyouwanttoaddentrycode2012,youhavetopress012012
Note:01representsitspositioninthe60codememory.52wouldbethe52ndpositioninthe60codememory.
5. Presstheprogrammingbuttonagain.
Thiswillexityoufromtheprogrammingmode.
6. Youaredone.Testyour4digitentrycodetoseeifitworks.
Whenasuccessfulentrycodeisentered,theL.E.D.lightwillturnRED.
IftheL.E.D.lightdoesnotturnRED,tryreprogrammingtheentrycode.
IftheL.E.D.lightdoesturnREDandthegatedoesn'topen,verifyyouhavethedipswitchessetcorrectly.
7. Toaddasecondentrycode,starttheprogrammingstepsoveragain,butthistimepress02(seestep4).
Ifyouareusingmorethenoneentrycode,youmaywanttokeepalogofalltheentrycodesused
andwhatpositiontheentrycodesareinthe60codememory.
