READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
WARNING — To avoid the risk of electrical shock, always make
sure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet before
assembling, disassembling, relocating, servicing, or cleaning it.
WARNING - To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or serious
personal injury:
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following:
Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical
outlet before relocating, assembling, disassembling, or cleaning
it. Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when it is
not in use.
Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets. This
product is not intended for use by children. Close supervision is
necessary when using this appliance near children.
Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use, espe-
cially when children are present.
Do not immerse the power cord, plug, or product in water or
other liquids. If the product falls into water, immediately unplug it
from the electrical outlet. Do not touch or reach into the water.
Keep the Power Cord and product away from heated surfaces.
The use of attachments, including canning jars, not recom-
mended or sold by the product manufacturer may cause a risk of
injury to persons.
Handle the Blades with care as they are extremely sharp. Use
caution when attaching or detaching the Blades.
Do not touch moving parts (e.g., the Blades) while the product
is in use.
Keep hands and utensils away from the moving Blades while
operating the product. A scraper may be used but only when the
product is not operating.
Do not plug/unplug the product into/from the electrical outlet
with a wet hand.
To disconnect the product from an electrical outlet, pull directly
on the plug; do not pull on the power cord.
Always operate the product with the cover in place.

When blending hot liquids, remove the center piece of the
two-piece cover after initially starting the blending process.
Never place the Blade Assembly on the Base unless attached
to the Jar.
Do not put any stress on the Power Cord where it connects to
the product, as the Power Cord could fray and break.
Do not operate the product if it has a damaged or cut Power
Cord or plug, if wires are exposed, if it malfunctions, or if it is
dropped or damaged. This product has no user-serviceable
parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself.
Only qualified service personnel should perform any servicing;
take the product to the appliance repair shop of your choice for
inspection and repair.
CAUTION -- To reduce the risk of personal injury
or product/property damage:
This product is intended for indoor, non-commercial, non-in-
dustrial use in processing foods for human consumption. Do not
use the product outdoors or for any other purpose.
Always operate the product on a flat, stable surface.
Do not attempt to open any part of the Motor Housing.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter where it may
be tripped over or pulled.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension
cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their
use:
The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that
of the product;
If the product is of the grounding type, the extension cord must
be a grounding-type 3-wire cord;
Arrange the longer cord so that it will not drape over a countertop
or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled on
unintentionally (especially by children).

USING THE APPLIANCE
To Assemble
1.Before using the product for the first time, wash all the parts
except the Main Body in warm, soapy water, and then rinse and
dry thoroughly.
CAUTION: Never immerse the Main Body in water or other
liquids. Never use abrasive cleaners on any part of the product.
Do not place any parts into a dishwasher or extremely hot water.
2.Place the blade assembly on the blade base and then screw it
tightly.
CAUTION: Do not forget to place the clutch in.
3.Place the blade base and blade assembly on the cup base.

4. Place the Main Body on a flat, stable surface, and then place
the assembled Cup in the top of the Main Body and turn
clockwise until it is firmly in place.

TO USE THE BLENDER
CAUTION: Do not operate the product until it is properly
assembled.
1.Ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
2.Pour liquid ingredients into the Pitcher.
3.Wash all solid ingredients and cut them into pieces small
enough to fit into the Cup.
The Pitcher has 600 milliliter capacity. Do not over-fill it.
CAUTION: Do not use the product for mashing or grinding
heavy foods (e.g., potatoes or meats) or to stir thick mixtures
(e.g., dough).
4.After filling the Pitcher with ingredients, place the Lid with
measuring cup securely onto the Cup.
5.Plug the product into a standard 120 volt AC electrical outlet.
6.Turn the Dial to the desired speed 1-2 (lowest or highest) or
hold the Dial in the “Pulse” position for Pulse.
CAUTION: Never operate the product if it is empty.
NOTE: If the Blades are not operating smoothly, stop the product
and add some liquid, or reduce the contents in the Cup.
7.Turn off the product by turning the Dial to the “0” position, and
then unplug the product from the electrical outlet.
WARNING: Always unplug the product when it is not in use
or will be left unattended.
8.When the Blades have stopped, the Cup can be removed from
the Main Body.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Always ensure the product is unplugged from the
electrical outlet before relocating, assembling, disassembling, or
cleaning it.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experi-
ence and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
CAUTION: Before disassembling the product for cleaning, ensure
the Blades have completely stopped and use caution when attaching or
detaching them, as they are extremely sharp.
Always clean the product immediately after each use. Wash all parts
except the Main Body in warm, soapy water and then rinse and dry
thoroughly. Never immerse the Motor Housing in water or other liquids.
Never use abrasive cleaners on any part of the product. Do not place
any parts into a dishwasher or extremely hot water.
To disassemble the Cup for thorough cleaning, turn the Blade Base
counterclockwise and remove it, and then remove the Blades and the
Gasket from the Pitcher. Use a small brush (not included) to remove
particles of food lodged underneath the Blades. To reassemble, replace
the clutch and the Blades into the bottom of the Cup, and then turn the
Blade Base clockwise to tighten onto the Cup (refer to the Parts illustra-
tion).
Store the product in a cool, dry place.
CAUTION:
Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying
the bowl and during cleaning.
Switch off the appliance and disconnect from the power supply
before changing accessories or approaching parts that move when in
use.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac-
turer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
