1 Introduction
The Infinity CCTV is well known for its easy to use features and an
excellent image quality. The Infinity is delivered with an autofocus
system and an ideal reading table.
2 Installation, safety and maintenance

Installation
Never open the device yourself; this will void the
warranty. Should you suspect maintenance or repairs
are necessary, please contact your dealer.
Please read the following instructions carefully before you install
and use the CCTV.
If you are having difficulties installing the CCTV, or if you still have
questions after reading the user manual, please contact the dealer.

Instructions
• Only use your CCTV indoors. Do not expose the device to extreme
temperature fluctuations or humidity. Do not place the Infinity
directly next to a heat source or in direct sunlight.
• Ensure the CCTV is in a well ventilated room and that the venti
-
lation openings are open.
• Place the CCTV on a stable surface to prevent it from falling.
Ensure that the Infinity is placed 10cm from the edge of the table.
• Should you want to place a different monitor on the Infinity, this
monitor may not exceed 25kg.
• Use only the adapter that is included and connect the power
cable on an earthed socket. Make sure that the cables cannot be
damaged.
• A monitor can be sensitive to strong magnetic fields. Please ensure
that speakers of audio equipment are not to close to the monitor.
Use
• Please avoid direct sunlight on the screen and reading table.
• Be very careful with the moving parts of the tableau and the
serrated metal edge on the left side of the tableau
• The Infinity requires little or no maintenance. If you want to
clean the device on the outside, please use only a soft dry cloth.
The use of aggressive cleaning products like alcohol, acetone and
other chemical products are prohibited.
• Please do not place anything but a screen on top of the Infinity
e.g
. no books, plants, clocks, etc.
Do not use the Infinity as a support to walk, sit or stand on.
Switch off the device when you’re not using it.

3 Controls
See chapter 6 for an overview of the symbols used in the descriptions.
This manual will explain the controls for both push and turning
knobs
. Please check your device to see which description applies to
your device.
The on / off switch is located on the right side of the device. A TFT
monitor might have its own power switch.
Press the up button multiple times to zoom in. Press the down
button multiple times to zoom out.

This button allows you to select different viewing modes. There are
several high contrast modes available - please refer to the specifi
-
cations in the back of the manual for all available modes. The last
used mode will be stored in memory and automatically selected
upon power up.

. After a series of combi

nations the photo mode will automatically be selected.
The Infinity will always start with the continuous Autofocus mode.
In some circumstances (i.e. writing) it may be necessary to disable
the continuous autofocus and enable the Fixed Focus.
Use the zooming controls to block the autofocus.
Press both zooming buttons simultaneously to block the
autofocus. Press either zoom button to release the fixed focus.

To activate the reading line aid, keep the brightness button
pressed and then press the zoom up or zoom down button. Press
the zoom up or zoom down button multiple times to position the
reading line. To remove the reading line from the screen, keep
the brightness button pressed and then press either the zoom up
or zoom down button.
Press the button to adjust the brightness of the screen.
The Infinity has a smooth moving X Y tableau. You can place a book,
photo, magazine etc. to enlarge it on the screen. The tableau can
be moved from right to left or left to right (X) or forwards and
backwards (Y).
Tip: Place your book at the back of the tableau against the upstan
-
ding edge. By doing so the text will read straight and the reading
line or block blanking will run parallel to your text as well.

Reading aid

Underneath the tableau you will find two brake handles with which
you can restrict the movement of the tableau.
The left brake handle controls the movement from left to right.
The right handle controls the movement from up to down.
The handles have 3 positions:
left
=
free movement of the tableau
middle
=
free movement, with slight resistance
right
=
all movement is blocked
4 General Information
This product is tested for safety and electromagnetic interference
and meets the requirements of both the Low Voltage Directive and
the EMC Directive as laid out by the European Parliament and the
Council of the European Union.
Discarding the Infinity
This symbol of the crossed out wheelie bin
indicates that the product must not be disposed of
with your other household waste. Check local
regulations for proper disposal of electronic
products.
