INTRODUCTION
The Rapid clamp is intended to fasten accessories with 20mm post to the accessory rail on an
operating table.
ABOUT THIS MANUAL
This manual is for clinical personnel, service personnel and others, who need the knowledge and
understanding of the rapid clamp and how it works.
•Read the manual carefully before the use of the clamp.
•Always follow the instructions in this manual.
•Keep always the manual close to the equipment.
IMPORTANT SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS
•A daily functional control shall always be done.
•Service and maintenance shall be done by authorized personnel according to issued intervals.
•CAUTION! To prevent malfunction of the rapid clamp, responsible personnel must
check that the clamp is hooked from the bottom side of the rail and that the mark “UP”
is on the top side of the clamp.
INSTALLATION
Check by unpacking that the clamp isn´t damaged in any way and that all accessories are enclosed.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
Be aware of that service, reconstruction, adjustments and all kind of repair only had to be done by
educated personnel. Changing of the construction without the written permission from the
manufacturer is strictly forbidden.
Cleaning
Clean with soap and tempered water. If necessary, use alcohol as supplement.
Control
Check daily before use that there are no damages on the clamp. Also check the locking function.
Annual service
Once a year the clamp shall be carefully cleaned and greased and the locking function checked.

anticlockwise.
