Note, the SimplicityCam drivers will install
when the camera is plugged in to the computer.
No driver pre-installation is required. Simply wait
a few minutes for Windows to install the drivers
and report that the new hardware has been
successfully installed.
OR
Your SimplicityCam comes bundled with video
capture software to capture still images and
video.

as videos to help you get a quick handle on how
to use the SimplicityCam.

Some Quick Tips for Using Your SimplicityCam.

1. We recommend using your camera in
1600x1200. This is great for still image
capture and live image preview. If you need
a faster frame rate for video recording then
we recommend one of the 1280 resolutions.
(The SC5e has much higher resolutions
available and if your computer can support
these high resolutions you can use them for
capturing still images with high resolution
clarity.)
Use this button to change the
resolution.
Use this button to switch to full
screen preview mode.
2. The preview window is a live compressed
preview of the camera feed. The image
quality of the live feed will be slightly lower
than the image quality of the still image
capture.
3. For optimal text and image clarity we
recommend taking a snapshot.
Use this button to take a snapshot.
4. Then open the image (click thumbnail
image) and use your image preview
software to zoom in on the image.
