1. Kindly observe: This operation manual contains all necessary information. Please read carefully to avoid
damages and faults. All rapid pieces of equipment are checked carefully before delivery for their perfect
composition and function. In case of improper use all rights to claim under guarantee are void.
2. Technical Data
Grease up to a consistency of 2(NLGI/class2 according to DIN 51818) can be used. Do not use pastes without
lubricating quality (with abrasive parts) neither silicon pastes.
3. Operation and use
3.1 Remove the cover of the grease container.
3.2 Press the grease following plate into the grease of the container until grease is visible in the center orifice.
The rubber seal must fit closely and even to the container wall.
3.3 Put the drum cover onto the container.
3.4 Insert the pump through the fixing clamp of the barrel cover and the grease following plate until the
bottom of the grease container. Secure the pump with a wing nut.
3.5 Connect the flexible grease connection and grease pistol to the pump.
3.6 Before operating the unit check all connections for well and firm seating and leakproof.
3.7 Install flexible air connection with the possibility to block it. It is indispensable to use a compressed air
maintenance unit with filter and oiler and pressure reducer. Regularly refill oil and remove water out of
the filter. Working air pressure adjust between 5 bar and 8 bar max.
3.8 As soon as the air connection is started the pump draws in grease automatically. Keep the pistol open until
grease comes out of it. Then let go of the lever. After the maximum operation pressure is reached pump
stops automatically and is ready for operation.
3.9 In case the installation is not used stop the block the air connection of the pump. Relief the flexible grease
connection of pressure by operating the grease pistol.

4. Maintenance and fault clearance
4.1 Before every use all parts of the unit which are getting in contact with the medium i.e. pump, hoses and
grease pistol as well as the compressed air supplying hoses have to be checked carefully if there are leaks
or damages and if so eliminate.
4.2 Always refill the compressed air maintenance unit with suitable oil.
4.3 Pump does not draw in:
4.3.1 Clean dust trap within the suction line.
4.3.2 Ventilate pump.
4.4 Supply capacity is too low:
4.4.1 Clean dust trap within the suction line.
4.4.2 Check grease temperature, it should not be less than 18°C.
4.5 Air within the supplying line:
4.5.1 Make sure that no air is drawn in.
4.6 Pump is working, but does not supply:
4.6.1 Barrel is empty, change or refill.
4.6.2 Pump draws air, make sure that the suction orifice does not stand in the grease.
4.6.3 Use fitting grease following plate.
5. Safety instructions:
5.1 During working pauses and shutdowns the air stopcock in front of the pump must be closed,
to avoid unintentional supply, for example in case of a leak within the pipe or in case of a
leaking hose.
5.2 In case of permanent installed grease pipe lines a relief valve as a security valve must be built
in at the pump.
5.3 During the operating the pump and all parts of the installation are under a pressure of
400 bar. Do not focus the grease pistol to human beings. Danger of injuring.
5.4 For the pie and hose lines only use material suitable for 400 bar pressure.
6. Liability and Guarantee
6.1 In case of insufficient maintenance, faults on operation, use of not adequate spare parts or attachments
all liabilities and rights of claim under guarantee are void.
6.2 The manufacturer is not liable for improper use of this piece of equipment or ignoring the safety
instructions.
6.3 Technical modifications are subject to change without announcement.
