is not allowed. The area has to be marked correspondingly. Take care for sufficient ventilation.
4. Assembling
4.1Barrel model RKR 200/3 D, RKR 200/3 dA
Open faucet hole of the barrel. Put the cleaning pan onto the barrel in that way that the reflux nipple
extend into the 3/4” orifice, but do not cover the 2” orifice. Screw the pan to the barrel.
Proceed with 4.4 and 4.5
4.2Floor-mounted model RKR 200/2 d, RKR 200/2 DA, RKR 200/2 D-2
Plug the standpipes into the corresponding sleeves of the bottom of pan and secure with the screws.
Fix the cross-ties between the standpipes with screws. Open faucet hole of the barrel and push the
barrel underneath so that the reflux hose gets without buckling into the 3/4” orifice and the 2” orifice
remains uncovered.
Proceed with 4.4 and 4.5
4.3Movable model RKR 60/5 D, RKR 80/5 D
Open the faucet hole of the barrel. Put the barrel into the cleaner so that the reflux hose gets without
buckling into the 3/4” orifice and the 2” orifice remains uncovered.
Proceed with 4.4 and 4.5
4.4With the attached screws please fix the single parts of the splash guard wall together and then to the
grating according to drawing. Put the edge protections on the open edges of the splash guard and
the pan.
4.5Plug the pump tubing into the 2” orifice of the barrel, push the hose for the brush through the hole of
the rear wall and slip on the brush.

5. Operation
5.1 Only solvents with a flash point above 55°C (formerly VbF-dangerous class AIII) are permitted to
be used.
5.2 By operating the foot switch the pump delivers the solvent through the brush. With the brush the
parts can be treated in the desired manor. The peeled off dust particles flow back into the barrel
together with the solvent and concentrate in the lower part of the barrel.
That’s why the pump draws in always clean liquid.
5.3 When operating the small parts cleaner all local laws and directives have to be strictly observed.
5.4 In case alkaline solvents are used the pump tubing must be of stainless steel.
6. Servicing and maintenance
6.1 The machine itself is maintenance-free, but should be cleaned if necessary and checked for
possible damages especially of the hoses. Defect hoses should immediately been replaced by
original hoses.
6.2 From time to time the bolted joints have to be checked and if necessary tightened.
6.3 Depending on the application and period of use the solvent will be sooner or later contaminated
and must be replaced. Used solvent has to be given to your supplier or to an authorized waste
management enterprise upon receipt of proof of delivery.
7. Safety instructions
7.1 Only solvents with a flash point over 55°C, anciently VbF dangerous class AIII, my be used.
7.2 The “Regulations for installations for the cleaning of workpieces with solvents” issued by local
authorities have to be strictly observed.
7.3 Installation can only be carried out off-site of fire-break and explosion endangering areas and
only in sufficiently naturally ventilated rooms.
7.4 Within an area of 5m open fire and other sparkling sources are forbidden.
7.5 Only set up the cleaner on smooth and levelled surface.
7.6 Load the cleaner that way that the stability is secured.
7.7 The cleaner must stand on a collecting pan.
7.8 The security data sheets of solvent producer must strictly be observed.
7.9 Introducing of easily inflammable liquids i.e. petrol is permitted.
7.10 Only CFC-free solvents are allowed.
7.11 Spoiled solvents have to be immediately removed and disposed professionally.
7.12 It has to be taken care that no solvent infiltrate soil or sewer system.
7.13 Wear protective clothing, glasses gloves.
7.14 Only return used solvent to your dealer or authorized waste management enterprise upon
receipt of proof of delivery.
