THE BCDC MOUNTING BRACKET
The REDARC BCDC Mounting Bracket is designed to install your BCDC in the cool airflow at the front of
your vehicle, away from high temperature areas for maximum performance. The BCDC Mounting Bracket
is constructed from durable stainless steel and has been designed to fit existing mounting points in your
vehicle for ease of installation.
This manual outlines installation of the BCDCMB-009 mounting bracket in the Mitsubishi Triton MR Diesel
or Mitsubishi Pajero Sport QF.

DO NOT INSTALL THE BCDC MOUNTING BRACKET UNLESS YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THESE INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS.

MAKE AND MODEL SPECIFICATIONS.
• Incorrect installation of this product could adversely affect the safety systems, emissions,
functionality, reliability and structural integrity of your vehicle. Please refer to the vehicle manufacturer
or suitably qualified automotive technician for information on a safe location and method of installing
this product in your vehicle.
CAUTION
• Removing factory fitted screws may expose bare metal resulting in rust. Retouch any exposed metal
with rust inhibitor.
• Damage to cabling can cause failure of the BCDC and vehicle electrical systems.
Ensure that all wiring is clear of sharp edges, sources of heat, and moving parts, and have enough
slack to allow for flexing.
• The sheet metal contained in this product may have sharp edges that could cause cuts to fingers
and hands during handling, installation and use. The installer should take precautions and wear
appropriate safety equipment such as, but not limited to, safety glasses and gloves.

#3 Phillips screw driver
10mm socket wrench
Cutout template (supplied, or print at 100% scale)
Drill with a 12mm (15⁄32") drill bit
Sharp utility knife

COMPLETED INSTALLATION
The installed BCDCMB-009 Mounting Bracket locates on the passenger side of the radiator.
INSTALLATION
STEP 1
Remove the 11 clips from the upper plastic shroud. To do this, unscrew the centre before pulling upwards.

4 × M6 × 12 Pan Head Bolt 4 × M6 Flat Washer 4 × M6 Nylon Locking Nut
Fit the BCDC unit to the Mounting Bracket using the supplied M6 hardware using a #3 Phillips screw
driver and a 10mm socket wrench or equivalent.

INSTALLATION
STEP 3 (OPTIONAL)
It is not necessary to remove the grille to complete
the BCDC installation, however if installing
additional accessories at the same time, removing
the grille may be helpful. To do this, remove the two
partially concealed clips located at each end of the
grille before lifting the grille away from the bumper.
STEP 4
Remove the 3 vehicle fasteners as shown
(1 × bolt and 2 × nuts).

STEP 5
1 × M6 × 20 Hex Bolt
1×M6 Flat Washer
1 × M6 Spring Washer
Fit the BCDC bracket. Return the 3 vehicle fasteners
(1 × bolt and 2 × nuts) removed in Step 4 to their
original locations.
Fix the top left of the bracket using the remaining
supplied M6 hardware.
STEP 6
To complete the installation, use a suitable REDARC Fuse Kit and follow the instructions as per the BCDC
Instruction Manual.

STEP 7
In order to view the BCDC display panel LEDs, a slot must be cut out of the plastic panel before it is
refitted to the vehicle.
1. Cut out the template along the solid black line.
2. Place template with the red arrow towards the engine.
3. Align the template to the plastic panel.
4. Mark hole centres and carefully drill out the ends of the slot using a 12mm (15⁄32") drill bit.
5. Using a sharp utility knife, carefully cut out the plastic section between the drilled holes.
6. Refit the upper plastic panel.
NOTE: If you have printed the template yourself, ensure that the template has printed at the correct size
(100%) before drilling or cutting the plastic panel. Use a ruler to confirm against the reference scale
printed on the template.
STEP 8
Refit all trims and fasteners.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE/CHECKS
Check the BCDC is clear of combustibles during regular servicing of the vehicle. Build-up of combustible
materials around the bracket and BCDC may result in a fire hazard.
