application, to suitable materials, using suitable xings and comply with any relevant
codes. It should be inspected periodically for signs of wear and tear that may affect
performance or safety.
Dimensions are subject to manufacturer’s tolerance of +/-10mm. Rough-in should be
completed with each xture.

PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
All folding shower seat installations, where support legs go to the Finished
Floor Level [FFL], are unique due to the ‘fall’ of each individual oor. To ensure
accurate installation, ensure the seat is level and the legs fully extended to meet the
FFL before securing unit to the wall.
Warning: Folding Shower Seats are no stronger than the anchors or walls to
which they are attached and, therefore, must be rmly secured in order to
support the loads for which they are intended.
INSTALLATION
RBA4157-777-005 Folding Shower Seat meets the requirements of Changing
Places Design Specications 2020 when installed correctly.
1. Locate seat horizontally on wall to comply with Changing Places Design
Specications 2020. Secure unit to wall at mounting points shown on dimensional
drawing.
2. Check to make sure seat surface is horizontal and frame is at against wall.
3. Check to see if seat moves freely from horizontal to vertical position.
4. Shower seat can be folded up when not in use.
OPERATION
Legs lock into place to by pushing the legs into the wall to prevent seat from
falling down when not in use.
To place seat back down from upright position pull both legs out and slowly lower
seat to horizontal position
